Anu I read you comment on Gurmeet and Kratika and I couldn't agree more.

The comfort level between them is a treat to watch. It brings out the naughtiness in both of them

And Anu, for me the Ishqwala Love Song is only made for our AarYa and no one else. Whenever I hear that song (and I listen to it at least once in a week), I visualize AarYa (Gurika) in ZRA. ⭐️

OMG I still get goosebumps thinking about them in that particular song 🤢

Just lost what I typed ... my phone.

Borna, I remember you and a few others (I think it was Maham and someone else) talking about how GK moved from being good co-actors to very good friends over the course of the show. I think that was back in 2012. It is so true. And you're right in saying that they got more time to settle into a comfortable friendship than the other romantic couples. But something that can't be denied is their mutual understanding, which was there since day 1. They are extremely intelligent people, I can't stop saying that. They only showed us what they wanted to which is why their thoughts and actions were almost never misconstrued. They constantly surprised us during PV and even even more after PV!

I still want to know why Kratika had such "uche vichaar" about Gurmeet when she first saw him and how that changed as well as Gurmeet's first impression of her. I don't think we would get that but we can always hope, right? They have so much more to explore as an onscreen couple and for that alone, I hope we would get to see them back together.

As for your commentary, I was talking about the one that you posted a few pages back. That was written back in December is it? :O

Just had to comment on the IWL ZRA performance, Nikki! Besides Yeh Dil Hai, Ishq Wala Love is the other song I think of instantly, without fail, when I think of Yash-Aarti and Gurmeet-Kratika. It is their song, really! There are other songs that fall into that category, of course, but since they've performed to IWL so many times as Yash-Aarti, that one is definitely theirs for keeps in my mind!

@bold: Word to this, Anu! *nods* They have been around long enough to know that things can get murky and out of control in the industry where even the most innocent of friendly comments and interactions might be misconstrued, and they have the sense to lie low, whether in interviews or on social media sites. I am glad for that, honestly. Even if we see less of them or don't hear from them, I'd rather have that than see either of them in the news as gossip fodder.

I do hope we get to see them together onscreen again...We have been lucky and blessed with their offscreen in-character appearances and those awards functions, though. That's much more exposure in the public eye than the amount of offscreen stuff I've seen for all my other favorite onscreen jodis combined.

LOL, that commentary I wrote in this thread isn't from December...I meant that the corresponding DotD was from December 2012, back when the episode actually aired. I've lost track of how many posts are out there, incomplete and locked by now. Oh well.

Borna for me three songs are AarYa songs

Ishqwala Love

Abhi Abhi

MARJAIYAN.

There are others also, like Ek Tara, and Bawara Mann. But these three tops the list for me. Whenever I hear these songs I get lost in AarYaland.

And the funny thing is, even my Husband has started to love those three songs, cause I'm constantly listening to them. And whenever Ishqwala Love plays, my husband tell me " Your Yashji and Aartiji's song is playing" 😆

Ishq Wala Love was one of the song I've marked for Aarti-Yash only, aside from YDL and Abhi abhi.. Don't know how many times I've seen it and still wanting to see it again and again.

I actually watch the other perfomances with the same song, can't help not to compare them. I must say, Aarya dance was the best among them all!
The movements, the expressions and the emotions that they want to convey was really felt by the audience..
Indeed a Remarkable performance.. 👍🏼

Agre with you Smiley, I can't watch Ishqwala Love on any other leads. Even I can't watch it on the original star cast of the movie. Whenever this song comes on TV, I close my eyes and try to picture AarYa's Ishqwala Love in my mind, and a small smile appears on my face, 😊

Ah, there we go with the list! The five that you listed, Nikki, are on my PV playlist, along with many others...Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, Kun Faya Kun, Jee Le Zaraa, Do Pal, Teri Meri (this is a YA song for me, always), Dil Kyun Yeh Mera... There are countless others...It's funny, because even if I can't think of them right now, whenever I hear them, I automatically visualize the PV-ZMD picturizations of the songs in my head, and then I'm like, "It's amazing how beautifully they conceptualized these songs!" It's impossible for me to think of anyone else. And that happens with other jodis that have had soulful songs picturized on them in a meaningful way in their shows, too.
