Reallly enjoyed your review, Minu! I'm looking forward to seeing the episode tonight. What you said here is so striking:

Well Yash is back in his old form , post mumbai wala, one part of him felt so much hurt,
and is dejected with all this as a father, other part of him could not believe how his only love,
only trust can do such act, his inner turmoil taking over him, and he is torn between husband
who wants to console his wife but could not forgive her because of her carelessness, and as
father who is suffering for loss of his son.
Aarti on the other hand submerging in guilt for being the cause of Aayu's kidnapping and
to cause Yash so much suffering and pain beyond limits, and for shattering the bonding they
shared as a spouse in front of her very eyes.
Aarti needs his support to bear this and Yash needs his natural mechanism of internalization to bear this. In turn, they both need each other so badly. I'm reading that Aarti literally says that he is going back to the old Yash.
I'm amazed the writers have chosen to explore this now because it pulls out so many unmanaged flaws and raw emotions. Now! When we have mere weeks to wrap up the PV1 story. Their timing clearly sucks. 😆

Jac thank you so much for this sweetest reply, 😳
I really loved this confrontation of AarYa to the core, it was hot and passionate to watch ,
and about CV's timing to show this now is just wonderful of them , that too when the show
is at it's near end.
Well what more can we do just going to be calm and enjoy the rest of the episodes.

Minu, my only sadness is that showing all of this powerful emotion and story now actually reveals how much story there is left to tell. But, yes, there isn't anything we can do about it now. It is what it is and we forge on! 😃
Everyone: Here's a nice article that had some really lovely things to say about Punar Vivaah's first run, and restated how successful our current cast and crew have been (my favorite parts are in bold):

Punar Vivaah Heading Towards Its Closure in May

(posted April 30, 2013)

Shashi Sumeet Production's popular show on Zee Television, Punar Vivaah, is heading towards its closure; Punar Vivaah, which stars the television dashing dude Gurmeet Chaudhary and the beautiful Kratika Sengar essaying the characters of Yash Sindhia and Aarti Yash Sindhia is indeed going to end in the coming month on May. Punar Vivaah the show which started back on the 20th of February 2012, created a lot of buzz at the time of its commencement one being the concept of the show which revolved around re-marriage in the society and the other reason was because Kratika Sengar was playing the lead role as Aarti after playing Rani Laxmibai in 'Jhansi Ki Rani'. Kratika's fans were excited to know that Kratika would play a different character and last but not least the umpteen number of Gurmeet Chaudhary fans voiced that after Geet Hui Sabse Parayi they can see their heartthrob in a new show. The show commenced with a lot of bang and it clicked with the audiences at the 10:30 PM slot.

The story of Punar Vivaah revolved around Yash, Aarti, and their lives. Yash played by Gurmeet was a character who lost his beloved wife and had two very sweet daughters and a supporting family. Aarti played by Kratika was a character whose first husband Prashant (Sarwar Ahuja/Vineet Raina) divorced her and left her pregnant for another woman. The story of a widower man and a divorcee lady and how these two people come together for the sake of their children was the main crux of the soap Punar Vivaah. The show as such has had its share of successful run and also has had its share of ups and down in terms of the TRPs. The soap is popular also because of the way the creatives of the show handled the subject of re-marriage and put it forth in front of the audience in such subtle manner yet with a strong message. Punar Vivaah is one among those shows which will force the audience to question some age-old norms of the society.

It is said and believed that 'All Good Things Are ought to End, Sometime Or The Other"; true to this belief Punar Vivaah is indeed headed towards its culmination, after a successful run of 14 and a half months. Our source confirms the news that Punar Vivaah is indeed Ending in The Month of May 2013. We are sure that the news of the show ending will leave the fans of the soap and of the characters disheartened. Like all of you even we at Fuze are saddened by the fact that Punar Vivaah is ending. A show which was different and always gave the audience a strong social message along with an entertainment value is going to end and it is not easy to let go off such a show which has set its standard apart in the crowd because of its story, concept and the cast and crew's sheer brilliance.

