Unbelievable update. I had not expected anything like it. Very very interesting. What will the arrogant Mr. Sindhia do now. Is he going to go to Arti and eat crow? Waiting to see. Awesome story, full of twists.

Sorry guys, I really rushed this. I wanted to complete it today. Excuse the mistakes.

Yash's redemption.

Part 7

"I won't do it, Mom. I won't marry him. I can't live with him. I am happy here. I don't need to be somebody's wife. Please don't make me."

The dashing Yash Scindiya, business tycoon and ladies' man has to win over his lady and what did he do. Like a good Indian boy, he sent his parents to ask for her hand in marriage.

Why on earth would he not just go away? Why did he have to do this drama now. She had agreed to let Payal live with him. What more does he want from me? Has he found more ways to torture her? She tried to call him several times with no luck.

"Beta, please re-consider. He is the father of your daughter. They don't even expect dowry from us. You father and I are getting on in years and we worry about your future. For us and Payal please re-consider. She needs both her parents, Aarti."

She was eventually worn down.

At the engagement, the parents agreed for the couple to talk alone.

Aarti was waiting for this moment. He had been avoiding her all this time.

"What are your plans Yash. Why this marriage when I had already agreed to let you have Payal, I told you Yash Scindiya I don't want to fight anymore. Do you want to torture me for keeping Payal from you? If you want to break me, you don't have to do this, you have already succeeded. Please I had to agree for mom and dad's sake, you are the only one that can stop this now" the pain was evident in her voice.

His heart broke at her words as he knew that he was the only one to blame for how she was feeling now. He didn't know if he would ever be able to make it up to her or if he would ever win her trust.

"I don't want to fight anymore either Aarti. The wedding will be in two weeks." He went back inside, gave his princess a kiss and told his parents that he was ready to go.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful. The bride in her red bridal attire was breath-taking, the groom was looking extremely handsome in his cream and gold coloured Sherwani. They made a striking couple. Aarti was there in body but her mind was somewhere else. What would happen after the ceremony when she was Yash's wife? She was petrified.

She was in their bedroom struggling to take off the heavy jewellery. She was tired and frustrated. She heard the door, looked at him in the mirror and carried on with her struggle. '

He came to her and said, here let me help you. And he went about loosening the clasp of her necklace. He took off her earrings and moved to the front to remove her bangles. She wanted to stop him but he wouldn't have it.

When he was done. They stood looking at each other.

She didn't know what was expected of her.

Aarti, you must be tired, the bathroom is through there, and you can use it first. Aarti took her sleepwear and went and had a refreshing shower. Then it was his turn and he came out wearing his sleep shorts and a t-shirt.

Why did he have to look so sexy in everything he wore she thought. She was nervous now.

Aarti you must be tired. You can sleep.

They were sitting on either sides of the bed. "No Yash, I can't sleep. I need to know what your plans are for me, for this marriage. I hate this uncertainty. I will accept anything, I just want to know."

He sighed and looked down. "Aarti, I have no plans other than to try and make up for the hurt and pain that I caused you. I knew that you would never marry me and that is why I had our parents pressure you into this marriage. I am sorry Aarti, but in that regard I am still selfish. I wasn't going to lose you again. Maybe ... maybe one day you can forgive me. You said that you loved me. Maybe you could love me again someday." The great Yash Scindiya sounded so insecure.

"I robbed you of so many things. I know that I can never give them back to you but please allow me to try and be a good husband and father. I have no expectations from you. Please just don't leave me."

Aarti sat there, completely speechless.

He finally looked at her and her breath caught by what she saw in his eyes. She could not marry this Yash Scindiya to the one that she knew before. She couldn't understand anything.

She got up from the bed and walked to the balcony. She needed some fresh air.

He followed her.

"Why are you doing this? Why are you saying all these things?" She had her eyes shut tight even though she had her back to him.

"I love you Aarti. I have loved you since the first time I met you at that restaurant. I just couldn't admit it to myself. I couldn't face the fact that I was no longer in control of my feelings. I couldn't understand what was happening to me. I was scared and insecure. And I took it all out on you. And in the process we both lost. I lost your love and I lost the opportunity to see my baby grow inside you, her birth and 3 years of her life. I have no right to ask you this but I am begging for your forgiveness Aarti. I know it won't be easy to get it but I am prepared to wait. Forever. I will do whatever it takes to make you love me again. And even if you forgive me, I will never be able to forgive myself." He was crying now. The tears were flowing from her still shut eyes.

Her tears were now tears of joy. She could never even dream this would be the outcome of this marriage, of their stormy relationship.

She turned around, walked past him and stood in the centre of their bedroom. Once again he followed her. He stood in front of her. She could see the self-loathing in his eyes. She couldn't resist. She took him in her arms. He stood rigid. Now, he couldn't understand what was happening.

She said in his ear. "Yash Scindiya, I am totally, hopelessly and completely in love with you. And if you love me, you have to do as I ask." There was no reply. "Will you Yash."

He nodded.

"I want two things from you tonight. First you have to forgive my husband" She moved her head so she could look at him. "Promise me that you will forgive my husband. Tears were flowing down his face. He nodded again. "I need to hear you say it Yash, say you forgive yourself."

He struggled through his tears, "I will forgive myself".

Then she moved away from him and said. "The second thing ... you have to tell me to do everything you said that night.

His head shot up as he looked at her in shock. "No!"

"You already agreed to do everything that I had asked for Yash. I know you remember. Tell me what you want me to do Yash."

Then he knew and he said with a shaky voice, "T ... Take off your clothes." And she did. "Come ... Come here." And she did. She did everything that he commanded. Everything he had said and done for her pain and humiliation she was using for his love and redemption. And she succeeded.

The love that they shared was unprecedented. When they were lying together in the aftermath, "He said. Aarti Yash Scindiya, God has blessed me with the most amazing woman. I love you so much and I will prove it to you each and every day for the rest of my life."

Aarti had a naughty idea. "I don't believe you".

Immediately she felt him stiffen. She understood his insecurity now.

"I said , I don't believe you. You will just have to prove it to me now, won't you?"

He laughed and said "You are insatiable, Mrs. Scindiya" as he pulled her on top of him to continue a blissful wedding night. One that neither of them could ever have imagined.

And from that day the fights they had was for each other and not against each other.
