Samanaaa CONGRATSSS

You are such an integral part of this forum and more importantly our DC and I can't imagine a PV fandom without you! I love you and your brilliant, brilliant takes that makes the episodes even more amazing and breathtaking than they were originally meant to be!

I'll try to come up with a few questions later, but till then enjoy being on the hot seat! Can't wait to go through all your answers and learn a little bit more about you 😃

Truly Truly Well Deserved 👏👏
I have already told you infinite times , what a humungous fan I am of yours. You are incredibly talented and one of the most beautiful writer I have ever in my life seen. 😊

Wow! Thank you! 😃

Questions for you 😃
1. Why did you start watching PV? GC was in it.
2. Do you watch any other show?Right now I watch AB and DABH
3. Your fave bollywood actor and actress : Madhuri Dixit and Saif Ali Khan
4. Who is your best friend in IF? There isn't just one.
5. Do you dislike anybody here? Whom? Nobody in particular but I dislike people who make instigatory posts for their own entertainment. 😡
6. Name 5 people on IF whom you truly adore. I can't do these questions because naming only 5 people makes it sound like I don't adore the others, which is not true.. If I adore you, I am sure I have made it apparent at some point...you know who you are. 😉
7. Do you think any other actress could have done Aarti's role better? The point is moot because even if another actor could have played it better, Kratika has played it so well that she is Aarti. I can't even imagine any one else in the role!
8. GHSP or PV? That is like asking Yash, Arpita or Aarti? 😕 At first I would not have hesitated for a second to say GHSP but I am growing to love PV in an entirely different way as time goes on. And I would probably never have watched PV if I hadn't loved GHSP...so it is all connected and I can't compare?
9. If you are given a chance , what question would you like to ask both GC & KS? Is PV your best show yet?
10. Choose 10 IF members and define them in 5-10 words. Also, suggest IF-usernames for them.
Jyo (Jyoptimist): Gotta love her positivity and her ability not to get worked up even in the most tense of situations!
Indu (LaVieEnRose): Our resident poetess who can make something you thought was the height of poetry, even more poetic.
Red (KeepitReel): She will tell it like it is, whether the characters have reached the heights of stupidity, or whether it is genuinely romantic.
Maham (Gimlet): She takes a tiny point and goes deep into it, be it in her writing her VMs or her banners, there is a focus on giving even the tiniest details depth.
Shubhika (ColouredGlasses): Does fabulous colour symbolisms and sees the beauty in AarYa romance.
Angel (LastLaugh): No matter how much we dissect the episode, Angel always has the last laugh by throwing us for a toss with his comic!
Borna (Detailer): She is able to take the tiniest nuances of the story and the actions of the characters and bring meaning to them!
Deeps (photoshop): She comes without fail to give us freezes of all the best expressions, moments and ahem views in the episode...
Mansi (focuspoint): I miss her and hope she is doing ok, but I always loved her ability to concentrate the whole episode on one point
Kirthi (Balanced): I love how she always manages to take everyone's views and come out with a balanced response that sort of incorporates lots of things.

Phew! 🤢

Thank you!

I have only two simple questions

10 pts why you like PV and this forum - 10 each

PV:
1. The way the story is written with layers and loops and mostly lots of depth
2. The way each character is etched to perfection
3. The sets!
4. Aarti's night sarees
5. The actors are of a high calibre, from RD to the leads
6. Each scene, look and dialogue holds meaning. Nothing is random
7. The MUSIC!!!
8. The accuracy of psychology as shown on the show
9. The concept is simple but dealt with in a deep and meaningful way
10. GC is a thing of beauty and a joy forever!

PV Forum:
1. Maturity! Nobody gets into needless fights and people actually ignore instigators
2. Peaceful fandoms.
3. Respect for actors' personal lives and minimal comment on it
4. The sheer amount of creativity in every form!
5. I love the people here
6. The DC is like my home and I can't seem to go a day without it
7. The seriousness with which we can discuss, and then switching to fun in the same breath
8. The differing opinions. Most forums make naysayers feel like they are not welcome, which is not the case here.
9. The discussion is pretty much only about the show
10. We have a fab development team!

5 pts what you dont like about Pv and this forum too- 5 each
This is tougher! 😆

PV:
1. Bua brings what feels like unnecessary negativity to the show
2. Shobha can get a little preachy
3. The divorce lie
4. The focus is a lot more on Aarti's perspective which sometimes annoys me
5. Yash can be so inert sometimes (but this is not really something I don't like because it is his "before" stage)

PV Forum:
1. The fact that it is completely addictive and I want to spend all day here instead of doing my work or talking to people who are in the same house/room...and that's all really!

good luck to you and congrats once again

It's always such a pleasure to read your pieces and note the honesty of word weave that oozes through them. Punar Vivah sure takes on an altogether different meaning when the co-founder of Dragon Club comes out with her analysis...I am so proud of you.🤗

Since it is the norm, I'll just bother you with one question:

During my initial days in DC, I used a metaphor for you and your analysis...after which we started interacting regularly. Do you remember what I am talking about?