We at Fuze wish all the cast and crew of Punar Vivaah good luck for their future endeavors.

Sorry to double post. 😆 This is about Gurmeet, not Kratika, but since we always end up talking about him here anyway, thought I would bring this over for sake of sharing information (posted originally in today's DC):
News from ZA Production

Good news for Gurmeet Choudhary fans:

The handsome hunk who presently shooting for Punar Vivah and most likely finish his shooting after two weeks is shooting too for Mother's Day special on Star Plus and channel too got him in Master Chief for a very special episode. The actor is busy too with a big assignment from brand Amul as brand ambassador shooting ads. A little birdy told us that the actor got a big offer from Star Plus, we can't disclose it as for now. The actor haven't signed it yet as he still on two minds. We wish Gurmeet all the best.
Wishing him all the best! Now, we look out to hear where Kratika's feet may land. I hope she gets some great offers that she finds valuable and challenging soon. 😃

Yay for Gurmeet! I hope that both he and Kratika get some really worthwhile fiction offers, whether in film or TV, soon!

I haven't seen any of the episodes for this week yet - I'm far too drained to even think of watching episodes that are as emotionally charged as the past two, from what I picked up around the forum. Haven't had time to catch up on the KSA either, but I guess I'll see you all in the new thread!

Borna, I see you. 🤗😃 Take care my friend. Ya, wait until the end of the week to watch this weeks episodes. They can be emotionally draining but there is a beauty in it that we all have been wanting to see for so long. All I can say is that both Yash and aarti are on their way to being completely cleansed of all the leftover emotional crap from their past. And Aayu has been instrumental in bringing this about. 😆 We are coming full circle, Borna.

Kirthi! 🤗
It has been a while since I've discussed things with you, and unfortunately I'm about on the verge of passing out from exhaustion...so that will have to wait until tomorrow, perhaps. I've been downloading the episodes as usual, but this week is so incredibly busy, uff. If this week is looking like a cleansing/cathartic one for Yash and Aarti, then I'm definitely looking forward to watching the episodes! When have I ever been critical of full circle moments, after all?

Lots of love! See you soon!

Wait Borna, before you go I have something for you:

agar kal hum nahi bhi rahe, hamari yaadein sada rahengi, sirf nazare uthake chaand ko dekhna, hamari dosti ki tasvir waha bani rahigi.'

This is apparently from Kratika's FB page. Credits to ann5. She posted this on MF. 😳

Oh, God. I am listening to Duaa (from Shanghai) right now, and I just saw this post of yours. Trying so hard not to let my tears spill again. Failing. Finally. Kratika's words, when she's in a contemplative mood, have such a beautiful melancholy to them. There's a strange mixture of sadness and happiness in them. Just when I think I can't love her personality more, something like this happens. ❤️ That applies to her friendships, our friendships here, and the audience-viewer relationships we share with her, too...

Jac thanks so much for posting that wonderfully written Fuze article! And thanks also for posting that tidbit about Gurmeet! I hope Kratika and Gurmeet get fantastic offers that they find challenging and worth their abilities.

It is sad that the show is ending just when we see that there is so much indeed left to explore but there's nothing we can do about it except cherish these last few beautiful episodes as we get them.

Kirthi I am loving how we are coming full circle and what timing! Just when the end is near 😭!
Thanks for that bit you posted from Kratika's FB! Such beautiful words! And again I feel like crying just when I think I have got a hold of myself something like this opens up the dam.

So true Borna. So true. 😭

And THIS would be my response to her from us:

Aaj khushiyon ke koi badhai dega,
Nikla hai chand to dikhai dega,
Ae dost dosti ki hai humne aapse,
Aapka ek aansu bhi ghira to sunai dega.

I am trying to translate it as if it is from us. 😆

Today somebody will congratulate us on happiness
The moon has come out, and so it will be seen
Oh our friend, we have extended the hand of friendship with you
A single tear from your eye falls and we will hear it. 🥺
