So rain still continues to play a major role here. Brought together as they were by spiritual forces, it was thunder that brought them back to their reality. They feel confused as they look at what they are told is their soulmate. They can feel the potent pull too but how can that be when they loved before? Yash even finds himself acting out of character and flirting with her. Two years ago they lost what they thought was their love true, was destiny giving them two years to heal and get ready to meet their soulmate true on the very date they lost their first love? Under the very same conditions, feeling the exact same fears; fears which link their destinies closer and force them to comfort and be the balm that the other needs... That very last paragraph is prove of it as Aarti lands unconscious in his arms...
Gayatri being a mother understand Aarti's fears, especially after learning her story. She is the one who explains her behavior to Ishita who I believe is Aarti's best friend and is therefore supposed to know her better. She again tells Pankaj and is right in her summation that Aarti is in no state to see anyone. She still looks out for her enough by asking Vidhi to bring a change of clothes.
She realizes what's happening here but does not want to be hasty. Before anything else Ansh has to get better in any case. Her first object is to support a distraught mother. Even without that factor they are link by the mere fact that they lost loved ones on the same day. For that reason she does not see Aarti for the stranger that she is and treats her like kin. She likes the traits Aarti displays in the way that she treats Palak; she also recognizes the ensuing bond.
That brings me to sweet little Palak. In her innocence she refuses to let Aarti wallow in her worries too much. She is the balm Aarti needs during this scary moment. She even makes her laugh through her tears. Hugging her makes Aarti feel like she's holding onto Ansh, holding him to life in her hopes for his recovery. Her fears decrease just a little bit more with Palak as her angel, her lashes that keep blinking new hope into her spirit. It is for Palak that she chooses to keep warm, and also chooses to laugh and not cry.
Palak however is not only a balm for Aarti but a confidence booster for her dad. Arpita's spirit gave him the will to operate and save an innocent life on the very day he could not save her own, Aarti's fears gave him the strength he required to save her son, and Palak's innocent conviction in his abilities gave him the confidence he needed. Then there was his team who realized his fears and gave him just that last push with their humor. Not forgetting Ansh who gave him an opportunity to regain his faith in his abilities by saving his life. With so much support it was bound to be a success and saving her son's life linked him to Aarti stronger than ever!
If Pankaj and Aarti are linked, does that mean they did not recognize each other due to distress and the rain? Or are they yet to learn that they share a connection despite being strangers?
I wonder what Vidhi's story is but it sounds like she faced pain too. Of course I feel that she and Pankaj will become each other's healing place just as AarYa would.
Also I feel like the dress Vidhi gave to Aarti will become symbolic for them. He gave it to his sister not knowing that destiny meant it to have a different owner... Just like Arpita's green saree, this dress will hold meaning for them. It is the dress in which he is now catching her from falling, also one in which he returned her life to her by saving her son. The wet clothes are gone and ruined just like their past, but this new dress marks a new beginning for them. One in which their past shadows begin to fade after pushing them into each other's arms.
Beautiful going Didu! Anxious for more! More than DV, I'm eager for this one.
