Where is the show heading?

Seriously guys, I feel no excitement these days when I tune in, there is no curiosity, the only thing one wonders is what must have Ishita done today, how will Akash get any dumber?
I am really disappointed that a smart evil villain in the making- Ishita- has become like a typical vamp trying to destroy the Scindia khandaan - what the hell, how many times have we seen that, even Ekta doesn't use that formula anymore, that's how outdated it is?

I had high hopes when she looked in jealousy over Yash-Aarti private moments from a distance, esp the burn scene where Aarti applies the ointment on Yash, she was spewing fire with her eyes! What a smoking track it could have been, Ishita trying to trap Yash by seducing him emotionally, coming out as a weak, helpless girl, while Aarti kept an eye on her moves, something along the lines of Aitraaz! That would have put AarYa in the forefront, as well as provided scope for characters like Ishita and Akash in the parallel while Akash tries to figure out what his twisted wife is upto!😆

But apparently we have taken a total U-turn with the SP-Radha PV track coming in out of nowhere all of a sudden and then this whole Ishita scheming and plotting to break off the alliance even before the idea is suggested to other family members! It has become too much of family drama while AarYa stand in the background, Aarti does more of her preaching at times and Yash looks on standing behind her! Not to forget meanwhile, Ishita's motto has become to destroy the family's happiness, how cliched! It has become more of a good bahu vs. bad bahu show, this is not the PV I know, not the show I have been watching so far!

And what was up with the starting of the episode, everyone seems to be glorifying Radha in every other sentence which come out so fake and unnatural while watching the show, its like drilling into people's heads that "Accept Radha, because Radha is great, she's the ideal bahu material for SM"
They really don't have to make it that obvious, we get it, Radha knows how to handle SP, Radha can get rid of pimples, Radha knows how to carry out the pooja, she is awesome, we get it!😕
And ever since Gayatri has died, Aarti is shown preaching in every other scene, to the point, it irks me, while Yash is as usual on the mute mode, until he has to say, "Haan Aartiji!"

And before I get attacked with chappals, I understand that we need parallel tracks to run in the show since it can't be about AarYa all the time, and that's absolutely fine and understandable! My point is that when do we know that the parallel tracks have taken over the whole show?? Right now, we just have what should be a parallel track of SP-Radha PV as the center stage of the episodes, and if not that its the ekta of the family and how they're carrying out Gayatri's legacy, but where is the story revolving around Yash-Aarti, there is none, we don't have anything at all, they've just become another bahu-beta, and that's why I was excited hoping for a track where Ishita eyes Yash since that would bring out a whole track revolving around Yash-Aarti exclusively meanwhile parallel tracks like SP-Radha's slow progression towards PV would be a substantial parallel track with Akash's integration as well! But it seems like the show is too crowded nowadays, the whole family is almost always gathered around in every other scene, too much family drama in short! Yash-Aarti have no story or purpose on their own, they just blend in like any other character!😲

Feel free to disagree, but I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one having these issues with the show currently, and I would want to see how the numbers next week reflect this cuz honestly, I think their hard work last week (fabulously executed Maha-episodes) is all going to go down if they keep this up!

Kashish give it some time ... just now Gayatri died .. so a new track focussing on AarYa cannot start so instantly na ... things will take time to fall in place and u know well that right after Gayatri death track , GC was sent off to SA and so in his absense , they do need other tracks to keep the focus on ...

I agree with you. Yesterday I made a fun post also saying we nee to write imposition that "Radha Maa is Devta". they are making it too obvious and slowly they are making Yash as armcandy of Arati who leads from the front.

Till now we have seen how the show was revolving aorund Yash, his arpita madness etc but now slowly its turning into a bahu fight and Ishy baby is now targetting entire parivar...

