PART 4
Yash has been waiting for Aarti and the kids to come back from their shopping expedition patiently for the past hour. He is very excited and feels like a little kid who is bursting with anticipation before opening Birthday presents! He just cannot wait to see Aarti's reaction when she comes into their room. He made sure the kids do not follow her into their bedroom. Pankaj Bhaiyya will take care of that.
Aarti was extremely tired after spending 3 hours shopping for clothes for the kids. They are growing up so fast. Palak and payal are developing their own taste for clothes and they did not get tired trying on multiple items of clothing. In the end she treated them all to Pizza, which was their favorite food.
She was almost out of the store when her eyes caught on a deep green shirt in the men's department. She pictured Yash in that shirt and became dreamy eyed. She wanted to gift that for him for Diwali and immediately paid for it and had it wrapped. She could not wait to see Yash's reaction when she gives it to him.
Aarti and the kids entered the house and saw everyone was in the living area except Yash and the kids very excitedly started showing off their new clothes to their grandparents and received lots of compliments on their choices. They ran into their room to do their homework and Aarti was also anxious to go find Yash and give him his present. As she was about to leave Maya stopped her and asked her who the gift was for. Aarti was hesitant to tell her. Bua was about to say something and Pankaj immediately went to Bua and said something to her and she went back to her room saying it is time for her prayers. Aarti was surprised that Bua let the matter drop.
Aarti went in search of Yash. She called out to him as she was entering their bedroom and realized that the lights were off and it was dark inside. As she stepped in she heard soft music playing and a candle was lit. As she took another step wondering what is going on another candle was lit. She took a few more steps and a few more candles were lit. She could not figure out what it is all about. She was about to turn the lights on and felt someone behind her.
Yash: Aarti, please don't turn the lights on.
Aarti: Yashji what is going on.
Yash: Be patient Aarti, you will find out in a few minutes.
Aarti: Yashji please, I am very tired and my feet hurt and I just want to get some rest.
Yash: I know Aarti, please come with me.
Yash slowly put his hands around Aarti's waist and led her in the dim light. She could not see him since he was behind her. She tried to turn to look at him but he stopped her. Yash's hand on her waist is doing funny things to Aarti, and she is unable to figure out what Yash is up to.
Yash stopped and Aarti felt him pushing her gently to sit in a chair. He lifted her feet with caressing hands and she felt her feet touch warm soothing water. She was so touched by his thoughtfulness that Aarti had tears in her eyes. No one has ever taken care of her this way. Yash started massaging her feet in the water and Aarti started objecting him touching her feet.
Yash: Aarti I told you we are equals in this relationship and I have a right to touch you anytime, just like you have a right to touch me anytime.
Aarti felt that he was encouraging her to touch him also. She still had the gift in her hands and gave it to him. She wanted to see his expression but the light was very dim. Yash left Aarti to soak her feet and came back in a few minutes blowing out a few candles and leaving just one lit. He was still standing behind her. There was a soft glow in the room and when Yash came in front of her she could only see a silhouette of him and was able to see that he was wearing the green shirt she bought for him. He looked just like she imagined him in it, like a Greek god! He lifted her feet out of the water and gently rubbed her feet dry with a towel. Aarti never felt so special in her life to anyone and she was so overwhelmed by her feelings that tears started rolling down her cheeks and she felt gentle, caressing fingers on her face flicking the tears away.
Yash was taken aback with Aarti's tears. He wanted to kiss her tears away and reassure her that he will always be there for her and he will never let anything or anyone hurt her. And when she laid her hands on his hands, he realized she was shaking and was worried. But Aarti's hand did not stop with his hands, she started caressing his arm, shoulders and finally reached his face and she cupped his face in both her hands and ran her fingers all over his face as if she is memorizing the feel of his features. She gently caressed his earlobes and Yash thought he was going to burst with excitement.
Yash gently holding both her hands lifted her out of the chair and holding her close started moving with her to the soft, romantic music playing. Aarti laid her head on his shoulder and felt totally content. She thought she now knows what being in heaven feels like.
Yash thought this was the perfect moment he has been waiting for to confess his feelings to her. He took one of hands and put it on his heart and said
Yash: Do you feel that Aarti, My heart is racing and you are responsible for it.
Aarti: What are you saying Yashji?
Yash: Yes Aarti, you do this to me every time I come near you. I have no control over this. And I don't want to control it. Do you know why Aarti?
Aarti: No Yashji. Please tell me. My heart is also racing to find out why.
Yash: All in good time Aarti. Be patient and you will find out soon.
Saying this Yash started caressing her hair which always turned him on. He felt like he could get lost in her hair. He then kissed the top of her hair and slowly moved his lips over her face and started whispering in her ear.
Yash: Aarti, I love your presence in my life. I love being around you, I love you for being a mother to Palak and Payal, I love you for giving me a new beginning in life, and I love everything about you.
Aarti was shaking all over and holding her breath for Yash to continue.
Aarti: Yashji please,
Yash: Shh, let me finish. I cannot think of my life without you Aarti. You mean everything to me. I cannot live without you. I am very, very much in love with you Aarti. I love you so much that I feel like my heart is going to burst. I loved you that night in Mumbai, but did not want to admit to myself. This baby, our baby was conceived out of love Aarti.
Saying this Yash tightened his embrace, and for the first time he felt at peace since their wedding. He started kissing her all over her face. Aarti started kissing him back with tears streaming down her face with happiness.
Aart: Yash I love you so much and never dreamed that you will ever love me in return. Please hold me tight and don't ever let me go!
They both held each other and stayed that way for a long time.
Finally Aarti broke the embrace and started pulling him towards their bed. Yash in a teasing voice said
Yash: Aarti, I am shocked, I never realized you are so aggressive.
Aarti: Yash, I waited a long time to be with you and make love with you. I cannot wait any longer. The last time we were together, I did not remember anything. This time I want to remember every minute and every second that I am with you. You make me whole Yash. Without you there is no Aarti.
Yash: Aarti, I love you and I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you and our children.
Yash and Aarti started their new life filled with lot of love and were eagerly waiting for the 6th member of their family. THE NEW BABY!!!!!!!!!!
