(06 Dec) Destiny's Decree

It is a puzzling thing. The truth knocks on the door and you say, go away, I'm looking for the truth. and so it goes away. Puzzling.

He thought he was the destiny maker, but destiny thought otherwise...why would it then not even put him in the picture? He was outside the frame right since the beginning...Nobody can say destiny was unfair. He was given the choice then as well...he chose to step out and let her walk the cliff. A wide chasm lay between them then too...Given the choice, he chose easy warmth over climbing the torturous cold climb with her. It was apparent that though she tried her best to include him, she was always alone in that relationship. Aarti had to cross the two people who introduced her to what love actually should be: Yash and Arpita. Destiny never let up there too...Aarti crossed Yash from his left ...and for a brief moment she was beside him on the left side...the rightful place of a wife. She led this climb, which had placed Yash before Prashant...but not before he had his time with Arpita. Only her warmth would push him to follow Aarti in that arduous climb...till then Aarti had to be alone.

He thought he was the destiny maker...but he knows nothing about the circumstances created by destiny when he was away, when the timing was just right for the other two, and things were not in his control. He couldn't control the inevitable...a brush of the shoulders...a brush of the fingers...again a brush of the shoulders...followed by a shower of petals. Destiny's sign...a divine accident... or a divine decree? Then...at that time...no one knew. Well... today destiny answered all...what Aarti had seen and understood earlier, the two men in her life understood today...the entire game plan of destiny. Difference is one embraced the verdict...welcomed it...and celebrated in its inception. The other chooses to rebel and fight against it...wants to conquer back all that he had abandoned in his quest for easy warmth.

He thought he was the destiny maker...that's why he played God in trying to give back Aarti her happiness by playing the puppeteer to Yash. He thought since he took away love from her life by removing himself, it is his prerogative to return it back in her life by planting love thoughts in the man she had to got to...because he left her. It always was all about himself. As long as he was the reason behind her happiness he felt empowered with in-charge of her destiny. Yash was supposed to be grateful to him once he realized he was in love with Aarti...and now he isn't.

He thought he was the destiny maker...but that picture gave him the reality check he was totally unprepared for. In one stroke, destiny snatched his past too away from him. Darn it...that was his life...he got her in there...he molded her...he made her want him...those times were his...those memories were his...those are the only things that didn't change when he changed everything else...They were supposed to be exactly where he left them, to go back to as and when he felt like...But now...this picture? How dare destiny mock him? Make a mockery of the only time in his life that had some meaning? How can destiny insinuate that he was always the accident and Yash the healer? That he stepped back that wintry morning so that she stepped ahead toward Yash in the sunshine? That this was how it was meant to be...always? He refuses to accept that there was always a reason that he didn't make it to Aarti's future and that that reason was not of his creation but destiny's.

He thought he was the destiny maker...but Yash ended up victorious on his sole merit. Yash was always the chosen one...and now Yash knows that fact...and is rejoicing in it...celebrating it...and welcoming it. He suddenly realized that Yash took away all the credit from him in realizing Aarti's love. Darn it...he was the one who gave him his love. He knew Aarti better than him...so he helped him...and now instead of his magnanimous gesture, Yash chooses to credit destiny? He won't let it happen...he will fight this destiny and show it that he can get Aarti and his son back in his life and erase the loneliness that he was left with. Yash doesn't know about Aarti's past...Me...that I exist...What if??? If he has to play dirty...well, right then, he will. He will snatch back his past...he will once again be the master of his destiny...he will once again be the destiny maker!!!!

That's it friends...More for laters. Especially the Yash realization part. Yash is at peace...he is not being unfair to Arpita after all...this was how it was meant to be...always...forever!!!!

