If she was rude towards the elder Scindiyas I would understand, because they are oppressing her, but Vidhi has always been sweet and nice, accommodating Paridhi's ambitions as best as she could, so I felt it was really mean of Paridhi to be rude to her. As for them not having goals and ambitions, that's very judgmental of Paridhi because not all women have the same goals. Not all women want to work out of the house, because some genuinely enjoy the traditional role of women in the household. Vidhi and Aarti do not want to work out of the house but that does not mean they have no goals or ambitions. Career-oriented women should not be so quick to judge others like that, because the ambitions of housewives are different. They are in the realm of family life and there's nothing wrong with that, just as there's nothing wrong with having a career.
I would love her flawed character if she wasn't so rude nowadays, but I can't stand characters like her who look down on women who do not work or have the same education as them. Then what is the point of having education if you cannot behave in an educated or respectable manner? I've always had a major tiff with such women so maybe that's why I hate Paridhi right now.🤔 While she has the freedom to have a career, she should also understand that marriage comes with responsibilities and she cann leave the house 24/7 for her job. She should be with the family too or else relationships break apart.
Yeah, it seems to me like she's taking out her pent up frustration at the elder Scindhia's on everyone including Vidhi. I guess it all adds up overtime. It is judgmental of Pari, but if you step into her shoes, all the women in the house cook, clean, chase after their husbands/kids/inlaws. They seem to have no other role. I guess Pari doesn't understand that some people might be happy doing this stuff, so she thinks that they're very oppressed and that makes her feel like she's better than them? If many people were in Paridhi's situation (having the same personality that Pari has) I think that they would actually do the same thing. So as annoying as Paridhi might get to some people, you have to admit her character is very realistic.
It's quite interesting to see some contrasting views from two people who live in the same house. Paridhi believes that women should be independent, should have a job and should be able to support themselves, whereas Gayatri thinks that women should be a typical stay at home housewife.
It also has a lot to do with how they're brought up. Pari was brought up in a laid back house where she grew up with high expectations. Gayatri's been living her whole life as a housewife (I have no idea how she was prior to her marriage), so she believes that women should stay at home and work.
