PART 2

IN HOSPITAL

Yash: maa, I am ok now, why still here? Getting bore, want to back home and office.

Gayetri: yash please when time will come you can return, don't take stress..

Yash: you are talking like I'll talk with dr.about it..

"Some test report didn't come yet, if all those ok only then you'll be discharged", gayetri sounded tensed..

Yash understood that and said," I am ok maa, everything allright"

Pari come there then and both brother and sister changed the topic to make gayetri feel light.

After sometime gayetri left from ther saying pari to take care of yash.. yash was quite lost in his thoughts..

"what are you thinking bhaiya? About you're a..aarti?" pari asked with melody in aarti word..

Yash made his eyes big, "pari, I said there nothing between us.."

"when I said there anything between you both?? You can think about your friend or more than friend", pari started to tease yash..

Yash: pari.. I said you not to think all that.

Pari: ok ok, I wont say anything like that but you can say me about her naa. Yesterday dr.came so you didn't complete.. now say me, atleast I can get rid from your boring company and you also will feel good to say about your aarti...

Before yash could say anything pari said again, " bhaiya, you can scold me latter, now visiting hour will end please say first na.."

Yash smiled and started to say," 1^st time we met almost 2 year ago, not 2 year, 1 year and 7 month ago.. that was end of july, raining heavily...

FLASHBACK STARTED

Its early morning.. 7 am, raining heavily.. yash was returning after his night duty in office. Its difficult to drive because of heavy rain when he saw someone in road trying to stop cars. For this weather and time lack of cars in road and if some there then those not stopping.. yash understood that is a girl and may be she is in some trouble. After whole night work he is feeling sleepy and tired still for humanity he stopped the car in front of that girl and lower the glass of window.. that girl almost totally drenched with her umbrella and trying to save her side bag..

That girl: excuse me,, can you help them please?" she pointed behind.

For heavy rain its impossible for yash to understand anything so he asked: whom? What happened?

That girl: there one pregnant woman, she is in labor pain, their taxi also not moving.. immediately should admit in hospital.. please help...

Yash could understand the situation and said, "definitely, wait I am coming.."

That girl: no no, that's ok.. you stay here I'll bring them

That girl rushed and after few moment come with 2 women.. one is the pregnant woman who crying in pain and another some mid aged woman, may be her mother or mother in law..

That girl settled them in back seat and then sit beside yash, "please fast"

Yash started and was doing his best for going fast when that girl again asked: excuse me..

Yash looked at her.

Thsat girl: can I use your phone please? Please its urgent.. I forget my ph.in home..

"sure", yash gave his phone to her and then listing the one sided conversation..

That girl: hello mansi..

Silent

That lgirl: are aarti, I am aarti speaking.

"oh so her name aarti", yash thought and then again concentrate in road and listing her

Aarti: are, I forget my phone in hurry.. I'll say everything latter.. listen you please don't wait for me, don't know when I can come.. you go, I'll meet you at collage

Again silence

Aarti: oho mansi, please stop and try to understand I am using someone else's phone to inform you only. Will say details latter. Bye,

Aarti gave phone back to yash and thanked him

They reached hospital and admitted the woman.. aarti also there was consoling another woman.. actually yash's duty end, he helped them to reach hospital, so he could move then but couldn't.. somehow he felt he should stay till they will be relax.. how left 2 women alone in this condition? So yash keep waiting for doctor.. in middle aarti just exchanged glance with yash and gave nervous smile

After sometime doctor gave news both mother and baby doing well so yash thought he should leave now.. yash and aarti both said something to that woman and bid goodbye

Yash was leaving when noticed aarti checking time and looking tensed and suddenly she speed up her walking without saying anything..

"excuse me?", yash called aarti to stop her

Aarti stopped there..

"is there any problem? Can I help you somehow?" yash asked to her

Aarti looked at him, it was clearly shown she is so hesitate to say but still she said with that hesitation, "actually my exam from 9 am. And here its almost 8:30. Cant understand what to do, collage is far from here..."

"oh, exam? I candrop you.. you see, now rain also not heavy like morning so I can drive faster also" yash just then gave that offer

Aarti was still hesitated, couldn't understand what to say. She have to reach fast so its best option but its not look good to be agree at once..

May be yash could understand so said, : see, you don't have other option, there option, there is no guaranty when you'll get any taxi, auto or bus.. for rain already so led taxi. And you don't have enough time also.. so its better not to waste time here by thinking.. no need to hesitate and you can trust me.."

Aarti felt his words right. And this man look believable, he helped already.. so she smiled and agreed.

Yash started car faster than before as he have to take her there before exam time when his phone rang.. unknown number, he thought once then said to aarti: is it your friend's number or that person's whom you called at morning??" yash showed her phone screen,

Aarti: oh yes", aarti took the phone and again yash could listen aarti's words only

Aarti: yes mansi, I am coming, on the way..

Silence...

Aarti: are, one woman had to admit in hospital, emergency case.. so...

Silent..

Arti: are you crazy mansi?

Silent

"I know my exam, but exam is not important than anyone's life.. if I didn't help then 2 life could be end.. my one year waste but their life.." aarti said loud than before, "I'll talk latter" at once she cut the call and then realized she is in any stranger's car.. and how she shouting like this? She looked at yash and said, "I am sorry, my voice become loud.."

Yash smiled, "that's ok.. umm, can I ask something?"

Aarti: yeah, sure..

Yash: exactly what happened? I mean at morning. I thought they are your relative or something like that..

Aarti: oh, actually my exam start from today so I started from home early as have to find seat number. Was not getting taxi for heavy rain so started walking then get them in one taxi for some reason they stucked there.. and after that you know...

Yash: hmm, you are so helpful.

Aarti: you also.

Both shared a glance and smiled.

"your collage here", yash stopped the car. "and this is 8:50, go fast"

Aarti at once got down from car and then yash called, "listen..."

Yeah..

Yash: best of luck for your exam..

Aarti smiled in reply, "thank you", and then ran from there..

Yash was there till he could see her.

FLASHBACK ENDED...
