After watching yesterdays epi i have notice a change of colour suit in SP, he usually wears dark colours but ydays was light. Is it symbolic to his dark past coming out in the light?

Don't have much time for a proper take today so just some points on the episode:
  • Aarti attempts to tell Yash the truth when they were in the room so that he can make a better decsion. It was just bad timing that Prateek came to call them at the same time. Yash and Aarti did share an intense eyelock there though. It was as though they were trying to convey what they were feeling at that moment without actually using words.
  • There was a scene between Radha and Akash where she comes and tries to wipe his face and free him but he shouts at her asking her to leave as he cannot bear all this insult as since he was born he has been called an illegitimate child. On top of hearing all these insults being hurled at him, I think what hurts him the most is that his mother, the person he considers to be his God, lied to him.
  • Prateek and Pankaj continue to humiliate Akash as they seem to get great joy in it. Yash looks at them but after knowing the truth about Akash, he can't seem to look at them treating him this way and so he snaps asking them to stop it. Gayatri reasons that his outburst is because of his nature where he cannot see even his enemies in pain whilst his brothers gang up on him saying that they are doing it as payback for their father's insult. It was almost as if they were telling him that he wasn't a good son because he didn't want to see seek revenge on behalf of his father.
  • Yash actually uses a line on SP that had a double meaning and for a second it looked as though SP's mind caught exactly what Yash meant but he of course turns it around saying that he won't feel any regret if his family is happy.
  • Yash wonders how his brothers would feel if they knew that they were insulting their own brother.
  • Aarti and Radha scene where Aarti asks Radha to allow her to break her promise but Radha refuses. She thinks that Gayatri will go crazy and Yash will be broken and so she makes Aarti promise not to say anything while Ishita watches from the distance wondering what is going on between them.
  • Aarti and Ishita scene where Ishita tells Aarti she looks as theough she is trying to be a good daughter in law by hiding the family secret but she knows the reports given to her father were fake. She then reminds Aarti that she once sais she would stand on the path of truth but here she is going back on her word. I think this reminder is what will give Aarti to tell Yash the full truth.
Looking forward to tomorrow's episode.

@Jac, about Yash being Akash's whipping boy, I am very much afraid that is where this is going. And the saddest part is Yash will let him, because he would feel that he deserves to be the whipping boy. I cannot imagine how Yash's self esteem would be like at that point, the sense of obligation towards Scindiyas amongst other negative emotions will be such a cross to bear.

I also agree about big P and little P. The reason for such explicit humiliation is most certainly so that Akash can have his day and the brothers are going to roil in guilt. Well, Yash has already started on that path and I reckon Pratiek would too but Panku according to me is a lost case.

Jac, my heart sore at your words in response to Meena's post: Yash and Aarti, though flawed themselves, are the moral heartbeat of the Scindia family probably because their core personality traits are different from the other family members. So true. Without Yash and Aarti, this family is nothing but a shell of humanity.

@ inlieu. That was a beautiful piece of throwback from the earlier phase of the show. Just today I was offering a counter argument along similar lines when someone mentioned that what has the current track to do with Punar Vivah's concept. And I say everything. Wasn't the concept of this show about how 2 individuals are able to move past their past baggage and become each other's life line or support system? What is happening right now is exactly that, isn't it. Yash's whole identity is in crisis. Again their past baggage have come to the fore front. Their insecurities and their low self esteem have been pushed to the forefront. Yash and Aarti may have fallen in love with each other but by no means are they free of their past baggages. And by past baggages I don't just mean their previous spouses but all the emotions and insecurities and what not they have accrued over the past so many years.

So, yup, the concept of punar vivah is very much being re-enforced. Ansh has suffered because of the mistakes made by Prashant. Palak and Payal suffered because the fates were cruel to them but also because their father was unable to come out of his grief. Aarti has seen this first hand. Ansh, Palak and Payal got a second chance at having a good upbringing and role models and parent's love. Aarti now sees an opportunity for the same with Akash even though it might hurt a lot of people and that is one of the driving force for her to come out with the truth.

