Hey guys,Im sorry if this update is too long or too indetailed..I just have a habit of describing everything in detail...( Im sorry i cant reply everyone's comment since it says groupies cant comment more than 20 times)..
Night approached and the Schindia family gathered at their dining table to have their dinner together.Everybody was back to normal again after 1 month of going through hell with Yash's meltdown.Finally,everything was solved and the family dined with peace and happiness
Suraj Pratap was glad that whatever happened between Aarti bahu and Yash was resolved by both of them and the gave their relationship a second chance.Vidhi and Paridhi were happy that the trio of bahus are finally complete.Pratik and Pankaj were glad that they got back their Yash bhaiya back.Everyone looked foward to move on from the unforgettable event that had occured and put it in the past.
But there were 2 people.. 2 completely broken..shattered..hurt individuals who were deep inside longing to reach out for each other,straightening every creases in their heart,but somehow they could not bring themselves to do it.
Yash played around with his food,his focus was somewhere else and food was the last thing that is important to him.Just the thought of Aarti's meltdown in the evening gave a chill down his spine.What was he going to do?He knew Aarti was upset with his post Mumbai behaviour but to this extent? Did Aarti even have it in her to be this angry with him?
Buaji noticed Yash's restless behaviour and when she looked at Aarti who had a forlorn,distant look,immediately she knew that these two still had their underlying problem running beneath them..
Buaji: (Self thought) Meri bhagwan ki kasam,look at these 2..Marriage was supposed to bring 2 people happiness and togetherness and look at how miserable they are.. I knew I was right when I said this remarriage wont work.Yash will always be stuck with Aarpita memories and this Aarti will never fit with this family..
Being at the dinner table,with everyone laughing and enjoying was proving to be too difficult for Yash.How could he fake it and act as if everything was fine? He could not join Pratik and Pankaj with their masti and could not bring himself to even look at Aarti,fearing to see disgust in her face for him. So,he excused himself early,citing that he had alot of pending work to do for the upcoming wedding..
Yash changed to his nightwear,plonked himself on the bed and waited for Aarti to enter into their room.He decided that he was going to respect her wishes.He will not going to bother her,talk to her or disturb her for one night..He was going to give her sometime..Let her cool down before bringing up this topic again.No matter what,they had to settle this issue atleast for the children's sake because they are the first ones to notice any tensions between their parents..
Yash waited for Aarti for about 20 minutes and there were no signs of her.He was not going to say anything to her but she should atleast be in the same room,infront of him in the couch.He continued to wait for her arrival and after nearly 1 hour,Yash started to get restless..
Yash: Where is Aartiji?... It is already 10pm and she is not here yet? Where could she be?(running his fingers over his hair) Did she go to Shoba Ma's again?..
Yash could not wait any longer and decided to look for her.He was getting agitated and restless with each passing second.He looked at the kitchen,it was empty.He looked at the bridge on their pond,no sight of her.He wanted to ask Vidhi Bhabhi but decided against it.Where could she be?? Where did she go?
As he turned around to look for her,he saw the door of the kids room being slightly opened.He went ahead to close the door and as he reached the door,the sight that was infront of him broke his heart..He went inside slowly,taking in Aarti's body sleeping on Ansh's bed,curling herself into a fetal position.As he neared her,he saw her beautiful face sleeping but there was no peace in it.She was even frowning during sleep.How hurt must she been to even refuse to be in the same room with him.Yes during his breakdown phase,she did sleep with the kids and at that time Yash was glad,but now,knowing that she is so hurt by his behaviour that being in the same room with him disgusted her,he felt such pain in his chest.
He stared at her for a good few minutes,unknown to him,tears were fighting to come out but he held back.He wanted to just touch her arms ,her nimble fingers,her beautiful hair just to feel her presence,but again he held himself back. He just wanted her back in their room,on the same bed,Nothing more,nothing less..He wanted them to be how they were before this Mumbai trip..They had a different kind of friendship and he liked it secretly..Now..now everything was gone..
"I hate you Yashji!".. The same words flashed in his mind and he trembled..Why did Aartiji used such strong words on him. Yash felt that there was something Aarti has in her mind,besides her obvious anger towards him.Whatever the reason was,he needed to find out what was it and the right person to do so was Shoba ma.Yes,he shall go to her house and pour out his feelings..
Yash unwillingly stepped out of the children's room,taking one last look at Aarti and the kids before retrieving back to their bed,knowing that he was going to have a sleepless night of uncertainty..
Yash woke up early to go to the Dubey's house..He just had to vent out all the pent up emotions he was feeling to Shoba Ma.With Gayathri being away,Shoba Ma was the only one he could rely.
As he stepped in the Dubey residence,he saw Shoba Ma and immediately he knew that she too was worried for both him and Aarti.She looked tired and restless..Shoba ushered him to sit and as he sat,Yash began to stammer..