Thank you so, so much! Your words mean a lot and finding a friend and "PV soulmate" in you has been one of the highlights of my PV experience! 🤗

There is no doubt that this show wouldn't be half as enjoyable without our DC being a receptacle and processor for all our rag tag thoughts!

I am sorry, but I don't remember the metaphor. I even trolled through some old threads (which is really fun, btw because a lot of what we thought is coming true, only very much slower) but I came up with nothing. Forgive me and refresh my memory? 😛

Thank you!

And finally I get the opportunity to grill u 😛😆...will start my grilling session with starters .. that is halke phulke questions first 😛😆
Haila! Here we go! 😕😆
1) What is your most favourite and least favourite scene in PV ? Why ?
I think my most favourite scene would have to be the whole hosepipe sequence minus the flashback. It had everything I want to see out of this show, AarYa romance, the kids playing happily and Gayatri revealing her true desire of seeing her child and grandchildren happy. Least favourite was when Aarti kept jumping on Ansh when she was crying and covering him in kisses when he was asleep. I always wondered how the poor kid slept through that!
2) Describe a scene in 50 words which u will love to see between AarYa in future ?
I really want a scene where Yash has to go to the wedding of one of his clients and the client says please bring your wife along too. At first Aarti feels awkward because she doesn't think Yash wants her to come and says no but the kids and the elders all tell her that she has to go with Yash. Then I want Palak and Payal to "get Aarti ready" while Ansh stands guard outside. Yash comes when it is time to leave and he tries to go in the room to call Aarti but Ansh stops him and says she is still getting ready. Yash tries to forcibly go after some time, getting more and more irritated when Palak sticks her head out the door and says two more minutes. And just when Yash is about to lose it, Aarti emerges, not paying attention to him, telling the kids to be good for their thayji...but looking gorgeous and Yash's whole expression changes an he stares at her in awe. 😍 Then Aarti says, "chalen?" quietly and Yash snaps out of it and they go, with the kids giggling in the background!
3) What is that one thing about PV which u like the most ?
Tight script!
4) Describe yourself in 50 words .. About your personality , nature ..etc etc ?
OooKaaay. I don't really know where to start but I guess I am a fairly laid back and happy person who has a lot more fun inside her own head than in trying to interact with other people. I love learning about new things and I like to think I am on my way to becoming Renaissance Man, know something about everything.
5) What r your hobbies other than dragon club surfing ? 😛😆
Reading, writing, painting/drawing, making jewelry and clothes, cooking
6) What is your favourite food and drink ?
My favourite food is butter chicken, when it is well made and drink...there is this place in Bangalore called Corner House and they make this amazing fresh strawberry milkshake with cream. That. 😃
7) What is your take on all the Fan grp wars we hv witnessed in our previous forum ?
In retrospect I think it was the lack of professionalism on the part of the production house. They released too much information about exactly how the show was made and what was going on behind the scenes, like when an actor was sick or on leave, so that people could then speculate further and put blame on one party or another. The PH would use this as an excuse for the script being bad in certain places, which I feel was covering up for their own ineptitude.

In addition, the show itself fell in quality but people liked the lead pair so much that they constructed this FF of real life to keep the "magic" and intensity of the experience alive. And because the show itself became only a part of the experience, given all the material the PH people kept releasing, people talked about other stuff more than the show and everything went haywire. Fans will be fans and that show had a lot of young, passionate ones. You can't blame them, but you can point a finger at the people who gave fuel for the fire.

I realise this after witnessing the professionalism of the Mittals. We as viewers are given so much to talk about in the show. We have no idea who went on leave when, nor do we care because the quality of the script is never lost.

8) Your all time favourite TV show ?
Dharma and Greg. 😃

9) Your all favourite movie ?
Aandhi
10) Your all time favourite bollywood actor/actress and tv actor/actress ?
B - Madhuri/Saif and T - GC/KS and DD 😛
Thats it for now ... my main course is coming up once u answer these 😛
Oh lord, what have I gotten myself into? 😕😆

Since you suggested I ask a question, I think I'm going to ask at least one

Please write a 400 word analysis that compares your favourite 5 novels to PV so far explaining how similar or dissimilar it is or if there are any random story elements that reminds you of PV so far?😆

Hold it one more question, since you never comment on my Comic Strips but just like some of the installments, just want to know what you think of it?😃
