I'm all caught up for this week, yay! Not that I had much to catch up on, but still...
I like Akash. Ishita is...an interesting character. Lady Macbeth indeed. One thing I have to admit, I like their interactions mostly because of Akash. Akshay is doing a stupendous job. Such sensitivity, but such flair in his portrayal of Akash! He's so entertaining, capable of making me frown sadly and then smile at his words right after that. The writers, especially the dialogue writers, are making me very happy!
SP and Gayatri in Friday's episode. Oh my goodness, Chetanji and Zahidaji are wonderful. Wow. Ending the week with that scene, where Gayatri essentially had the last word, has made me feel very excited about next week! Such a fantastic team of creatives and actors we have.
There were many, many things I liked about today's episode, actually. A few more: the Radha-Yash-Aarti scene where allusions to Devki, Yashoda, and Krishna were made for Radha, Gayatri, and Yash; the children's timely, adorable, and useful interruption of Yash-Aarti's moment; the interesting comparisons between YA and AI. Can't leave that last part out. I love the creatives so much for continuing to build on those comparisons through scenes that aren't explicitly linked to each other but that inspire reflection...I wonder what Jac would call these juxtaposing scenarios...
As soon as I saw those LFS (Live from the Sets) pictures of the then-upcoming Yash-Aarti scene, I wondered whether the picture with G&K sitting on the floor, smiling at each other, was a candid moment or not. Got the answer already, and I honestly hadn't been expecting that Yash-Aarti scene to be as long as it was. My GOD, they are so SWEET!!! I'm off to watch it again and again...and again! See you later. I might be back to gush about G&K...You have been warned.
