Chapter 2-

Nobody had dinner that day. No one was in the mood to talk to one another. Everyone was very tensed with whatever was happening. Everyone tried approaching gayatri in order to console her and feed her but in vain. She allowed no one to enter in her room. SP was too disgusted and frustrated with this as gayatri moved to different room.

IN PRATIEK PARIDHIS ROOM

PARIDHI: "Pratiek don't you think you were too rude to everyone today? Whatever happened was not correct. But don't you think u should have controlled your anger in front of bauji."

PRATIEK: "Pari, y do u think I m wrong? U tell me where was I wrong? Bauji cheated on mom. Is this right? DNA reports proved that aakash is baujis son. I can except anything pari but not such betrayal.

Pari started thinking about her night stand with the producer and got anxious.

Pratiel further continued " I hope pari whatever aarti bhabhi and yash bhaiya said is correct. If they are correct and if bauji is genuinely innocent, I am ready to face any kind of punishment for my rude behavior but if not bauji will have to face this."

Pari was shocked to hear this.

IN VIDHI AND PANKAJ ROOM-

VIDHI: "Do u really think bauji will do such a big mistake and put the familys name at stake?"

PANKAJ: " I don't know anything vidhi. This whole situation is very complicated. I hope whatever yash and aarti said is correct."

VIDHI: "I cannot see mummyji and bauji in this state."

AARYAS ROOM-

Aarti came in the room and saw that the her little angels were already sleeping. She felt bad as she could not spend time with her angels due to the crisis which had hit her family. She gently kissed all her angels, wished them good night and covered them with their blankets.

She then started looking for her yashji. She knew he would be very upset with todays happening. And the only thing which can calm him down was her being with him. She looked for him and finally found him in the balcony.

As aarti was about to call his name he called her as if he had already sensed aarti coming for him and said" aartiji, why is this happening in our family"? His voice was cracking as he was about to cry.

Aarti turned him facing her and she placed her both hands on his face and said "don't worry yashji, everthing will be fine".

Yash breaking into tears said, " How can you be sure that everything will be fine? The situation has worsned to the level that we cannot do anything. Do you have any way to come out of this. Just say. Do you? Ma, bauji are heart broken with this event. Do u know aartiji, when I was small I always use to wipe tears of my mom when she use to cry. And always say mom everything wil be fine. She use to smile at me at such gesture. But today I cannot do that. What will I say to her? How will I face her? She has broken down so much. Also Today I had promised bauji that I would return his lost prestige back which he lost because of me. N see what happened. He lost his respect more and especially in the eyes of his own family members. Before today, all society use to be proud of our family as we were always together in every problem and shared every grief and happiness. N now today our family is breaking and even the society is mocking around about us. What will happen aartiji? I don't know what to do. How will we save our family from this problem and from splitting?? How??"

Aarti was almost on the verge of crying. But she controlled her tears. She knew if she weakens her yashji will also break down. This time she needs to become strong and strength of her yashji just as he was during ansh kidnaping. She just hugged him tight inorder to him peace. Her hug was enough to calm down yash and bring him to normal. After some time, they broke their hug.

Aarti politely explained to yash : "Nothing can break apart our family yashji. We will never let them happen. We will try every single thing to keep our family together and bring back our families lost prestige. And nothing happened because of u. It is the situation which is wrong. Yashji like before we will not only face this problem together but also bring back the lost happiness of our family. But for this, we need to trust eachother and support eachother so that we can give emotional strength to our family. It is also very important that we stay calm and patient so that we can figure out a way to get out this problem.

Yash felt little better and nodded to whatever she said. He said to her "I just realized how much I need you. I don't know what would I have done if u were not being part of my life. Aartiji please promise me that u will never leave me and our kids. After arpita left me, I could control myself for palak and payal. But if u will leave me, I wont be able to stay alive. U r my life aartiji. Please never ever leave me.".

Aarti puts her hand on yash and says "shhh, don't say anything, We will always be together through every thick and thin yashji. Nothing can separate us yashji. Not even death. Do u know whats the best thing about our relationship. We got into this marriage for our children. This means our base (buniyaad) of our marriage is our children. N children are considered as god gift. That means our relationship is god gift and very pure. And when we have such eternal blessing on our relation, nothing can separate us. I promise u yashji I will be wth u until my last breath. And together we will go through this situation and bring back our lost happiness."

With aartis word, yash felt very relieved. He felt as if he got back his lost confidence. And why not. After all his aartii was his power booster. They went to their room and entered slowly so that their angels don't get disturb. As aarti was about to move towards her side of the bed, yash holded her hand. She asked him what happened?

Yash without saying anything slowly moved ansh towards the girls side and asked aarti to sleep by his side. Aarti agreed. She then sat on the bed and yash rested his head on aartis lap. He felt he was in heaven away from all tensions and worries. Soon he slept.

Aarti felt a sudden urge to check on gayatri if she is doing ok. She slowly moves yash head and rest it on the pillow. She moves out of the room slowly so that no one is disturbed. As she reached gayatris room, she finds the room empty. She gets scared. She checks the bathroom but it is open. She starts looking for her anxiously but in vain. Then she finds something strange. The kitchen door closed. She thought that had never happened before.

She goes near the door and tries to open it but cannot open it. She soon realizes that the door has been locked from inside. She sees a shadow of a person through the faint glass and recognizes her as gayatri. She sees gayatri sprinkling oil on her. She shouts "mummyji". Her voice was very loud enough to wake up other members in the family. All came rushing out and sees aarti crying and shouting "mummyji please open the door". Everyone rushes. Everyone shouts so that gayatri stops and open the door but in vain.

Yash, pankaj and prateik tries to break the door but in vain. Then aarti spots a wooden rod and decides to break the glass. She breaks the glass and in that process hurts herself in her hand badly as the pices of glasses falls on her. Yash runs and sees her hand. It is badly wounded. Before he could say anything about this, aarti just took her hand away from yash and ran inside ignoring her hand. Everyone was stunned seeing such an act by aarti. She rushes inside and stops gayatri on time. Gayatri shouts "why did u stop me? Who asked u to do favor on me? Let me die. I don't want to live anymore". Saying this gayatri falls on the ground crying.

Everyone was devasted to see gayatri in such state. They did not know what to say. It was only aarti who was trying to control and console gayatri. She said "Please mummyji, don't say this. U cannot give up like this. U r our elder. We will follow u. If u wil break down in this, who will stand for us".

Gayatri starts crying even more resting her head on aartis shoulder. Aarti puts her one hand around gayatri shoulder and other hand on her face. Aarti makes her stand up and ask her to come with her. Everyone follows them. While walking gayatri suddenly stops and looks at aarti. Aarti asked "what happened mummyji?"

Gayatri said "ur first husband cheated on u . am I right?" Aarti and the other family members were shocked by gayatris question.

Aarti was about to say when gayatri interrupted saying "say yes or no". Aarti nodded yes with tears in her eyes.

Gayatri further asked "Aarti beta, then how did u faced such a crucial phase alone. How could u be so strong to face such betrayal alone? The feeling of being betrayed is killing me very much. How did u keep urself alive?"

Her sudden question brought tears in everyone eyes. Aarti couldnot say anything. She just asked her to "please mummyji, lets proceed in ur room. U need rest".

Aarti takes her to her room and rest her on her bed. When aarti is about to leave, gayatri holds aartis hand and asked her again "aarti beta, you did not answered my question. What kept u alive after the betrayal. I can see u faced that bitter truth with utmost strength. But how? Tell me beta please."

Aarti tries controlling her tears as all her past bitter memories were encircling her mind. She wiped her tears and sat in front of gayatri.
