Time for some discourse with my readers!

Once again, I have to say that I am very humbled.

AmeenaForEva - darling, firstly I adore how you are one of the first people who always comment for me. Thank you!

MelodiousDreams - thank you for the warm welcome! I'm so glad you were enthralled from the beginning! I had this idea for a while, and kept toying with it in my head (especially during the kidnapping track when i was so down with the plot) and finally deiced to put pen with paper.

I included Aarti's prescriptive later on. Although i love her characterization in PV, I have been wondering about her real character's past so long. I thought a FF about her struggles would be awesome.

Also, your long comments! I will try and sound as least vain as possible, but i adore that! When i had thoughts of writing this story, i wasn't sure how the reception of a sadder (initially) tale would be. Hopefully you will not cry during all my updates! I am hoping to keep the temperature soaring (on both levels) with this FF *wink*

DMKJ_VB: Thank you! you are usually one of the first to comment and well, and it makes me so happy! To answer your question, I did have an IF earlier, but i do not remember the ID or the password.. I just had it so i could browse photos, and then stopped coming on IF completely because of lack of time. These days i am back so i can read up on the Dragon Club here while you guys watch the show live, and i am stuck at work! It keeps me going during the afternoon lull at work =) I have much to learn on writing, but i am so glad you like what little talent i have

First of all, you have a lovely name! I hope you don't mind me calling you Fari, then 😊.

The warm welcome is well-deserved! As you may have noticed from the many people out here who have thanked you for speaking up and joining us, your thoughts are very much appreciated! Hope you'll join us at the DC as well! 😃

Haha, I am an emotional person and thanks to Kratika and the script, connecting with Aarti on an emotional level took me all of 2 promos, an interview, and the first two episodes! I see the same thing happening here. If I can visualize the actors of a show effortlessly in fanfics, it is a sign of a job well done! The same thing happened with Mira's FF, too. It's such a pleasure to read such stories that deviate from the show as we know it, but have some common threads linking the show's characters to the characters of these FFs. I may get very emotional, but I'm sure I'll be swept away with every update. I can tell already that this is going to be a major highlight for me every day!

The "sadder tale" point is a good one, but you know, that is all the more intriguing! And PV as it is has shades of the same...It's a story of hope, moving on, finding happiness; your story seems to be very much in the same vein from what I can tell so far. Very sensitively handled, and I love stories like that.

Your response to Mamita: Thank you SO much for a story that is going to explore as much of Aarti's past as Yash's past and present in the form of Arpita. I've been curious about Aarti's past in the show also. I hope when the time comes, we'll come to know. Hopefully that will be when Yash will care enough to know about her. Oh, and that reminds me, I hope the same is applicable to your story, but I'm not one to put demands on writers. I know how difficult that can be.

Your responses to Z and Mishti: Ooh, and now I want to meet Arpita ASAP! 😆 Never thought I'd be saying that, but there you go.

PS - Watch out for me and Maham (Allbut1) as the story progresses! The two of us are definitely going to leave longgg comments - and I daresay Z and Mamita might, but I can't speak for them 😆 EDIT: By the way, just realized that Mira took down her fanfic...If you really wanted to, maybe you'd be able to piece together the story just from reading comments, since Maham and I had a blast discussing/analyzing it!

That's a beautiful name...😳 I am so glad you decided to join I-F again cuz we could have lost out on such a talented writer such as you. 😃 I love your story because of the intricacies that you have delved into. Such an insight into a character always intrigues me. And this story is focusing on Aarti - my favourite character from the show... so I was bound to love it. 😆 Add to that the fact that your FF is a visual treat for me because I can actually see it in front of me. 😳

Coming to Mira's FF, I could have PMed you the link, but she took that down. You won't be able to read anything cuz she's edited that out. But still I will PM you the link so that you can read the beautiful comments there by Maham and Borna. They used to dissect every part of it religiously. 😆

I promise this isn't going to deviate much from the story! Just had to respond to a few things...

@Z: Yay, will be looking forward to more long comments from you as well! This is such a beautifully crafted story and such pieces always end up automatically bringing out long posts!

@Mamita: I love what you said about how this story's focus on Aarti (my favorite character too!!!) is part of the reason why you were bound to love this. I feel the same way! The intricacies also have been sketched out so nicely with subtle details. It's like we're being encouraged to see for ourselves what the characters are like without being explicitly told. That's what the show is like, too, so it's no wonder I instantly felt a sort of familiarity when I started reading this.

LOL at "religious dissection" of Mira's FF! I just went back and started reading through a few of our comments and I can't say that you're wrong there! Haha! And now I can't wait for the round table discussions we're probably going to end up having here since you're also joining in!

PS - I can't stop looking at your avi of Kratika! SO sweet! Definition of "adorable" right there! Did you make that avi yourself?

Actually back then, I was busy with my exams due to which I could catch up with Mira's FF only on my phone... I was dying to post comments on her updates, reply to you and Maham... But I had to control myself so hard. I remember every Friday she used to update her FF and I literally did a jig and jumped up and down on my bed when I got to it. 😆 They were such a sweet distraction from my study routine. But now, I am free, so ya, I am on board.

@Bold: The intricacies and the detailing along with the imagery of an FF appeal to me the most. It is like the writer can see all that is happening on a screen and all he/she does is describes that scene to us with the perfect choice of words, so that we can see that same scene running through his/her mind. And Fari has accomplished that brilliantly. I can see Kratika and Gurmeet acting out that scene in front of me. Aahhh... AarYa and GurIka will be the death of me someday. 😍

Coming to my avi, ya I made it myself cuz that short burst of laughter fromKratika is so endearing, so adorable, I wanna watch it all the time. It makes me smile without me even knowing it. I just look forward to every little Kratika interview. She is so spontaneous and like a bright sunshine amidst the dull surroundings. 😃

The elements that appeal to you the most about fiction are the same ones that appeal to me! That is undoubtedly the main reason why I was pulled to this story in the first place - because of Fari's writing and the effects of diction that flows and paints a picture that ends up being an all-too-real setting in which our lead actors can bring these characters to life again. (Yep, Yash-Aarti and Gurmeet-Kratika are going to be the death of me also - because of the show, these sorts of stories, and their offscreen footage!)

Last bit of off-topic stuff from me today: If I end up using that avi later on, you'll know that I couldn't resist it for all of the same reasons you listed! 😃 She is our ray of sunshine, just like Aarti is!
