In the first promo, we see Aarti and Yash looking at each other with so much hostility. We know what Aarti's problem is with Yash now, ie the slander of his character by Mansi. But what reason does Yash have to be so angry at Aarti?

@Samana: We got a glimpse today Why. The kangan, the name change---he'll probably conclude that Aarti is trying to usurp his Arpita's place by association

And I am most curious about the 4th promo and what that could possibly mean, because I don't think we have had any hints in that direction yet and it is the first promo that showed any connection or understanding between the two, minus the trademark awkwardness.

I think Indu's probably right about the first promo...As for the third one...I interpreted Aarti's discomfort differently, but your point could also be valid...I really hope my interpretation is what the promo is actually hinting at, though...The body language in that promo is much more relaxed - I couldn't help laughing at Aarti's expression when she looks up from adjusting her pallu to find that Yash is still looking at her. Kratika did a very quick little jerk of the head, almost as if to show that Aarti was taken by surprise at that point (or at least that's how I see it). And the contrast I pointed out in my post about how she's facing him instead of turning away from him is an interesting one...That jumped out at me instantly when I was watching the actual episode. There's not much of a frenzied panic on Aarti's part in the promo...the comparatively calm way she reacts to his presence is intriguing...Maybe the sari adjusting was just something Aarti did to make sure she wouldn't look at Yash again - of course, that attempt only lasted for a second! Her expressions are so cute there! Kratika has such luminous eyes...And I love her hair, too! 😆 KS Appreciation!

I feel like I need to go and read Maham's comments about the promos that I asked her to post in the GC-KS AT...But I'm way too tired to do so now...

Hello Beautiful People 😊

Have been away from IF since Sunday 😔

Aah! The hardest thing to do now! 😉

Last four days I was busy assimilating the beauty of Himalayas 😃

Had absolutely NO access to the Internett 😔

Anyways!😃

I did catch up with PV 😃

I consider it as my achievement for Numerous reasons! ☺️

I feel Im too late for the usual analysis!

Good lord! 😔 I had sooo much to write!

What an absorbing week it has been in PV

I aspired to write a Thesis on Monday's Epi 🥺

Be That As It May!

I think I won't survive without writing something about GC

And

My experience whilst watching PV amidst dozens of relative ☺️

After the exhausted Monday I was all worn out by continuous tracking & camping and was impatiently waiting for the clock to stuck at 10:30. Everybody was like,"Do You have any strength to watch TV?" & I said,"It's the time for my mental repose!"

I grabbed all of my Maama's - Maamies & cousins (We were approx 25 people in the large living room) & I was sitting in the centre like some 'Sethaani' lol 😃

In the first 5-10 mins I was busy chanting & intoning about the illustriousness & genuineness of PV & its cast(was too shy to talk about GC directly) ☺️ ☺️ ☺️ & my cousin-cum-bestfriend pinched me saying ,"Giving a wide berth? Ehh?" 😉 😉

Then came the pice de rsistance, chef-d'œuvre ! I was all pink ☺️ ☺️ ☺️ Yes! I had praised this man 1000 times that day in front of everybody, "GC aisa hai" ,"Uski acting first-class hai" ,"He looks amazing" ! But! I had no ideaaa [:O] that these things would be proved in a single day itself! ☺️

Camera zooming on him…'everywhere' 'again n again' ! My heartbeat escalated, I just couldn't hide the big smile that was occurring by itself ☺️

But the moment Prateek sang THAT song I don't know why couldn't I cease my tears 🥺 Too hard to leave behind lovely memories! 😭

Nevertheless!

I couldn't sleep whole night….all those wild wild thoughts didn't let me ☺️

The next day I watched every repeat 😃 GC! I can't stop loving you…..😳

Now tuesdays episode! Me likey 😃 The only thing I didn't like , sorry….Hated in the epi😡 was Payal teasing Aarti!😡 Weren't they bonding in the mall or I was Hallucinating? GC looked out of the world in Green! 😳The last part part between Aarti & Dubeys was too overdramatic in my POV!😕

Now coming to the yesterday's epi! Name Changing Ritual was very much in practice a decade back & was not at all an issue! Ask Your Aunts or Grand-Aunts 😉

Now I shall come to my only forte,ie, COLOR SYMBOLISM

Aarti wearing Pink & Paridhi in Orange! I think it should have been other way round,vice versa!

