@Mira, you are right. I watched this movie when I was a kid and this song stuck in my head forever. I still think it is one of the most romantic songs ever. I can so see Yash meaning these words when he looks at Aarti with love in his eyes. 😍

Posting the lyrics. It gives me goose bumps. If I knew how to make a VM I so would have made one on this song visualizing Yash's eyes going all gooey and soft when he looks at Aarti. 😳

yes it's a beautiful song. One of my dad's favorites. Have you read/heard the original poem on which the song is based? it's even more amazing. It's by Sahir Ludhianvi...I discovered it when I went through an angsty urdu poetry phase...😆
