Is SP now turning for the better after reaching the depths of his blackness?
IMO What we are seeing now is in someways - redemption of SP.
SP went beserk on AarYa when the divorce lie was revealed.
And today when his lie is revealed he is all soft on them. He is pleading with Yash to somehow get him out of the mess he has created. Of course he is not admitting his mistake or taking responsibility (that would be asking too much of him right now guys😉) but he is aware of the havoc it can play in SM.
AarYa are completely focused on the inner dictates of their conscience (this is what I am focusing on too because G3 is on an emotional hyperdrive). So they want to set things right by Ak. Their happiness lies in seeing Ak accepted by 2Ps and G3. SP knows that this bonding is superficial or skin deep and that it can mean the displacement of Yash. Yash and Aarti are experiencing this displacement and are saddened but grin and bear it because they are secure that relationships tied by heart strings cannot break that easily.
In the short run SP will be right. Currently he is redeeming himself by clinging to Yash for emotional strength and offering total support to AarYa. This reliance on and support of AarYa will be maintained by him both in the short and long term. For in the long term AarYa will finally be accepted in the fold by G3 after she has fully processed and digested the upheaval that she is currently facing.