Have a nice day.😊

prashant wants a another chance in his life

why now ???
when arati is happily adjusted in her second marriage

just because he sees arati getting so much attention and love from a man who is more mature, decent , good looking , well established than him
he is jealous of yash's fate
or we can say
he is angry and some where regret his past decisions

but prashant --- you cannot change fate

yash --- why you have to be so naive in front of prashant , who is a few days old friend

arati ---- should i say you " lucky girl " now
as you are getting attention of both guy
one from past and another the present 😆
seriously , arati -- you are trapped in between the two
you know whom to be with
but the lie dear ...

indu ----

darun analysis👍🏼
sab somay look forward thaki tomar analysis porar jonney
this the first seen your analysis outside DC
good for many

Indu, this was such a wonderful read!
The parallelism in structure throughout the entire write-up made everything sound like a lulling lament, Prashant's lament...
I love how you brought in the image of Prashant as the puppeteer, a "maker of destiny," pulling strings to control events and actions...But that honeymoon trip to Kodaikanal and the memories captured in the pictures that Yash has tell a different story altogether, and that conflicting question is one that I think many of us have at some point - are we creatures of free will, making our own destinies, or is destiny's hand guiding us even when we think it is not?
The last paragraph chilled me to the bone far more than the episode's precap did - and that's saying something about the power of your words! I am loving this transition in Prashant, where his desire to be in control of his life and the lives of others related to him is rearing its head more powerfully than ever...It is frightening, but the trajectory of thoughts is not hard to understand.
You're going to write more later? About Yash?! I'm so excited!

@Aditi: Thanks. that picture ignited the simmering embers of desire...desire to get back what was once his...He thinks his one mistake cost him his family, and he is conveniently rationalizing that he should be given one chance to correct that. He thinks it is within his rights that God should give him that one chance...What he will realize soon is that he only wants to run after a mirage, because if he assumes that for Aarti this is a marriage of convenience. then he is in for a rude awakening when Aarti shows him the door.

@Rutu:
Thank you...And if I may say, that was an incorrigibly impish remark. Actually, your teacher might find me very weird... 😆

@Borna: Thanks my friend. My posts seem incomplete without your comments. I so look forward to them. 😊

This night is momentous for these two men in Aarti's life. Henceforth, it is going to be Yash's "Aartiji has done so much for me...ab meri baari hai (now it's my turn)" versus Prashant's "I deserve one chance...and I will have my family back." Two contrasting realizations and two contrasting resolutions will clash: One will try to take away...and the other will protect fiercely. One will demand back the love he thinks is his by right...the love the other has already earned for an eternity. One will attack...the other will block. Prashant needs to take a good look at that picture...then he will know that Yash was always between him and Aarti...To reach Aarti, Prashant will have to go past Yash...an impossibility from now on, right?

Prashant is not evil...at least not yet. He is just very selfish and very self-centered. Everything is all about himself...He left Aarti/Ansh for his self-interests, and now he wants them back solely because they are a means to fill in his loneliness...He is justifying himself by saying that he needs a chance to rectify a mistake. How? By committing a sacrilege?

Awww, Indu! Can I say the same thing about your comments in response to my posts? Love you!
Very true. There are so many comparisons...Yash's relationship with Aarti is one of equality, of reciprocity...There is a desire to give rather than take...
@bold: Yes...And Prashant was the one who took no action when she wanted to move on. He was a roadblock that she overcame in her desire to go to the cliff's edge. Yash was always between Prashant and Aarti - and I absolutely loved your observation about how Aarti was on Yash's left side for a moment as well as in the picture. That goes back to the imagery of Ardhanarishvara and the significance of the wife as a man's ardhangini...Beautiful!
*sigh* That last paragraph in your reply...Agree, agree. I wonder what will happen to him once he decides to take those steps motivated by selfishness...He is a man who is still shackled to his past in quite a few ways but the thing is, he doesn't seem to want to break free at all. Being close to death naturally makes him reflect on the past and regret things, but he seems to be viewing the present and the future through a very distorted lens where his views and his desires matter more than those of others...and that is dangerous, very dangerous!

@Borna: Well said about Prashant. He gets a new lease in life...and he assumes that the day he left six years back, he put life on Pause...which he will just start playing again...and begin from where he left. Especially now...when he finds that fate falsified even that life. In the last few weeks, Aarti was responsible for giving a second life to both Yash and Prashant...yet, it is the former she wants to spend her life with. Her choice is going to prove destiny right and put a seal on Yash's convictions...Will Prashant take that lying down? The question is, How far is he willing to go to achieve what he wants? As you said, this thought process can only get dangerous...I am only scared for Ayu. Prashant wants Aarti and Ansh back...Where does Ayu figure in his schema of things????

@Fatima: Thank you so much.😊