Yash: Shoba Ma,...actually...Aartiji...she...Umm...she...is really angry with me..I..I dont know what to do Ma,Im just so confused as to why she is reacting this way..Ive never seen her like this before(Voice starting to break)
Shoba: Yashji,umm yes,Aarti is really upset with everything and you're right,I've also never seen her this angry with anyone before.She doesnt have the capability to even hate her enemies..But now...
Yash: Enemy? Ma,please dont even say that Im worse than an enemy for her..I cant take it ..But I have a feeling that there must be some other reason as to why she lost all her patience..Was I such a monster to her Ma?Tell me whats wrong??..(He stood up and went near Shoba)
At that moment,Shoba decided that Yash has the right to know everything.The truth behind Aarti.No,not about their upcoming baby..But she was going to reveal another truth of Aarti which was hid from Yash and his family.The truth about Prashanth...Shoba knew that it was due to what she suffered from Prashant that caused her to completely breakdown when she went through similar situation with Yash..
Shoba: Yashji, umm...there is something that I need to tell you and I know that this is why Aarti has lost her cool..But you have to please listen to this carefully and dont judge us or Aarti.Please dont be angry at us and try to understand why we did it..Yashji,there is a truth in which we hid from you,especially Dubeyji and me...( she folded her hand asking for his forgiveness)
Yash: Truth?...what truth?...(becomes even agitated)
Shoba: There are somethings which you are not aware about Aarti's past...Beta,...(after long pause)..Aarti and my son Prashant had a love marriage.Aarti was an orphan when her parents died in an accident when she was 5..She grew up in an orphanage and when she attended college with Prashant,they fell in love and got married.Aarti's life revolved around Prashant and they were really happy in the begininng.Even when Aarti was pregnant with Ansh,Prashant was happy but suddenly,he started to change.His whole behaviour became worse.He would come back from work late and fight with Aarti..This went on and on till one day when he slapped Aarti.That was the beginning of his physical abuse to her.From then,he would slap and beat her for no reason and even if we tried to stop,we were humiliated by him.One fateful day,he packed up his clothes and decided to leave the house and that was when he revealed to us that he was having an affair with a girl from his office.I would never forget that day Beta,the way Aarti screamed and begged Prashant not to leave her atleast for Ansh's sake but he did not bother and he left us forever...and what I meant forever is that,Prashant divorced Aarti...Im sorry Yashji,we hid the truth that Aarti is a divorcee and not a widower..Im sorry..Please dont be angry with us.We only did it for Ansh and Aarti's happiness..(tears running down her face)
Shoba finally had the courage to look up at Yash's eyes fearing for the worst.How would he react?How would he accept the deceit...but what Shoba saw was not angry but tears of shock..
Yash: Aarti...Aartiji...had an unhappy marriage?...She was abused?...(questioning with such a shock in his voice)
Shoba: Um...yes Beta..Unlike your first marriage,Aarti was in an unhappy marriage..In the 1 year they were married,only the first 2 months they were happy.Everything went down the hill after that,Prashant abused her verbally and physically..Yet Aarti refused to sign the divorce papers for Ansh sake..The moments of pregnancy for a woman is the most cherishable part of her life but for Aarti,she had no one beside her during her pregnancy except for Dubeyji and me..Every night she used to cry thinking about her fate but just for Ansh she kept strong...But Yashji please forgive us for hiding this truth from you and your family...
The truth behind Aarti's previous marital status somehow did not bother Yash that much.He was shocked but not for the reason that her ex was alive but for some other reason completely..
Yash: No Ma,for now I dont want to think bout other issue but I cant even fathom that Aartiji had an unhappy marriage and was in an abusive relationship!... I...I thought she too was in love with her 1st husband and that was why I was angry with her that she could move on so easily from him and betraying him...(he sat down and covered his face,realisation sinking in)...What have I done??..
Shoba: The truth is,initially Aarti too couldnt forget Prashant before her marriage to you,but somehow she fell in love with you ,Yashji.. Its not her fault..She too has emotions and feelings..After suffering from Prashant,when she saw how nice you were with Ansh and your overall behavior,she started to have feelings.But now after what you did to her,I think she believes that you're no different from Prashant that is why she is so frustrated and angry...
Yash: No Ma!...Please..Im nothing like that Ma..I would never intentionally hurt Aartiji..I admit what I did was wrong but during that time I was too emotional ...So this is why she is so angry at me...! She thinks that Im just like her first husband...(tears were flowing from his eyes)Will she ever forgive me..
Shoba: Beta,I think you need to give her sometime..Aarti is never a person who hold any grudges especially towards a person she loves...
Just as Yash was about to say something,someone was at the door knocking it.Shoba went to check and as she opened the door,Aman stepped in...
Yash turned around to look at the 6 feet figure of the man who was indirectly the cause for the rift between him and Aarti.The same man which Yash accused of complotting with Aarti to seduce him..Oh,how wrong was he... How was he going to face Aman?...
Next: Yash and Aman's heart to heart talk...
Guys,Im sorry if the update is boring... ..less Aarya here..I felt this convo was needed between Yash and Shoba so that Yash knows the real Aarti and reason behind her meltdown..
