Prashant is forcibly trying to hold back the time which has already passed by and this is the reason why he asks Yash not to throw the watch since it has his past memories whereas Yash wanted to throw the watch which is an indication that he has stopped living in past memories and now he believes in getting over past and moving onto a better present

Prashant advices Yash to see Aarti with his closed eyes because thats the way he was seeing Aarti in garden with his closed eyes since it helps Prashant to live in his world of illusion where Aarti only loves him because the moment Prashant opens his eyes , he sees the harsh reality where Yash is Aarti's present 😊

Yash takes Prashant's advice and tries seeing Aarti with his closed eyes but is not able to see her simply because Yash is now out of his own illusionary world where he used to see Arpita with his closed eyes once upon a time 😉 .. Everytime Yash closed his eyes , Arpita used to appear and the moment he opened his eyes , he faced the real world ... Today he is out of that illusion and so when he closes his eyes he sees nothing , because his past is totally wiped off with his present now which he can see only when he opens his eyes and that is Aarti 😳😳

Aarti had to really pinch her man here to give him a reality chk and make him open his eyes and see the beautiful reality standing in front of him 😳😳..Something which Aarti kept doing all this while to get him out of his past Arpita trance 😳

Finally we see Yash reliving the reality with his open eyes when he sees the love and affection in Aarti's eyes for him and realises that reality seen with open eyes is much more beautiful than seeing a illusion with closed eyes 😳😳...In short Prashant's advice fails here because Yash relives the reality of falling in love with Aarti with his open eyes and its much more beautiful and natural 😳😳

Look at the natural smile on his lips .. he is so enjoying all the concern thats Aarti showing for him .. the warmth , affection , care .. everything is real .. he need not close his eyes to feel all this love ... He need not go into a illusionary world to feel all this warmth of his wife .. This is all real and he is enjoying it with his open eyes while realising his love for Aarti which he sees it in her eyes too 😳😳

Aarti then leaves for her Paridi mission with a smiling good bye to Yash 😳 .. this is where I wonder why this smiling good bye was so highlighted in the episode ?? 🤔...Is it a danger signal of the upcoming disaster once Aarti returns back after a showdown with Paridi on their respective secrets ?? 🤔

Yash's day dreaming then begins on Aaoge jab tum oh saajna song sequence where he imagines Aarti everywhere in the market with his wide open eyes ..He need not dream about Aarti with eyes closed because she exists in real in his present life and so he can daydream about her with full authority with open eyes 😃😃😃...He is not confused anymore , instead he enjoys the whole sight of daydreaming Aarti ji everywhere around him in different hairstyle which is again a proof of his obsession with Aarti's long silky hair 😉😛😛... Yash is finally in love and he is reliving it with happiness and heart's content because this is first time both his mind and heart r in agreement with each other 😳😳

Above pictures showed two important and beautiful things .. First was Prashant's desperation to hold back the time by trying to close his eyes to reality ,reason why he does not let Yash throw the broken watch and instead mourns over his past regarding how his wife has moved on but memories still remain .. And Second was Yash's beautiful realisation of love which is real and no more a illusion and so he need not visualise Aarti with closed eyes when he can relive the beautiful moments with her in reality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
