aha.. they hatch a plan to rid of their unwanted children from their homes 😆baddd fathers 😛
@ All great takes so far!
I was just remembering a couple of things:- Didn't Gayatri tell Aarti early on that if she didn't control her son he would turn out to be a gunda? That she had pampered and spoiled Ansh because of the absence of his father - look what Aakaash turned out to be!- Didn't she also raise questions about Ansh's parentage and his father? Isn't that what Aakaash is facing?- I love how the CVs have been reenforcing the theme of Punar Vivaah and the kids along with the fact that children unfortunately often end up paying for their parents' mistakes. I like the fact that what is now motivating Aarti is the thought of giving their kids the right upbringing and being a good role model, considering that is the also one of the themes of this track. There's so much I want to write about today's episode but I'm running late for work so will do it this evening. Can't wait to read what everyone has to say.
Oohhhb my aarti is turning in to a bhartinari uff sach ki devi...

Oh, I really like that point, inlieu. Very true! This is what I'm really enjoying about this whole "switched rival son" arc. The characters continue to drive the story, and, you're right, it's really bringing a lot of Gayatri and SP's past actions and words about a child's upbringing under the microscope again, but now specific to their own son. Although Gayatri is a victim in this situation just as much as Akash is, she will indeed have to face the import of her words to Ansh in her own son. It would also be interesting if both SP and Gayatri are allowed to consider the values they've given to their other sons in the wake of how they treated Akash. As an extension, there is a continued exploration of the ways in which the blood connections and legitimacy are viewed within the family.
I guess getting Ishita married overnight to a already married man was enough for her to get a feeling that she is a burden for her parents .. so the bitterness was always inside her .. its just coming out now once she is outright rejected by all
IA Jyoti, the hurry to get her married to Yash probably reinforced the feeling of being a burden to her parents. I have no doubt she's been nursing these feelings for a such a long time. It's unfortunate. I wish she was able to deal with her circumstances differently, but, then, we wouldn't have much a story if she did. 😆
Meena, wasn't Aarti just about 3 months pregnant at the end of December/early January when they cleared her pregnancy complications? In soap time, it's hard to have a fixed time for anything and I think PV time moves slower and sometimes faster than real time as the story necessitates.
Speaking of pregnancy, this may have already been mentioned in past threads, but a random thought occurred to me during Radha's retelling of what happened with the baby switch. If my memory serves me correctly, Yash is one day older than Akash. Unless one of them was premature and I missed that being mentioned, then it means, regardless of what was happening within SP and Gayatri's marriage at the time, he got her and Radha pregnant about the same time. He was truly living a double life for awhile back then. 😳
