Radha's speechless expression when Aarti calls her Maa - what does it signify?
- Happiness at being accepted by her 'real' bahu - Aarti?
- Wonder at how Yash will react on knowing her true identity?
- Relief at being able to unburden the truth - particularly to someone intimatel connected with Yash
- Shocked at voicing a truth she had vowed never to reveal
- Fear of exposing that hidden part of herself
- Regret at having opened a can of worms re: her and SP's past
- Hope that her son Yash will never again be totally alienated from her
- Perplexed at Aarti's understanding behavior and compassion
- Possibly a combination of some or all of the above
Some how watching Radha tend to Yash today made me think that she was not a willing participant in the baby swap. Her bonding with Yash was too intense.
The swap may have been perforced on her by another - a close relative or friend when Akash as a sickly neonate was brought to the 'Vaid" for treatment.
After losing Yash to SP - Radha must have totally broken down and slowly moved down the economic ladder.
The only thing that kept her alive was possibly those rare moments when she got a gllimpse of Yash and of course having Akash to rear.

@Abby and Saf: Great takes!

@Anonee: That is a very interesting thought! Seeing the way SP reacted to Radha when she first appeared before him, I was convinced that he thought she had done something atrocious. In the same vein, Radha apparently feels completely cheated by SP. I can't help but think there is a giant misunderstanding at play here, the question that arises in my mind is whether such a misunderstanding was orchestrated or accidental. Back when I thought it was SP behind the kidnapping I had theorised that maybe SP's father created this wedge between Radha and SP because of his reputation at stake, or perhaps he saw a real risk to the potential life SP had just started creating, that is, one of wealth and status. This would bring the whole thing a full circle given that he tried to separate Yash and Aarti... which he did eve though he wasn't behind the kidnap.

It is entirely possible that SP had no idea Radha was pregnant and Radha was told that he did and left anyway. Seeing Radha, I have a feeling SP was actually in love with her and might even have wanted to leave Gayatri to be with her... but what if someone saw that as imprudent and knew that the only way to stop him was if he thought Radha cheated him somehow?

Hello @ all
Just finished watching yesterday's and today's episode - I must say they were very interesting episodes with build up to the new storyline. I had a feeling that Radha if Yash was her son then she swapped the children at birth - her knowledge of vedic medicine was made evident in today's episode so this bit of information could be important later to be revealed in one of the episodes. Know that Yash character in the show is very strong and correct and he wouldn't allow any injustice happen to the name of Scindya's for all the love he has for SP and G3 and the rest of the family and would want to know the truth behind this exchange of children and Radha's relationship with SP and his own existence in question and SP's betrayal of his real mum Radha - to an extent I would imagine he would be angry with SP for how he has treated Radha and he might even go against him because he has lot of respect for women and he won't be able to bear the injustice done to his real mother (her poverty stricken state of affairs was evident which Yash may not like) - he may even move out lock stock and barrel and Akash would probably take his place in Scindhya's house - here I am sure we are going to be shown all about Yash's feelings, emotions, shock, anger etc for being illegitimate, the heartache and sorrow he would have to deal with - the interesting part is Radha is wearing Sindhoor and Mangalsutra which makes me think that she could be SP's 1st wife and Yash still could be legitimate but either got divorced or separated for some reason no doubt a mystery to be revealed. In my opinion SP would not want Yash to move out so Radha would probably stay in Scindhya House as well further creating havoc in the family specially between SP and G3 - well it seems again there is this extra relationship scenario in a man's life whether it is legitimate or illegitimate - a common problem now-a-days to be addressed - still interesting serial to watch with realistic issues and of course the strong star cast specially Gurmeet and Kratika - lets see how the story unfolds. (my opinion)

