I think all of us have calmed down after yesterday.😆 Even though yesterday's episode was upsetting, I had a feeling that the CVs maybe somehow wanting to get a message out there and today I feel validated. 😳
I have to say I am amazed at our CVs. We always see women getting raped and harassed and sexually violated. We always assume that men don't go through any of this because they are physically stronger and hence it is an impossibility. Yes, we hear more about women than men but it does not take away from the fact that men too experience such acts of violence albeit at a lower rate.
As much as it disgusted all of us to see Ishita having her dirty hands all over Yash, I have to commend the CVs for showing us that men too get sexually violated. Men too can become victims of harassment and assault. It was heartbreaking to see Yash barely conscious but trying his best to thwart Ishita off. What Ishita did today was a violation at every level. She was groping and grabbing him and in the process hoping to emotionally damage him. We all knew that Aarti would come and save her Yash ji but what if it hadn't happened. Yash would have lived the rest of his life hating himself. He would have hated the fact that being a man, (considering we put so much emphasis on a man being able to save himself), he was not able to fight off Ishita. I cannot imagine how damaged Yash would have been had Ishita been successful in her plan.
I have to give it to Heena Pramar for doing a wonderful job today. It must not have been easy. But it was GC and KS who took the cake. What a class act Gurmeet was today. His disgust at ishita even in his physically helpless state was amazingly portrayed by GC. And then it was followed by our JKR Aarti. Her anger, her disgust… another class act from Kratika. Gah! I am going to miss these two splendid actors working together. 😳