Wanna know why?

Murky Aarti in pale but perky Pink

The color pink usually serves two purposes. It can be used to show childish innocence, or a characters child-like personality.It can also be used to show a more flirtatious personality. Pink is normally a color associated with girls and femininity. Thereby the colour would have suited Paridhi more aptly.

Now coming to the ironical part, pink is associated with sexuality, and purity. That is, a girl who is a virgin in heart and body . It is also the color used for sexual advertisements and such, to indicate the purity of the girls. Aarti has none of these traits!

But On a positive note it may indicate that Aarya will have a novel & fresh start & a young-at-heart-kinda love story !

Pink is considered a color of good health and life - we speak of people being "in the pink" or the "freshness" of a newborn baby. It also represents pure love, this designates that Prashanth may be her first love , Yash gonna be the true/pure one 😃

Coming to Paridhi's orange dress

Orange represents energy, balance, warmth, enthusiasm, flamboyant, and demanding of attention. Paridhi has all of these attributes. But orange also signifies a change or a ray of brighter hope, this is the reason why it would have suited Aarti more. Anyways! Not a problem 😉

Yash in Green!

How does the green colour affect us physically & mentally:

* Soothing: Yes ! He gonna bring a soothing effect in her life!
* Relaxing mentally as well as physically: Do I need to say more?
* Helps alleviate depression, nervousness and anxiety
* Offers a sense of renewal, self-control and harmony

Green is also regarded as the color of eternal life. This symbolizes that the love he has in his heart will stay like that forever. Only the person he loves will change! *wink-wink* 😉

Hello My Dear Ladies and Gentlemen (if any) of this prestigious Analysis Unit

Why so much frustration over name change. If you go through Social and Cultural Anthropology, its quite common interesting pitiable amusing and funny ritual all over the world from ancient age to till date. One can find giving first dead wife's name to second wife, mother's name to son etc. Unfortunately still exists, which questions your self respect and own identity.

@Bindu: Very interesting new aspect to the Yash-Arpi FB scene. He wanted to always have her near and hear her sounds, see her and feel her presence. This could well be reflective of the possession we saw in him when he talked about not sharing anything of Arpita's with anybody. I guess he equates sharing Arpita's things to sharing Arpita herself and nobody can do that.

This also makes me think of the previous flashback when Yash is holding on to Arpita in the bathroom and not letting her attend to the rest of her duties and saying that he wouldn't let her go. And again in the engagement flashback we noted how strange it was that it was just Yash, Arpita and the rain in the picture. It makes me think his possessive streak is not reserved to Arpita's memories but to the girl herself when she was alive.

@Borna and Indu: I totally agree with you on the bathroom promo, ie that Aarti was more relaxed there and seemed to have some understanding with Yash. But I guess it was the pessimist in me that thought for a second that maybe she still doesn't know. Or maybe she finds out his truth but is always weary in the back of her mind. My favourite part of that promo was when the door opens and Aarti sort of jerks up from whatever thought she was lost in. Now I get the feeling she was expecting something else from Yash, or afraid that she gave him the wrong signal by bursting in on him naked.

@Shubhika: I loved your colour symbolism and your hilarious anecdote about GC! 😆

In fact the first time I ever saw GC he proved a point I was trying to make too! I was telling my cousin how strong jawlines are the most attractive feature on a guy's face while we were casually flipping channels, and BAM I landed on my first ever episode of Geet and my first ever sighting of GC and I just pointed to the screen and said, "see?" 😃

As for your symbolism, it inspired me to think about it and for some reason made me think of the different meanings attached to roses of different colours. So I asked google uncle and what do you know, the results fit so well!

