I thought it was silly of them to believe Ishita when she said Aayu was theirs. Why would they believe someone who had cheated them so much?

As the audience, we know it's Aayu, but in their situation they dont...

What if she had lied and Aayu was still in the orphanage but they just believed that Pari's child was actually theirs?

Actually it would have been better to show it that way since then they could have each had a child and not have to worry about who gets to be Aayu's parents
