Borna, I share your exhaustion. I posted earlier in the DC that my brain is like mush now. Hope all is well for you otherwise, though. 😊 I hope the same for both of them my friend! They deserve all the success in the world.

As a sidenote, it seems that Star Plus is swooping Gurmeet up. 😆 Or at least trying to. Can't blame them. If my understanding of the comments on the ZA Facebook are correct, then there is speculation that this new project he's considering may be the Mahabharat or maybe some new 4Lions project. But I can't be sure. Just my interpretation of the speculation that fans were posting earlier. We'll find out soon enough, if he ends up taking on the project.

Based on the way Kratika waited to take PV -- a role she thought was special and different -- I'm guessing that she'll be just as deliberate when offers come in. As long as it's a challenging role and she's happy to do it, then I'll be thrilled for her! She's so, so good. Any production house worth their salt will be lucky to have her on their team.

No problem at all, Nina. That Fuze article made me smile. I really appreciate the fact that they focused on the positives, specifically the impact this story concept had and the great impression Kratika-Gurmeet & Co. made on the genre in telling the story. They focused on the present, without referencing the PV2 aspect. I really, really liked that. IA, as long as they find roles that they find challenging and help showcase their range, I'll be so happy for them.

True on your second paragraph. The way these last two weeks have gone, it's been so bittersweet that we're ending just when it seems they're finally revealing there was more. But definitely going to embrace these last couple of weeks. Kratika and Gurmeet really made this journey worth it.

Jac, I am terrible at translations. Even the one I posted, I have had it for years. Saved it from site if I remember correctly because I loved it but I am sure I butchered it during the translation. 😆

But what Kratika said goes something like this:

Even if we don't remain tomorrow, our memories will always be there. Just lift your eyes and gaze at the moon and our friendship's picture will be seen there. It was so much more beautiful in hindi. 😔

Don't worry about butchering it at all. All I need is basic idea of what she said and you did just that! Thank you! 🤗 And I love that response you just posted. Aw, she covered it all in that. What a wonderful way to put things into perspective. Kratika is a doll. ❤️

On Gurmeet's options. Don't quote me on those. 😆 Those were just things I saw posters speculating on. So they could be way off the mark too. 😆

Don't worry Jac. I won't quote you on it. I understand how these things go. All speculations. His Ramayan fans would love to see him back in a mytho show. His Geet fans would love to see him in a 4 Lions show and his PV fans, well I don't know I guess his PV fans would be frikkin scared if he ends up with a costar who does not challenge him and complement him like the way KS did. 😆 After PV that is my biggest concern, what if these two end up with below par co-stars. 😆 We don't even know if "something big" is a show. 😆 Anyways, we all have only best wishes for these two.

Exaclty! And on the bold, I think you covered our fears perfectly. At least, that's my fear too. 😆 Same with Kratika. I would love them to get roles that really challenge them as well as co-stars who can match and challenge them they way they match and challenge each other. Because, I think it's safe to say we all agree that a high benchmark was set in the way they've played Yash and Aarti that others will have to really work hard to meet.

True, we don't know exactly what this big thing is. 😆 The assumption is that it's a serial because it's the usual fare. So we'll just wait and see. Definitely looking forward to hearing of their success in whatever they choose.

Kirthi and Jac- I think that is perhaps one of our biggest concerns regarding Gurmeet and Kratika post-PV: not just fantastic projects that challenge them but co-actors who match up to their abilities. They have really set the bar high with their portrayals of Yash and Aarti and I can't bear the thought of them working with below par co-actors.

Has anyone seen the CBazaar PV commercial? I saw it today and they used the Pavitra Rishta theme tune along with a couple of PV scenes like when Shobha brings Aarti down for her engagement with Yash to advertise their clothes. At the bottom of the screen it has the PV banner and a voice over says "CBazaar Official Partner." I just thought it was odd that they used the Pavitra Rishta tune instead of the PV one but it was nice seeing the commercial. Aarti/Kratika looked lovely in that green lehenga-choli for the engagement scene!

SO true Kirthi Di and Jac, more than anything else, I am concerned about what GK's new co-actors would be. It is hard to expect a concept as different as Punar Vivah because Indian TV doesn't seem like the medium where people (writer/production houses) like to take risks. We are very lucky to have a show like Punar Vivah but that's because it's the Mittals. Since they are busy with their current projects, I am wondering if GK would be able to find projects which would be as different and interesting as Punar Vivah. Plus the Mittals don't seem to repeat their leads, they repeat their side-cast or what we call the SSPL actors but not leads.

I am fine with GK doing simplistic shows as long as their characters have the depth that Yash and Aarti's character have. Of course, I do wish that they would work with good directors. The thought of Gurmeet working with 4L/Gul made me wanna puke because Gul not only ruins her shows, I fear that she might bring Gurmeet back to where he was an as actor (during GHSP times). I hope Gurmeet doesn't take up the 4L project. Nor the Mahabharat project because he has already done a mythological show in the past. If I am not wrong, the casting for MB has been finalised already.

But most importantly, I hope GK get good co-actors to work with. I don't know if I sound mean when I say that no one would be able to match up to Kratika apart from Gurmeet and vice-versa because I am already concluding this without even giving their no co-actors a chance. I wish GK well and may they be successful in their respective projects. =)

Jac, where did you get that ZA productions message from? I couldn't find it when I visited their page! 😆 And Kratika's message! <3 Wonder why no one else posted anything about it though. I would pray that the cast would continue to be great friends even after the show ends. ❤️

Anu there was one case when the Mittals wanted Shradda Arya (lead of Main Laxmi Teri Angan Ki) to be the lead in Khoobsurat but she bowed out. I guess they are open to casting the same leads but it depends.

As for 4L, I agree with you. I don't think Gurmeet would take up a 4L project again after doing PV. And I also agree with you about GK's co-actors. I don't think anyone else can match up to either of them. What they had/have in terms of acting partnership is just something that doesn't occur often.

Come to think of it, Shraddha would have had been a much better choice than Soumya! That was off-topic, sorry! 😆 True, but I don't think they have any other projects in mind right now other than PV season 2 and the other new show that they are starting on Zee (or has that been scrapped because of PV season 2? 😕).

That kind of a partnership has never occurred before, for me. They are the ones who truly redefined chemistry for me. I am effing going to miss this jodi so much!