And a part of me is very aware of the poetic justice of all this. Like you said, Aarti was taunted by Gayatri for not raising Ansh right. And here she is today having to face that her own flesh and blood is everything she had once cursed Ansh would be, a lost cause, a criminal who would end up in jail and so on and so forth. Gotta love these writers. 😃

Good Morning Lovelies!!! 😊

@Indu: Morning Pal! 🤗 Have a wonderful day

Left you a comment in the MF 😉

@Jyo: Aww that's so true Radha was right when she said that relations will forever change when the truth comes out, Yash and Aakash will always love their mothers who raised them even though they will try and do their best to get along with their biological mothers...Seriously noone isn't going to be happy cause they will be longing for their old families

@Naeema: Great take Dear 👏 👏...Yeah Gayatri telling the brothers to continue their humiliation on Aakash was very wrong on so many levels poor Yash was helpless as well as Aarti cause Yash wanna protect his mother whereas Aarti gets emotionally blackmailed intyo keeping quiet by Radha 😔

@Jac: Thank you Dearie! ha true Aarti and secrets are never a great combo poor thing always gets trapped into keeping quiet 🤢

@Inlieu: Great observation! G3 did question Ansh's parentage and look at how Aakash turned out, the Scindia sons are really arrogant like their parents...Yash has his arrogance as well but he he knows when to be humble something the others no nothing about.

@Saf: Fab take my friend 👏 👏

@Kirthi @Jac: Aww oor Yash is gonna let Aakash do whatever he wants with him because he will feel guilty in other words Yash will be paying for his parents sins 😔

EDIT: hmmm I was thinking about the pic where Aarti looks wet, at the same time she looks like she is about to fall 🤔

I can't wait for tonight's episode even though I've got a feeling that we will get a cliffhanger leaving us with 2 days to wonder what will happen next 😃

@Meena and Abie:

I think it all has to do with the power of suggestion subconsciously so this way CV's are trying to avoid viewers from registering Cas as all out evil.

Prashant wore black. Darth Vader wears black for example. But Batman also does but that's a different case entirely!

I am too tired to do a full take today but I just had to come and drop in a few comments!

What beautiful performances from all the newbies! 👏 Akash was fantastic in his scene with Radha, Ishita in hers with Aarti and even Radha's character got a new dimension in her talk with Aarti. I love Akash and Ishita because they are everything Aarti and Yash are too principled and forgiving to be. They will take badla from the scindias for every aasu, chun chun ke and I cannot wait for that! All the injustice that Aarti and Yash ever faced at the hands of the Scindias will somehow be accounted for in their interactions with Ishita and Akash. I love how the writing brings anticipation even to the imminent negativity because it will be so very justified!

I am so glad my instincts about Radha proved to be right. I am loving her grey shades, and I loved the comparison some of you made between her and Shobha. She is really filling that sort of space as the seeming victim of fate, who on closer inspection has a very strong hand in her own downfall.

Radha-MA? Really Aarti? 🤔 Why does she have to call her that in front of Yash, as though he is not getting enough of a shock already? Of course I am very glad she tells him, but I anticipate some tension over this "ma" issue. If I were Aarti, I would keep a safe distance from this woman who, though seemingly innocent, has a very strong will and a specific direction she wants things to go in. She doesn't want Yash to drink the poison so she forces it down Akash's throat instead, insisting that he is strong enough to take it. Really Radha?

In all the madness, Ishita rang out as the voice of reason. I am so glad they brought the whole issue back to the kids and the pregnancy because it really helps weave a familiar thread through the storytelling as well as maintaining the continuity. How ironic was it that it was the one woman who is not a mother that reminded Aarti of her duty towards her children. Radha only cares about Yash and Gayatri only cares about her sons, and in this mess, even Aarti forgot what she was projecting on her children. I love that it was Ishita who brought that thread back.

Gurmeet was even better today than yesterday, even though he didn't have as much to do. The expression on his face as he crumpled up the real DNA test was heart breaking and it was as though something was dying inside him. All his life he has been Yash and just Yash, no artifice and no deceit; that has been one of his strongest traits. But the moment he crumpled that paper he became someone else and you could see the death of the whole Yash Scindia in his eyes. Good stuff!