I get it Jyo, and I understand what you are saying, but I am hating the kitchen politics in the show, its too irritating and saas-bahuish!
And even when GC was there, he is made to stand in the background while Aarti is distributing her "gyaan" and preaching about how nice Radha is, its like those other shows where women are taking the center stage while the husbands stand in the background without any lines, why is Aarti so OTT these days, and why is Yash not given any lines when he is there?
For example, when AarYa go to console Radha, instead of Aarti talking to her, we could have had a Yash-Radha scene since she is his biological mom and we could have had a broken Radha trying to assure Yash that she is not that kind of a person, even if she has made mistakes in the past, why do they make Aarti fit everywhere, trying to correct everything!
Its almost becoming Aarti vs. Ishita, battle of the bahus, while all the men fade into the background while the women of the house are trying to handle the family and carry on Gayatri's legacies, in other words, its too boring, and like a typical show out there! What makes PV special then?
And looks like tomorrow is going to be Radha centric as well with her suicide attempts and probably we will have the hero Aarti coming in at the right time like a perfect bahu and saving her while all will once again glorify Aarti and Radha together and then we will have Akash ki nautanki while Yash will be given some lines as a formality of him being a lead!
As Apoorva mentioned, Yash has become Aarti's armcandy, and I agree he has started to look like Aarti's pet, hopefully they will correct that once GC is back! And the miss-know-it-all Aarti is started to get on my nerves!
In fact, right now neither of the leads have any substantial lines or roles right now except talking about parivaar and parivaar's shaanti, sukh, dukh, blah blah blah!

Just a serious general question that has been playing on my mind for a while...What exactly defines "The Old PV" for all those who are saying that "this isn't the old PV that we used to see"?
By the way, Chhavi, I'm not at all fond of Ishita and her scheming and Akash irritates me at times, but I'm not going to write off this phase of the show because of that...or because Yash is apparently not getting enough to say/do...But unless I'm forgetting something, Yash has always been the kind of man who tries to listen carefully, absorb details, and then speak or take action when he feels it is necessary for him to speak up...
It seems like Aarti is the problem here...? Again? 🤔
From what I'm seeing, Yash and Aarti are the center of the Scindia family. They're always the ones taking the initiative to do anything, they're the ones who are trying to establish and maintain normalcy and peace within their family. They're the ones being targeted, they're the ones who are having to take action and responsibility because it really looks like no one else in the family wants to make much of an effort. From where I'm standing, the story is still revolving very much around Yash and Aarti...because they are an integral part of this family, and whatever is affecting the family is also affecting their lives.

Hi dear, No, Aarti isn't the problem, but the issue is the focus on the family drama is making her character way too preachy than it was before, although she spoke her mind before, but she wasn't seen constantly glorifying her saas and sasur at the drop of a pin! And in fact, I'm not happy with Yash's character either, I had wanted to see him remember Gayatri a bit, esp since he was the one more attached to her, but Prateek and Pankaj look more affected than Yash, its so awkward! These tiny things are becoming too glaring and hard to ignore!

And I'm not saying that PV isn't the same as the old PV we watched, but I'm saying that PV this week isn't how PV normally is - I hope that makes sense!
This is what PV is for me: Yash-Aarti, kids, problems about AarYa in the limelight, family in the background, Akash-Ishita parallel track!
This week: Family in the limelight, AarYa are playing mediators as if the CVs are just making a formality of incorporating them into the story since they are the leads and are on the montage, Ishita scheming throughout the week, getting the maximum footage and irritating us!

I agree with you to some extent. PV this week has been overcasting the PV of all the times before but don;t worry dear. CVs know what they're doing and well this is just a few episodes. Not all will meet up to your expectations so calm down and trust the CVs.

I think the biggest hint is your title, "where is the show heading?" That's the thing, isn't it? We have no idea where the story is heading because we have so many open threads to choose from. Before Aarti and Yash were in love and happy, we knew exactly where the story was heading: to their eventual acceptance and union. The antagonists were those who were preventing this and the protagonists those who were helping, to put it very simplistically. After Aarti's truth came out, we knew where the story was heading: to the family's acceptance and Aarti and Yash coming back into the house. However, once the story changed gears from Aarti and Yash's relationship to the family dynamics of a new, unwelcome entrant, we did not know where the story was heading for the first time, though we had ideas, and we still don't know.

What I do know is that the Mittlas are master storytellers in terms of weaving all the tracks together and we have gotten very interesting hints in the last few days. So many new things have been planted in our minds so they can go any route they choose depending on what works from week to week. Ishita's vengeance against the whole family, especially Aarti, SP-Radha's relationship, Bua's bitterness, Paridhi vs. Akash, Aarti's pregnancy, Vedika, Aarti and Yash figuring out who framed Radha, and now Akash-Radha confrontations.

Am still I worried that I am just being optimistic? Heck, yes, but what else is there to do? 😕😃
