I am so glad you did decide to watch the show because surely my forum experience would be incomplete without you!

Here are some questions for you madame 😉:

1) What's your favourite colour? Green

2) Favourite dish/cuisine? Butter chicken and ghee rice/Italian

3) Favourite Hollywood show? Tellywood (Hindi) show? (I couldn't for the life of me translate the one Deeps mentioned LOL) Dharma and Greg/and right now PV is my favourite Hindi show. The one Deeps mentioned is Afsar Bitiya. 😆

4) Reason you are watching Punar Vivah? Or since I already told you the very first one.. reason you continued after the initial episode? Shobha's speech to Shagufta which heralded the tone of the rest of the show, not ignoring the biases of society but dealing with them head on.

5) One thing you love most about PV? About Gurmeet? About Kratika? The story, script and the subtle way they deal with important issues. What don't I love about Gurmeet? But most of all the things he can do with his eyes. And as a person I love how motivated and passionate he is about his work and where he wants to be. And Kratika, I love that she is sort of an endearing dork in real life but once she starts acting, the maturity in her is plain for all to see! I love that she doesn't take herself to seriously but takes her work seriously!

6) One thing you love about me? LOL JOKES! (Or you could answer this question if you wannaaa 😳)
Just one? My Zster! You know you are the only person I know who can hyperventilate in the written word! 😆 I just love your writing because I can hear you talking (even though I have no idea what you sound like) as I read it because it is so animated, and it is always straight from the heart. I also love that you are my clone and we both have brothers who stole our fingers! 🤣

7) If you could write ONE scene for PV, what would it be? (describe in few words how the scene would go)

Ooh fun! I want a scene with the whole family of five, where Yash and Ansh are exercising and practicing karate and Palak and Payal come in and ask Yash to teach them too. Ansh responds that this is only for boys and not something girls can do. Yash agrees with him, just to tease the girls and tells them to go play with their dolls. The girls go running to Aarti and she comes in and asks what is going on... and tells Yash and Ansh that girls can do anything! So Yash and Aarti end up hand-wrestling with an intense eyelock. They are equally matched because this is gundi bhabhi we are talking about, until Yash winks at her, she loses focus and he beats her. And then while Aarti is fuming he can tell Palak and Payal, come I will teach you exercises so you don't lose like your mom...😉😆

8) Your ideal man? =p I know you said you're going to be a spinster.. esp after watching someone like MSK crash all dreams of having a 'perfect man' .. but still I'd like you to try and answer this one hehehe ;)
No problem. I can totally describe my perfect man, I just don't believe he exists. 😆 He must be intelligent, self assured, secure, open minded, liberal, have a healthy sense of humour, be able to laugh at himself and appreciate life (in the sense, be ready to DO things). These are the essentials. It would be a special bonus if he was over 6 feet tall, had light eyes with a darker complexion (I love that combination!) and a swimmer's body (they are all lean and have that V-shaped torso going). ☺️

9) What made you start watching Hindi serials?

They have that quality which Hindi movies lost a few years ago, that distinctive style of storytelling that is all Indian, including sincerity, sugar syrup, melodrama and music. I just love that I can get that in half an hour doses every day!

10) What is one thing you'd like to change about this world that we live in?

I wish people could see each other as people and not as religions, ideologies and orientations. Every human being is so similar that it wouldn't be hard to understand each other if we just saw the other person, as another person.

Congratulations! Needless to say, well-deserved.

Your ability to see, feel, and analyse every aspect of relationships and express them so beautifully at such a young age is simply remarkable. I am amazed at how every post of yours has a new angle to the characters and their inter-relationships.