Pink: Love, Gratitude, Appreciation
Pink carries with it the connotation of grace and elegance, as well as sweetness and poetic romance.
Light pink roses are associated with gentleness and admiration, and can also be used as an expression of sympathy.
Orange: Desire, Enthusiasm and Passion
A literal mixture of yellow and red, orange roses were seen as a bridge between friendship symbolized by yellow roses and love represented by red roses.

Just went through the forum and saw two controvertial posts ..one is its a narrow minded serial and second is Yash is rude & Arrogent ...

Since I disagree with both the points ..so will put my defence here so that we can discuss how far the above points r valid 🤔

About narrow mindedness :We viewers ask for shows which can project the real world and when such a show comes which actually projects the real facts of our society ,we call it narrow-minded ...Time to question ourselves who in real sense is narrow-minded mayb ...viewers or the serial ...I m talking in general here for all of us as viewers 😊

Another point ..I myself would hv call it a narrow-minded serial if Aarti and Yash had quietly agreed to the name change demand ...but did they ?? 😳

The fact that in new promo today morning, Aaarti-Shobha revolts against this narrow minded thought and puts their foot down ,itself proves that its not narrow-minded but a progressive serial where the female lead raises her voice against a narrow-minded thought 😊...So the main purpose of this whole name-change fiasco was just to show how this narrow-minded thought gets a protest from our progressive female lead who is today's woman ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ...Correct me if I m wrong 😳

@About Yash being rude and arrogent : This whole accusation is a bit funny since I know the reason behind it 😆...its funny because when the same actor was rude and arrogent in a star one show ,it was considered hot but now its OTT 😕😆😆...Anyways coming to the main mudda 😆 ,I m yet to see his rudeness or arrogence with Aarti here ,so the whole debate itself becomes invalid 😆...What he feels in alone for Arpita or how he behaves with his younger brother in a bathroom is his personal choice and he has the right to it being the elder one,..,..u cant judge him as rude or arrogent from that unless he goes and misbehaves with Aarti na 😳...So I dunno the head or tail behind this whole accusation 😕😆...Anyways chaddo 😆...

@Indu :I liked your analysis on the grt takeover 👏...its true that Scindia family wants to take away all the rights from Dubeys but now I feel Aarti will put her foot down when it comes to taking away her own identity ...

@Borna :I liked your take regarding the original choice of names for Yash and Aarti which was Sidharth and Smriti ...I feel somehow Yash-Aarti fits in perfectly and I m glad that the names were changed in last minute 😳

@About name change fiasco :I feel crowd outside r over-reacting and mayb CVs r hving fun watching the over-reaction with a bucket of popcorns 😆😆...when such twists r given in a show ,every CV looks for extreme reactions from the public and thats what they r getting from this episode ...extreme reactions 😃😆

New promo already shows Aarti and Shobha opposing the whole name-change ritual which actually serves the purpose of why this ritual was introduced yesterday ...its just to put Aarti's character in strong light where she will oppose this whole thing and show the strength of modern day woman ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

@Kunatanya :About Yash in shower ,well even though we can say it was done to show GC's hot body 😆 but I feel there was some other purpose in the scene since water has got a very unique connection with Yash's life and mood swings ,,,even in real life when we r extremely pissed off or frustated ,the first thing we do is go to the bathroom and splash water on our face to cool down 😆...Yash instead of splashing water on his face ,goes to take a shower since after haldi as it is one takes a bath 😆😛

OCD. It could be nothing, but they are showing these flashbacks for a reason and it looks like while Yash was very loving, he was also a very demanding husband. And we all know how the rest of the clan is!

we have only seen yash's version of the past events.. i wonder if that was not the whole picture..

But do you know majority of my relatives (not cousins 😉) had never seen him & it was that day when I realized that the *offline* serial I still long for...people don't even have any idea that existed 😲😲

Though I have been an avid ⭐️-1 viewer since day one 😍

Then I showed my aunties his old pics & some VM's (I have 3000 pics of GC in my iPod 😳) & they all were like "Wow" "Kitna Handsome hai" "OMG! Killer looks" & the little-little kids kept on asking me..."Is he anleek (Enrique)?? 🤣
