Gosh Indu, that was absolutely beautiful! First you kill me with that long awaited updated of TSR and now this chilling piece! Loved everything that you had to say, Prashant truly was trying to be Aarti's destiny maker, and now that he suddenly finds out that he has been trumped at his own game by destiny itself, he won't be taking the defeat lying down!

It always was all about himself. As long as he was the reason behind her happiness he felt empowered with in-charge of her destiny. Yash was supposed to be grateful to him once he realized he was in love with Aarti...and now he isn't.

This bit stood out to me the most because of how poignant it is! You have in just a couple of sentences nailed Prashant's character in the head! A lot of people has been saying it since the Lalitpur sequence, that everything Prashant has been doing has selfish motives, and that theory has just been stamped and sealed with the last couple minutes and the precap of today's episode! The turn around that we witnessed stunned me because until yesterday we were debating on what his intentions are, and now we know that all our nightmares will be coming true! And the worst part is that Prashant doesn't want Aarti and Ansh back because he regrets what he has done, no, he wants them back to erase his loneliness and more importantly he wants them back because now someone else actually wants them! It's so sad how he did everything he could to delude himself that Aarti's happiness was still linked to him! By making Yash face his feelings he thought he was giving Aarti the ultimate gift, all the while making sure that she know it was courtesy of him (he knows Yash well enough by now to know that we would end up telling Aarti of his involvement in his realization of love, and then even that will be tainted for her)!

But he wasn't expecting it to backfire so royally on him because not only did his given advice fail, but Yash ended up giving all the credit to destiny! Yash's reunion with Aarti was fated even before the two had ever met and the part that came as the biggest blow to him was the fact that somehow destiny sealed its decision of bringing these two together while Aarti was still with Prashant! So it was like all that had happened between him and Aarti was predestined, meant to happen! And all of the sudden Prashant no longer considers the creator of his own game. He made the decision to leave Aarti and start a new life with Nida, he left her in the dust and never once looked back, and by doing this he felt like he had decided Aarti's fate, that despite not being in her life he had shaped it to be how it was! But things changed when he came back and realized that not only had she moved on but had also given that place in her heart that once belonged to him to someone else...he had lost his control over her! So what does he do? He befriends Yash and by giving him all these tips on how to make Aarti happy again, he feels like he is once again puppeteering her life, albeit indirectly this time!

However, the control has once again slipped! And so he decides that the only way to rectify this solution is to bring back Aarti and Ansh in his life again! I really can't get over his words in the precap, Ab Aarti aur Ansh ko mujhe waapis bula lena chahiye...Bula lena chahiye! What the heck is that even supposed to mean? Does he seriously think that Aarti is still just waiting for his one word to call her back and she will go running to him? He is fast losing grasp of reality and this delusion and self-centeredness will turn his character completely in the upcoming days!

And this got so much longer than I had anticipated! I am so sorry, I didn't realize I had so much to say!

@Maham: Thank you so much. I am so glad you could com here and put in your thoughts.🤗 I have so missed your insights and your comments whether it was my posts or the two stories that are on...Now that you have commented on TSR as well...it made my day...a double bonanza.

As for Prashant...he has been reading Aarti as per his convenience. All her rejections, anger, frustrations, followed by amiability he has taken as positive signs...signs that because of her adaptable and good nature, she has adjusted herself in this marriage but she is not really happy. How could she be when Yash never loved her? He thinks this is a marriage of convenience for her. So when he thinks he might die, he tries to make her life happy by guiding Yash to her...He becomes the messiah...But now he knows he will live, so he wants to be the direct source of happiness instead of a via media. Thus, now, Prashant Dubey thinks that it's time Yash gives back the family he had kept in his safekeeping because now Prashant is healthy enough to take care of his own...Aarti will throw him completely off balance when she gives him the reality check by holding Yash's hand and conveying to him directly that Yash is the one she wants...She might have been the reluctant bride, but she is a very happily married woman now.

@Indu: You can so easily go into the head space of these characters. I just loved the way you set your boundaries and explained it in so many beautiful words. Just in simple words I would say Prasahnt is now about to trespass into the territory of the river. Beware!

@Angel: Thanks...The river is bound to swell up in all fury the moment he realizes that the agitation of his brook is because of the dirty waters that the stream he befriended brought into their flow.😊

That was a brilliant take👏👏. The person who now thinks that Destiny tricked him with its game once thought he was the ultimate controller of all things (Destiny Maker as in here).

@Indu P's thinking about aarti is just an illusion

As you Quoted (The river is bound to swell up in all fury the moment he realizes that the agitation of his brook is because of the dirty waters that the stream he befriended brought into their flow. )

The above mentioned lines about the water and its flow remembered me the Quranic verses
about the unseen barrier between the salt and sweet water and i have mentioned them below.
Thanks for reminding those verses by the will of Almighty.

"He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together: Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress." (Al-Qur'an 55:19-20)

"It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: one palatable and sweet, and the other salty and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, and a partition that is forbidden to be passed. (Al-Qur'an 25:53)

Modern science has discovered that in estuaries, where fresh (sweet) and salt water meet, the situation is somewhat different from that found in places where two salt water seas meet. It has been discovered that what distinguishes fresh water from salt water in estuaries is a "pycnocline zone with a marked density discontinuity separating the two layers."2 This partition (zone of separation) has a salinity different from both the fresh water and the salt water.3

This phenomenon occurs in several places, including Egypt, where the river Nile flows into the Mediterranean Sea. These scientific phenomena mentioned in the Qur'an was also confirmed by Dr. William Hay, a wellknown marine scientist and Professor of Geological Sciences at the University of Colorado, U.S.A.

@Ash: Thank you... Prashant changed Aarti's course of life once...he wants to do a repeat so that he can reverse the earlier change...He can't play the destiny maker all the time, can he? Maybe after the jolt he is bound to get from Aarti, he'll realize that instead of fighting with destiny's decree, he should accept it and move on and learn to respect relationships.
