@Mansi: I too am reluctant to believe that this will backfire with Palak, simply because the CVs have made it a point never to hurt the kids too much in the name of the story. Even when Ansh was kidnapped, they made it a point to throw a Manju in there to ensure that the necessary drama played out in the Aarti-Yash relationship but did not affect Ansh too much. Similarly, I think here, Palak will be happy with what Aarti does but it will affect her and Yash's relationship negatively, the same way the kidnapping did at first.

Ansh's kidnapping was about Aarti letting go of her unhealthy obsession so that Ansh could have a healthy relationship with Yash. If we draw that parallel, then Yash's unhealthy obsession that is holding Palak back from a relationship with Aarti is not, as in Aarti's case, the attachment and possessiveness towards the child herself, but his fierce protection of Arpita's memory, treating her as though she was still alive. I feel like the drama will unfold between Yash and Aarti over Arpita's identity while Palak actually comes closer to Aarti as a result of this.

Are u talking about PV? I don't think PV has moved away from its core storyline in anyway. In fact this is one show which has always stuck to its core storyline. This is Punar Vivah. and its a remarriage where both parties are parents. and I love how the cvs never lost their focus from the children. Before AarYa fall in love, its a must that they become good parents to all the 3 children. First they dealt with Yash-Ansh relation, now they r dealing with Palak-aarti.

Well yes i am talking about pv because the story was about yash and aarti two broken individuals starting a new life and finding happiness for kids so it meant yash being yash and aarti being aarti but now she is pretending to be arpita which is illogical according to me

@Samana: I see your point ...
If I get your argument, I think Aarti would probably do something that would please Palak but anger Yash ... ?
For example Aarti may dress as Arpita and bring a cake for Palak and say "See your Mama has asked me to bring this cake for you so that this time your birthday is good ..." and Palak may well buy that story and get closer to Aarti (as a chosen one from her Mama), but Yash may not like this method of trying to replace Arpita in Palak's life?
Just trying out a possibility!

ok i havent seen the epi yet ...but heres my take on it

Aarti will dress up as a fairy=arpita ...and tell palak fairies stay with god and only come down on earth once in a while and so the fairy has come down to wish palak but has to go back to god ...and this is the only way I can think that palak / payal will be happy and so will the rest of the family ...

dont know if i made any sense or this idea was put out before then sorry

@Mansi: That is exactly what I mean! Or I was thinking that perhaps since the theme is fairytale, Aarti might pitch Arpita as a fairy/angel and dress up as her for the party. Another possibility I see is that Palak might actually break down on seeing Aarti dressed as Arpita, which Yash might get angry at, but which is ultimately good for Palak as she needs to let her grief out. Something like that anyway...

That sounds very sweet! I hope something like that happens. I do think the theme has something to do with Aarti's plan. 😊
