Hello, I am not sure if you all remember me or not. I have had made couple of posts here in this forum in the past.

Previously I stated my opinion of the show being so brilliant with their story line etc.
Today I want to take a few moments to show my gratitude to the team of Punar Vivaah.

Firstly, I have learnt from my studies about people who are older and how they feel isolated as they get to a certain age etc. I have seen and interacted with people via employment where they say how difficult it can be to stay alone or having to ask others to do things. Ageing is scary! I am sure most of us can predict that. We see older people suffering from loneliness all the time, almost everywhere. Punar Vivaah has done a commendable to job to highlight the scariness of ageing and how isolating it can be. It'll hopefully change people's thoughts about older people getting married.

Secondly, with this re-marriage of Suraj Pratap, they have defined the term love beautifully. That it is not just about being intimate with someone you have chemistry with. They have shown it to be more than that. There have been shows like Badde Acche Lage Te Hai etc to show that love can happen at any age. Love doesn't have a number. I personally feel it is really nice to emphasis that love is more than having a physical relationship! This show has taken that concept to another level where they can show people you can also re-marry if you're in need of company.

Thirdly, the quality of the acting by majority of the actors in this show is just wonderful. No overacting, straight to the point and the thing is you can almost feel the emotion portrayed. The other day when Suraj was justifying his feelings for Radha and how he has started to like her company etc - it was purely simple and there was no vulgarity at all.

The recent track, for me, has been the strongest so far. They have illustrated the concept of 'Punar Vivaah' beautifully especially with the age concern. They have defined the term of 'love' beautifully in this modern era where people think love means physical intercourse's etc. Aarti and Yash both have done a wonderful job with their acting, especially Aarti I think she's simply amazing. Expressions, timing etc everything is just commendable.

What I feel is the best about this show is that it sticks to its concept. I don't know if you all remember, but when the truth of Aaksh track was going on and during Holi scene when Aarti was almost compelled to lie, and she didn't and she had said that the reasons why she got married again was to instill good values in her kids etc. It's those small moments that actually make a difference. It shows that the concept of show is still alive today and it is still relevant to everything they do.

I, however, do feel that the track of Ishita fancying Yash is annoying. It's just going to be waste of time! that's what I feel anyways.

Overall, WELL DONE TO THE PV TEAM! 👏

Feel to free share your thoughts!

Kind Regards
-Imu

Well said. 👏

Now that the SP-Radha wedding track is over and I look back I can see that the writers wanted to bring about the message that punar vivah is an acceptable option no matter what age group you belong in. But what has impressed me more is that they have tried o bring about this social message by fitting it into the current story plot as best as they could. If you bar the time line, significant life changing events have happened for the bride and the groom, that has led to this marriage.

About Ishita-Yash-Aarti arc, as of now I am okay with it. I have always believed that what is more important is 'how' you show something rather than 'what' you show. A particular track may have been shown to death on TV, yet it is the way it is treated and delivered that makes a huge difference. This track has the potential to bring out all those pent up insecurities in Aarti that Prashant had instilled. I am not sure if that is the way the writers would go but will wait and see.

Thank You, for a wonderfully written post.
