The Gayatri Mantras:
A little boy and his mother sharing moments on a railway platform...a vision of Madonna with her infant...a picture-perfect moment of bonding...This was Gayatri's first look of Aarti and Ansh, and this maternal side of Aarti is what made Gayatri decide in Aarti's favor. But, hold on, where you and I would have looked at this display of pure love, which is shared between only a mother and child, with lump in our throat, with misty eyes, with a smile to behold such a view, Gayatri's look was purely clinical..."This is perfect. This is what I want for my grand-daughters. This love." She looked at Aarti's love for Ansh as a commodity... a commodity that can be bought and traded with. Gayatri tried to push this belief forward when the marriage was still being negotiated, but failed, mainly due to Yash's conviction. Her belief took a backseat but didn't die. She would grumble about Aarti's love for her son now and then and was openly hostile to Ansh. In her eyes, Ansh's presence is a barrier to the welfare of her grand-daughters. And with the marriage over, she feels, she has earned the authority to play God and take a decision to separate the mother and son...that was her mantra to begin with, and she wants to follow it through now to its end. The bua only added fuel to the fire. The question is, What kind of maternal bone she has in her? It'll be only ironic when her own son negates her twisted thinking.
Another mantra was initiated today...play one bahu against the other. Gayatri is on home ground here. This is her sphere, where even her husband doesn't interfere. So, very conveniently, for a moment, Aarti becomes the favored one, and Pari, the pariah...Gayatri will constantly play this game...using one's strength/weakness against the other's. Isn't that how it has been done for like eternity? Isn't this how you continue to hold the baton in the family? She is only following this unwritten, unspoken mantra that is passed on from generations...She has such beautiful bahus, who are each individually different, yet are respectful and good human beings. She can so easily envelope them in her maternal fold and guide them and mold them into the family the right way...but no, she has to follow the mantra, you see...!!!!!
Aarti's Corner: A lonely corner. They are all conniving to snatch away her only life source, her son. What more has she to lose? Nothing. In that one moment, when she vent out her feelings, her pathos, her sense of betrayal, her agony, she stood alone...a beaten down, defeated version, a caricature, of a woman who, just yesterday, was a lively, spirited, vibrant human being. You knock the life out of a person and you expect that person to be happy, right ma & papa dubey? And you say you are doing all this for her happiness?😡You better set the wrong right now...with or without Yash's help.
That's it friends. I am really craving for some happy times now...😊 Have a nice day.
