So sorry for being late

Sassy first of all thank you so much for posting the OS in the forum. 🤗. Secondly the OS is ⭐️

Even I felt that in the serial they had left Arpita issue hanging in the air. Yes he had destroyed her pictures but that doesn't mean that he had erased those memories. We also never wanted for those memories to be erased forever but then they should have shown AarYa dealing with it together and that is what you have shown here 👏

Aarti sees him talking to Arpita so she was bound to feel hurt. She never stopped anyone from talking about or remembering Arpita. She tried her best to keep her memories alive, yet she found him talking to her picture and she was hurt, cause she was not involved in it. She was once again the third wheel.

Loved the maturity of Palak. She is small yet she knows her parents so well.
Well not just her but all family members knows them so well 😆

I had always loved Vidhi and Aarti relationship in the serial and the same you continued here. Same goes for all three brothers. So hats off to you for keeping the same essence in this OS ⭐️

AarYa romance was DEADLY 🤢. Even after toning it down it was 🤢. But then they are AarYa so hotness factor should be there.

And finally they had the conversation that was much needed. This was one thing that was still weighing on their relationship and now they have put it behind them. Because of you, we also got our closure. So another thank you 🤗

Loved loved loved the dining table scene.

Yes you'll get one in SN also 😉 (just don't know when)

Once again loved the OS and thank you for writing it 🤗

Ah Nikky 😃 thank you, love the analysis (why do you think you don't do it well, I'll never know). I tried to put my two cents on the already well-defined PV characters and its fun to try to come up with a good reason for a character choice. I am glad that you like the story; after all Arpita has shaped Yash too but it doesn't mean that he couldn't let someone else in. An yes, in the end it's about Aarya and how they resolve their disagreement and if they can have fun doing it 😳 then great.

Seriously Sassie Sauce! I loved this story! It's passionate, heartfelt, humorous, and so heartwarmingly PV! It was so easy to imagine the characters including the kids! Like all of your stories based on PV, it's just an awesome extension of the show. ❤️

Finally Aarti reacted the way all of us expected her to, it was about damn time. And it was so funny to imagine Yash's confusion after that confrontation and how he showed his frustration the following day! And yes no kid wants to know about their parents getting it on, so I could imagine their reaction at Gayatri's comment.

It's sweet how each took a step to rush things but whilst Yash went for simple, Aarti went for scorching hot! That's all I'll say on that. But finally Yash understands that he does not have to shut Aarti out. She understands very well what Arpita meant to him... It's not his grief for her that bothers her, it's that he did not share that grief with her.

And having been rejected before, she did not feel that she could be loved as deeply as Yash seemed to love Arpita. That's also why she was satisfied with just crumbs... Yash realized this about her and lets her know that for him she is very much valuable.

I loved the spin you put on Arpita's story. The show made everything so perfect but here you showed a normal relationship with a struggling couple... Yash's guilt here makes much more sense than the stupid I promised Arpita nonsense! Loved, loved, loved your portrayal of the children and how Aarti ensures that the girls don't feel guilty about loving and missing Arpita. Palak especially who suffered the most tormented by that guilt.

Coming to the gift: it was beautifully described. In the simplest way she is showing him that he can continue loving the two woman in his life for what they mean to him. Both Arpita and Aarti are a part of his heart for different reasons, and they both play an integral part in the life of his children. He can therefore accept the present without feeling guilty about the past and vice versa. And Aarti accepts everything about him and wants to share everything with him, even if it might be painful for her.

Beautifully penned Sassie Sauce, you cannot doubt that I loved it! It was humorous, romantic, bittersweet, passionate, and scorching hot! 🤢

Thank you Tessa, that's nice (yeah I know, you going to say that has nothing to do with it, 😉). The funny thing is that, as you know, I almost forgot the important gift part 😆 and where I was going with the story, Its ok for him to still fondly remember Arpita and make room for Aarti without guilt. And indeed it was time for Aarti to assert herself and tell it like it is to Yash who was to focus on his own hurt and forgot the rest of the family too. Anyway thrilled you like it.

Thanks Sassy for the reply.
I have one complaint though. Yes I do.

There was NO Bua in this whole OS 😡. Not a single glimpse of her 😭 😆

Jokes apart, I read yours and Tessa's comments and reply. I love that you also showed that there is nothing wrong in keeping past memories alive and moving forward.

That is the main highlight of my SS "Shadows Of The Past". In that also I'm trying to show the same thing. Only my story will take numerous chapters and you showed it all in ONE Chapter 😲. Hats off to you my friend 👏 ⭐️

😆 promise I'll try to add dear Bua in the next one..she is fun, well she is something, despite her annoying behavior.
Nope don't sell yourself short, I am loving how SOPT is moving ahead as long as it doesn't take four years 😉.

So i wanted to do a victory dance when I read this
Hooray for Aarti. Finally she found her voice. Finally she managed to vocalise what the ever presence of Arpita in their lives even now, 5 years later.

Even though she knows he loves her, of course she would feel insecure about his feelings given their history and how bitterly he fought to retain his feelings his dead wife. Any woman wants to be assured that only she occupies her husbands heart.

And she was fair. She gave him his time and space when she knew he needed it. But as usual she made as if it didn't bother her. As usual she grinned and bore the niggling pain that she would alwasy share her husband. She was so used to hiding her feelings that it took Vidhi to point it out to her. She was jealous and justifiably so.

She is not threatened by Arpita. If she were, she would not have had that amazing attitude with the kids and keep their mom's memory alive. In doing this she only grew closer to the girls, especially Palak. She made the environment that the grew up in healthy and happy and loving. She really is an outstanding mom. But even she learns form her kids. They can of course pick up what is happening in their parents lives and relationship. Giving her a fresh revelation as well.

Even his family is over this Arpita, nonsense and understands Aarti's feelings. Even 5 years later his brothers once again had to guide him to court / woo his wife. Seriously, always the Tubelight. And finally he realised not only Aarti but the whole family walked around on egg shells with him where the topic of Arpita and came up. It took them long enough. Wow, everyone had patience with him for so long. I can't understand how they could be patient for so long. Everything had to spelt out for the idiot. But he is our beloved idiot.

Oh, yes. I am so with Maji on this. He should have left the bed not her.

But this time their actions are much more mature. They did not draw out the misunderstanding but both decided to make the first move. And finally after working out their frustrations on each other😳 they could talk. Long overdue but never too late. After this discussion and Yash's realisation their life together would surely be happier. Aarti's insecurity and her belief that she is inferior to Arpita has been eradicated. And Yash had been taught to share show his wife his own insecurities where his true allegiance lies

An awesome piece Sass. Loved it👏⭐️
