sooo, the tables have turned! Aarti always believed in true love, believed that it endured all, and that it was unbreakable. destiny dealt her a cruel hand, it made her fall for the one man who not only did not believe in love but shunned it. her story was not the fairy-tale of her parents, she had to suffer much heartbreak along the way. as a result of it all she had gotten so much guarded, she loves Yash but she can no longer voice it so freely, it cost her too much before, she loves Yash but she had been burned too many times to want to step into the fiery flames of passion. but at the end of the day one does not choose love, and so much connect her to him that she can not make a clean break; she also wants a home that's whole for her daughter, and she hates seeing him in pain. in her heart of hearts she wants it all to work out, and for them to have that fairy-tale after all, but how does she trust her heart when Yash let her down time and again? she is torn by protecting herself, and wanting her love with her...
Yash, SMH! I did not like this Yash but now my heart goes out to him. he is so unapologetically human, he as so many flaws which are directly resultant from his parents. infidelity was so wholly ingrained in him that he could not trust the genuine love Aarti had for him. deep down he knew he was the only man she had ever been with, but his insecurities always got the best of him. he never really moved away from the twisted actions of his parents, and therein lay his biggest flaw. he looked at life through that one prism and forgot that life affords a whole spectrum of colors, and that every experience is unique. I suppose he really needed that tough love from his mother so he could really study what his life had come to be. he had to grow, and he had to realize how precious love was and that he really messed up. but change is not easy, and the residue from his past was still apparent in his confrontation with Aarti at the engagement. now he is unafraid and just like Aarti did before, it's his turn to take risk, to make Aarti see that his love is true, and that he will treasure it this time around, and forever.
I am excited to see how he will do that! loved the update Honey-Bee! awesome going! now hurry up! 😡
side-note, loved Payal's independence! showing spirit already! 😆
