@anonee: Wow! That is quite a theory and neatly covers every loophole in the premise. I think the part I loved most was Akash being sickly as a child, because this vindicates Radha a little bit with relation to him. If she was not the one who administered the switch, and then in addition gave the baby Akash a second lease on life, which he was never meant to have, it would give weight and worth to the bond she and Akash share while simultaneously explaining why she has not been able to let go of the idea of Yash as her son... very nice!
However, there are two clues that point to Radha being the one behind the switch. One is the precap where Aarti asks her about giving her son his rights but stealing Gayatri's son's rights. Another is the quote that DM gave in that TB article where she says her character is not exactly negative because she did what she did for her son. So my suspicions point to Radha being behind the switch even though I like your theory better.
@Indu: As always, we touched on many of the same points, but I loved your mention of the snake-bite symbolism! Akash, through his claim for his rights and his resulting "venom" against Yash, will administer the "bite," or the revelation of the truth. This will send Yash into emotional unconsciousness for sure, given how lost and helpless he will feel. But like you said, Aarti will be by his side, ready to comfort, help and protect him, all while keeping her wits about her. I completely agree with her defensive stance today, by the way. There was too much risk in allowing Radha to go near Yash, given what Aarti has seen in the last few days. Nothing short of the shocking truth she heard would have made her act otherwise.
