Da bone marrow is not a bone ,it is just a stem cell [please leave your wrong idea about that first]
In a BMT actually some type of stem cells are removed from the donor and then infused in to the recipient[ ].By giving general anesthesia these stem cells can easily harvested. Also this procedure is not much painful and this doesnot requires any stitches afterwards ].And depending on the donors health and reaction to the procedure the actual harvesting can be an outpatient procedure or can require 1-2 days of recovery in the hospital[this is why prashanth recovered fast].Also another option is to give certain drugs that stimulate the release of stem cells from the BM in to circulating blood and then from the donors arm stem cells are filtered out of the blood just like donating blood. Also CV's are not fools...

In television world, have they ever been medically accurate? No. 😆 I agree, it can be annoying that Prashant can go and drive right after a bone marrow transplant, but it's just a show. Don't worry about it.
They're not degrading Aarti's character. This is her character. And I'm loving it!
Hi mariya05, Please post this in the main forum in a separate topic😊.Originally posted by: mariya05
