@Maham: Aha...I was waiting for your reactions. Each word of appreciation coming from you makes it all the more better and for us to be all the more responsible. As you can see there's a lot of DC in our vocabulary...just our manner of tribute to the family from where we get so much love and belongingness.🤗

Kadeen and Indu - DELICIOUS. I looove Victorian era novels, so this one is giving me goosebumps.

BTW, I really like the Maya characterization here. Was it Shubhika who mentioned Jane Austen? Funny - as I was reading Maya's letter I was thinking she aint BOA, she's Lady Catherine from Pride and Prejudice.

Great duet both of you - and do update soon.

Thank you for dropping in!!! I'm glad you liked it😃. I had a weakness for this era and British influence when I was younger, then switched to Indian culture🤣, so this is a ton of fun for Indu Di and I😆.

Just because of you I'm going to have to re-read Pride and Prejudice. I cannot remember Lady Catherine🤓

@Kadeen: I think I remember her she was either umm I forgot the the guy's name who liked elizabeth I think I think she was his sister who was jealous of Elizabeth and she was always cranky lyk Bua. Am I right Kdsubs1?😊

Kesha - close but not right.

Kadeen - you just failed Eng Lit kiddo!! Lady Catherine was Darcy's aunt. Her daughter was Anne - the girl Darcy was "supposed" to marry, or so LC thought since she and Darcy's mom, her sister had fixed the engagement when Darcy and Anne were babies. LC is the main villain in P&P if you can consider any one villainous. She is the one who meets Elizabeth towards the end and tries to force her to stay away from Darcy - and the light bulb glows in Lizzie's head that oh, Darcy likes me!! And she becomes determined not to go away from him if he does come after her again.

Ah - one of my fav books so I can start rambling on it.

Reall I could've sworn it was his sis anyway I read tht book since I was 10yrs and i'm 16 now😆

Di, when I started reading the classics I was about 8/9. Most of those books are now a distant memory.😆 I can barely remember Wuthering Heights or Far from the Maddening Crowd. Pride and Prejudice seems like a sweet memory😆. And now I don't have time to read the classics because they are such big tomes and I don't use my e-library as much.😕 Is she the one who kept back some letter that Elizabeth was supposed to get?❓ And later caused that massive misunderstanding between Liz and Darcy?

LOL! Well I only finished my part today and Indu Di's comp might still be down. So who knows what's going to happen?🤗

And P&P I'm going to have to reread. I remember enjoying the feelings greatly. Come to think of it, I only read for the feelings, not the the theme or plot of a book🤣🤣. But I don't read craperoo🤢, they annoy the craperoo out of my sensibilities.
