Yash-Arpita has lots of dialogue and words exchange between each other but still one can see the connection is lacking where either Arpita is preaching some of her ideals to Yash or mayb Yash is demanding disco and Arpita is saying no 😆,..
Whereas in Yash-Aarti relationship , noone is trying to preach anything or force anything ..but still one can see the telepathy connection during the hand-print and the suitcase opening scenes 😉😛

Jyo: (bold) This is what I love about your takes. You keep it simple. Yash fell in love with the idea of love when he fell for Arpita...simple. His falling for Aarti will be as real as it can get...simple.😊

@InduG64 : 😊...About not about mincing words...just that it sort of offends me that everyone has an eye and a finger into Yash's 'physical needs'. Mama Scindia alludes to it when she talks to Aarti right before the lift and walk scene, Prateik with his pranks, and now Papa Scindia..When the day breaks, one might have Panku and Vidhi join the bandwagon. And so, the "stern" warning.😡

@All : Some really heavy stuff written today. I lost my place in the whole thread and hence have to almost begin over to follow the flow.

But in sum, what I found is that there were several thoughts relating to ArYa soul mate connections, role of their past spouses, ArYa's encounters, etc.being repeated over from past several AUs, and that to me, is a positive. It means that all viewers/members seem to arriving independently to same or similar conclusions about ArYa's romance. To me, it points to the tight grip on the continuity that the PV team has, the consistencies in the characterizations, story and the acting. Kudos to the CV team is in order! 👏

Since everything has been sliced and diced in the episode, I wanted to see if anyone else thinks that the ring that Yash is wearing on his right pinkie is the same one that Arpita was wearing in the FB scene?

Indu, the Scindia's have taken to calling Aarti Arpita because of some twisted mindset of theirs, so are you taking your revenge by renaming Arpita Aarti? Naayi Aarti, Purani Aarti 🤣

Your referred to Arpita as Aarti in your previous post as well, so I felt like being a little cheeky 😉 Blame the late hour for this totally random post, my brain has shut down 🥱

Here is a random thought of mine. Aarti must be a Virgo and Yash must be a Scorpio. Now I am going to have fun running their compatible chart when I watch future episodes.😆

@AngelDark...: What a fun exercise!

In my opinion, it is either a Water-Earth combination (one such that you mentioned) or an Air (Yash)-Fire (Aarti) connection. No other combination would be apt.

For fun's sake, I bet on the Air-Fire connection...

I completely agree on Yash and Arpita. There is something distinctly "off" about their relationships. And the most interesting thing is that this is a feeling that has been creeping up on me, not one that I felt from the get go. Yash's obsession is concentrated on Arpitas physical form to a large degree. This points to a lot of what people have been discussing that he loved the idea of her and the idea of love more than the person, Arpita because did he really know her?

Even in yesterday's flashback I got the feeling that Yash was almost treating Arpita like a doll that he dresses up for his own entertainment. Her discomfort didn't seem to matter to him that much. This is so sharply disconnected with how intuitive he is about Aarti's every slight expression of dissatisfaction. The Yash in the flashback is so different from the present Yash, not only because he is happy but he seems to be on his own ride, completely confident that everything is perfect.

He reminds me a lot of Prateek actually, who was disappointed with Paridhi for putting her comfort above his pleasure (the horror!).

But another point to be noted is that we are seeing different phases in their relationship in no chronological order. That could be what is unsettling us too. Yesterday's flashback was a year into marriage while the "stay with my kids" one was more recent, given that Payal and Palak were already born. In that one we already saw a much more mature Yash, though he still struggles with possibilities that everything will not be ok.

I think fatherhood was a turning point for Yash in terms of maturity and realising his own capacity to love.

@Samana : When I first heard Yash telling Arpita that he's going to look for someone in a micro-mini at the discotheque, I went...wha...? And as you point out, his trying to dress her up for his pleasures, it sort of jars with what we see of him in the present.

But the thread of consistency is his absolute comfort with the physical - his encounters with Aarti (practically every), his comfort level in wearing a towel (the only time he is embarrassed is when Prateik sees him).

To me, he is more on the physical plane than what we know of Arpita. Yes, he is bit like Prateik- young, in love, completely pleasure seeking on the physical plane. And hence, as I mentioned previously, they don't seem to be on the same page...

Samana: You have said in exact words what others are alluding to. Yash with Arpita and Yash with Aarti are two different persons. His behavior with Arpita gives rise to another observation...Why is Arpita playing along? It's almost as if she gives in to his whims because she doesn't want to see an unhappy and disappointed Yash and wants him to stay all happy, happy. There's a hint of condescending love instead of deferential love...

I think he grew up...in a way... after she passed away...just as a child matures and learns to be independent with the passing away of a parent.
