Baba(self-thought): Business is kinda dull these days. Maybe I should just start selling knives instead of this whole black-magic voodoo thingy.😒
Radha: Baba...black sheep..have you any knives.😃
Baba: Yes madam, yes madam three bags full.😃 One for Aakash...one for you and one for the superman how lives down the mansion.
Radha: Oh WOW! You are truly are a "know it all" baba. I have lost the knife in my son's bedroom...😳.in mean...I have lost the knife while I was sleep walking yesterday so I need a replacement.
Baba: Do not worry beta...I will give you something stronger and full-proof than the knife...take this poisonous snake. It will drive all the evil away surely.
Radha: Really...that's the first I have heard. Are you sure you are not 🤪. But heck I will give it a try. I have heard that my son...I mean my neighbor is going sightseeing to some dargah.
I shall follow him with this snake in my kitty and drop it on him when he least suspects.
Baba: Ok beta that is TMI for me. Just pay-up and get lost. It's time for my tantrik-nap.
************
Aarti: Panic...PANIC...panic.
Yash: Aartiji...stop panicking nothing is going to happen to me. You are forgetting that I am superman.
Aarti: Yashji I hate to burst your bubble you are just a MAN. The super part was just to stop you from crying when you failed to crack the handi.
Yash: Nahiii😭. But it's ok Aartiji...I will go to that dargah that maa asked me to go and ask peer baba to endow me with super-powers.
I shall pray for snake-poison-proof body-shield. What say?
Aarti: Nothing to say. While you go sight-seeing I am stuck with taking care of all the kids at home. Not fair. I want an exlusive ladies night-out for this.😡
*******
SP(self-thought): Heck my one-night-stand from 30 yrs back has come to haunt me. Good thing I got Yash back in time to protect and defend me. Once I am in the clear I will again banish them back upstairs.😈
SP to Gayatri: No sweetheart I seriously did not have any kids that I know of with that woman. First I do not have forgetfulness like you and second how many bhang CONs do you expect this family to have?
G3: If the DNA report turns out to be in Aakash favour...I will take revenge by bringing my own CON-SON too. Mind it.
******
Ansh/Palak/Payal: Do we really have to play that family family game again. How about X-box or some computer games.

EPISODE ENDS
The Quran and the Ahadith of the prophet have clearly explained the harmful effects of evil eye (al-ain), sihr (magic), jealousy, and other such ailments. Their detrimental effects are frequently referred to both in the Quran and the Ahadith of the prophet. The sad part is that many of us many not even know if we are affected by such evils and go about living our lives with the harmful effects affecting our lives. Al-Bazzaar narrated a hadith with a hasan isnaad from Jaabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said (in part of the hadith) that a certain portion of his ummah dies because of the effects of the evil eye."
Almost all scholars agree that the evil eye is real and is proven both by Islamic teachings and by real life experiences. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): "And verily, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes (through hatred)" [al-Qalam 68:51]
As a cure for such evils, Allah has told us to use the words of the Quran. Such a treatment, also referred to as Ruqyah, uses Allah's words from the Quran and prayers both from the Quran and the Ahadith to seek protection from and to treat a person. Allah says in the Quran, "And We send down from the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe'" [Quran 17:82]
Unfortunately, many Muslims today either don't make use of such protection from the Quran or get involved in the use of lucky charms and amulets, the use of which is considered Shirk [associating others with Allah] and thus pushes one outside the boundaries of Islam. We should understand that carrying amulets and charms for the purpose of protecting oneself against the evil eye and witchcraft is completely forbidden in Islam. The prophet said, "Whoever wears an amulet has associated others with Allah (shirk)." [Narrated by Ahmad (16781); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (492).] Ahmad (17440) also narrated that 'Uqbah ibn 'Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever wears an amulet, may Allah never fulfill his wish and whoever wears a seashell, may Allah never protect him from what he fears." [Hadeeth classed as hasan by al-Arna'oot in his commentary on al-Musnad.]
The hadiths concerning the issue verify the truth of evil eye and point out the precautions to be taken against it. Unlike the assumptions of some people that evil eye is superstition, it is true and present in religion. According to Hadith in Bukhari, Muslim and Abu Dawud narrated by Ibn Abbas, the Prophet said :
"The influence of an evil eye is a fact; if anything would precede the destiny, it would be the influence of an evil eye..." Also in a hadith related by Hazrat Aisha (peace and blessings of Allah be upon her), our Prophet is reported to have said: seek refuge in Allah from the evil eye, it is a fact indeed. Moreover, in Bukahri, Muslim and Abu Davud, Abu Hurayra narrates that the Prophet said: The influence of an evil eye is a fact.
Called as psychokinesis in parapsychology, the evil eye is a kind of casting spell on someone. On many occasions, we cannot keep our eyes off someone or something. Eyes are the easiest and most effective tools in making use of the power of brain or spiritual functions. As the scientists acknowledge, by means of eyes, some sort of hypnosis is done. The snake catches a mouse, bird or other preys this way. It disorders their brain functions by the poisonous rays it sends through its eyes, and in the end the desperate prey pays the cost of catching the eye of the snake with its life.