Samana
I have to go to a list mode here and lay down my thoughts - because I am processing them as I write.
1. SP and G3 are married - they have one son, Pankaj.
2. For all appearances it seems that SP is self-made - so, let us assume he was struggling to climb upwards both economically and socially.
3. SP falls for Radha and has a physical relationship with her before or about the time Akash was conceived by G3.
Note: For someone climbing the socioeconomic ladder a divorce is unacceptable (particularly in that society and era) while an affair is a show of his manliness and charm, but an out-of-wedlock child is a disaster. Anytime the child and/or its mother can pull the rug off his feet so that is not something SP and/or his family would want hanging over him as a potential sword. So IA it is likely that a family member either forced him to separate from Radha or created a situation whereby he ditched Radha.
4. G3 possibly suspected or knew of the affair and of SP's womanizing habit. She chose to ignore it and let social pressure knock some sense in SP. Her plan worked - because SP became a fervent addict of social image.
Note: SP is cheating G3 in a manner similar to P. In fact he went a notch further than P and got both Radha and G3 pregnant at about the same time. G3 remained loyal to him despite his dallies with women whereas Aarti and P divorced. Worse still Aarti got remarried to Yash. So his support of Taiji and P re: Aarti-n-Ansh going back to P (Tota story) is totally in line with his belief and his life story. Yash was the one who stood up to him and refused to break up with Aarti. So SP supporting P in the courtcase makes sense as he believed Yash was wrong!
5. Regarding Radha being pregnant - I am taking the route that both SP and his family knew about her pregnancy - probably when it was too late for an abortion.
6. Both Radha and G3 delivered at or about the same time. Akash, G3's baby is sickly and in need of neonatal care - in fact he may be hovering over life and death. The vaid that attended to him - may have told them something to that effect. So SP and his family decided this is the time to take Radha's kid Yash because they had given up on Akash surviving. Radha may have objected but eventually agreed because she given to believe that if not her son's life would be taken. So she gave up her son so that his life would not be snuffed. For SP it was a win-win situation - G3 got back her (presumably sickly) infant and for him the son via Radha was under his care and would no longer down the road turn up as a blot to his societal image!
7. SP did not bargain that his sickly son Akash may heal and one day turn up as his driver!! And so he is confident that the DNA report will turn out negative!
8. On the other hand Radha realized that she had to hide Akash's survival from SP. If SP were to be aware that Akash had survived his illness than Yash's life was at stake. So she reared Akash without divulging to him his father's name. So Radha is sure the DNA report will be positive!
9. Aarti could not figure out Radha's obsession with Yash. Now she has her answer Yash is Radha and SP's son and Akash SP and G3's son.

We are gearing up for some fantastic storytelling in the future scenarios, as the unfolding revelations threaten to shake the very foundation of Scindia family. The pillars of ethics and morality are developing cracks with the oncoming change in family dynamics. Great stuff!!

Sometimes, when you are angry, you have the right to be angry, but you don't have the right to be cruel and vindictive....

Yash and Aarti have been at the receiving ends of people's anger and their frustrations and their insecurities for some time now. What makes it all the more unfortunate that some of these people were the ones they loved and respected, like SP, Dubeyji, bua, and Prashant . Through all the antagonisms Yash and Aarti held onto each other and drew strength from their togetherness.

"Aartji...Aartiji" were the words Yash spoke in a venom-induced delirium...indicating that no rancor, no negativity can ever touch that one name that is so engraved in his heart...a far cry from that stormy night in the same place when he had once spoken Arpita's name in his stupor. These two have come such a long way since then. One thing remained the same though...she wouldn't let him die then...she wouldn't let him die now. Heck...she would physically ward off an older lady if she thought the latter harbored intentions of harming her Yashji. Aarti is panicked...Aarti is terror stricken...Aarti is going to pieces worrying over Yash's deteriorating condition. Yet she manages to keep her wits and call ambulance and inform Pankaj and ask people for help. In all this she sees the one person who supposedly tried to kill Yash twice approach him with a suspicious-looking paste. Is it any wonder then that she flew off the handle? What if not having succeeded with the snake, Radha is now ensuring that he be done away with, before help arrives? Aarti was absolutely right in defending Yash's life...It was always up to Radha to prove otherwise...that she meant no harm...that she comes with medicine and not poison. Once she proves, Aarti immediately calms down and lets her carry on the cure. Yash breathes again to speak out his love's name...How can he not be saved? He had the blessings of not only the Almighty but also the devotees like the baba and the older lady he helped. He had prayed for his children's well-being and happiness...which are directly related to his own well-being and happiness...So how could he have come to any grievous harm in such a pious place? He being a pious soul himself? Just as the venom couldn't harm him from inside, the dark, hurtful revelation of his identity will not harm his status as Yash Scindia...it'll hurt for awhile, but Aarti will be right beside him...all the way...

Radha's concern, her maternal instincts, her subdued emotions of years come to the fore on the face of her son's trauma. This was the child she bore, gave birth to, and gave away for his better life. She never got a chance to see him grow...and by choice never came near him again in fear that her presence might cause him distress. It was heartrending to see her finally break down, pulling her child into her lap and rocking him while holding him to her chest..."Mera bachcha....my child...nothing will happen...I won't let anything happen to you." In trying to save Yash's life, she had to blurt out the truth...about his parentage...to Aarti, a fact she tries to later deny and brush away with a lame excuse, but in vain: Aarti has seen through her. She has seen a mother's anguish and heart's lament and she has seen the relief wash over the other's face when Yash is out of danger...emotions that cannot be faked...She knows the truth when she sees it so starkly displayed. All that she demands to now know...and rightfully so...is the entire truth.

Suraj Pratap Scindia's well-kept secret is out. Till now he was the undisputed lord of the Scindia Manor...his word was the law and his actions incontestable. What'll happen when the truth of a clandestine alliance from the past will raise it's head in the present? So many lives are going to be affected...most significantly, Yash and Aakash's. Their beliefs in their respective parents will soon be in the eye of the storm. Yash's faith in his father had gained more depth because of the guilt he had felt for falsely accusing him...for him his father can do no wrong. Just as, for Aakash, his mother can do no wrong. Their faith will be shattered soon. That's when they'll turn to their wives for strength. Yash will come out of it without malice and disenchantment because of Aarti...because she is a selfless builder of family and upholder of its values and because he himself has such goodness in his heart. Her staunch, zealous belief in the family will make him gain acceptance of his new identity...But Aakash? He may be pushed into a darker abyss of malevolence and spite and revenge by Ishita. Radha's lie and selfish cause will push him over the edge and he will follow Ishita blindly in a quest for revenge against Yash...one person who they think is the root cause of their rights being taken away. SP will have then be the cause of the wrongdoing of the worst-possible nature...dividing his family and breaking their trust, most importantly, Gayatri's trust. He will soon realize that his hidden lie was worst than Aarti's lie, for which he had punished her in such a dreadful manner. At least her lie didn't cause anyone harm, notwithstanding the fact that she was not the initiator of the lie. This is when Pari's lie too will come round and converge. How Gayatri takes SP's one act of infidelity will reflect on Prateek's behavior as well...

Maya and Ishita's confrontation ended in Maya's enlightenment about the latter's not-so-noble venomous feelings. Well, it takes a snake to recognize a snake. Ishita's reason for the victorious smile is caught immediately by Maya...who is flabbergasted to learn the reality beneath the sweet face. For all the antagonism against Aarti, Maya's feelings for Yash and the girls were always real. Today she recognizes Aarti's worth after witnessing a spite of the worst nature...gloating over a possible death and taking it as vindication of a wrong. For all her wrongdoings, Maya never caused anyone physical harm. Even with all the bitterness she carries, she draws a certain line where taking out vengeful activities are concerned. Ishita is not only vengeful and carries her enmity in her heart, she is also simply delusional. She knows very well that Aakash went to avenge his mother's honor, but since she had managed to convince him to go, she convinces herself that her husband had gone to take revenge for her. That girl is bad news...period. She is going to turn Aakash into her personal weapon...to be used and directed against Yash and Aarti!!!!

That's that friends...my two cents. The coming week is going to be very interesting in terms of the storyline. The Mittals have done it again...given the audience the right dose of drama without compromising much on the essence of the show. It's now time to throw light on SP Scindia's punar vivah...

Have a nice day.😊