And the same is valid for the human beings. A person can affect another man with his eye. That some people possess this ability more than others must be something related with their eyes being more transparent. Man can cause harm things or people more quickly when he particularly looks at with jealousy or evil intention. For this reason, if a person looks at something persistently, he is advised to say Maashallah meaning Whatever Allah wishes takes place or Barakallah meaning May Allah bless you.
A hadith related in Abu Dawud by Hazrat Aisha mentions about the measures that must be taken by the people who has the evil eye and those whom the evil eye affects. The person with the evileye ordered to perform wudu (ablution), and the man affected by the evil eye is washed with that water. In addition, the 51st and 52nd verses of Chapter The Pen ( Al Qalam) are said to be curative for the evil eye.
The best way to be protected from the evil eye is to offer supplication and behave in compliance with the hadith narrated by Hazrat Aisha . The superstitions such as using blue glass eye, ox horn, horseshoe, garlic and so forth should not be credited. All of them are forbidden in Islam.
It was reported from Abu Umaamah ibn Sahl ibn Hunayf that his father told him that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went out and they travelled with him towards Makkah until they reached Shi'b al-Khazzaar in al-Juhfah. Sahl ibn Hunayf washed himself, and he was a white man with a handsome body and skin. 'Aamir ibn Rabee'ah, the brother of Bani 'Udayy ibn Ka'b, looked at him when he was washing, and said, "I have never seen anything like this, not even the skin of a virgin in seclusion!" (this was a metaphor for the intense whiteness of his skin). Then Sahl suffered a seizure (an epileptic fit, in which he fell to the ground). He was brought to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and it was said, "O Messenger of Allaah, do you know what has happened to Sahl? By Allaah, he cannot raise his head and he will not wake up." He said, "Do you accuse anyone with regard to him?" They said, "'Aamir ibn Rabee'ah looked at him." So the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) called 'Aamir and spoke angrily with him, saying, "Would any of you like to kill his brother? If you see something that you like, why do you not pray for blessing for it?" Then he said to him ('Aamir), "Do ghusl for him." So he washed his face, hands, elbows, the soles of his feet and inside his izaar (lower garment) from a vessel, then that water was poured over him (Sahl) ' a man poured it over his head and back from behind, tilting the vessel. This was done to him, then Sahl went on with the people and there was nothing wrong with him. (Al-Musnad, 3/486. Al-Haythami said: the men of Ahmad are the men of saheeh. Al-Majma', 5/107
a man may harm his wife with the evil eye by looking at her and noticing her beauty and admiring her, even if he does not actually say to her "You are beautiful." It is mustahabb for him to say, "Allaahumma baarik fihaa (O Allaah, bless her)."
ibn al-Qayyim said:
Everyone who gives the evil eye is jealous, but not everyone who is jealous gives the evil eye' then he said:
It begins when the person likes something, then his evil soul dwells on the matter, and by continually looking at the person who has the thing of which he feels jealous, he directs his venom towards him. A person may put the evil eye on himself, or he may put the evil eye on someone else without intending to, because it is is a part of his nature. This is the worst type of human being. Our companions and other fuqahaa' said: if someone is known for this, he should be detained by the imaam (leader), who should spend on him and provide for him until he dies. This idea is absolutely correct' (Zaad al-Ma'aad, 4/167).
In the hadeeth, it says, "A'oodhu bi kalimaat-Illaah it-taamah min kulli shaytaanin wa haammah wa min kulli 'aynin laammah (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah from every devil and vermin and from every envious eye)." Narrated by al-Bukhaari (3191) from the hadeeth of Ibn 'Abbaas.
The meaning of "vermin" (haammah) is lethally poisonous animals and insects.
The meaning of "envious" (laammah) is that which causes harm because of jealousy (hasad.
When they like something, some people say "Ma sha' Allaah laa quwwata illa Billaah (That which Allaah wills (will come to pass)! There is no power but with Allaah)". They take as evidence for this an aayah in Soorat al-Kahf and a hadeeth.
The aayah in question is (interpretation of the meaning):
"It was better for you to say, when you entered your garden: 'That which Allaah wills (will come to pass)! There is no power but with Allaah!'" [al-Kahf 18:39]. But this is not evidence (daleel), because the subject of the aayah has nothing to do with hasad (envy); in fact, Allaah destroyed his garden because of his kufr and transgression.

I will edit this if need be, but I was wondering about a few things regarding the TRPs after seeing the whole list of all the channels. BALH is in a league of its own, given that it is the only successful fiction show on Sony, and Parichay is consistently below us, but I was wondering about Veera. I know that it is going strong because it has a really good storyline and it is a fresh, new show, unlike the rest in the slot which are as old or much older than PV, but I am thinking another reason could be that the 10pm show of SP is really strong in numbers as well. When I used to watch these shows on TV in India, I found that many times I would just keep watching the next show after my show had ended, since they start immediately, and get sort of interested in the next slot's show that way if it had a good story. I am not making any judgment on the quality of Zee's 10pm show, but just saying that SP's has a 3.9 while Zee's has a 1.7... this could be something for them to consider.
I remember when PV first started, they had a repeat of the then 7pm show Afsar Bitya at 11, immediately after PV. AB's TRP's rose dramatically the week PV debuted simply because all the people who tuned into PV because of the hype, got exposed to it. I am not trying to make excuses, but just sort of sharing an observation that the channel may want to consider...
