Part 1-A Sweet Realization!
Yash walked into his huge mansion on a typical Friday evening.He removed his coat and his laptop bag and gave them to Suresh,the new butler of the house.
There was no sign of anyone.The house was unusually quiet.He suddenly remembered that the his parents and Pankaj's family had gone to attend his chachu's son's birthday.
Prateik and Paridi were in Paris celebrating their long honeymoon.
"Where's Arti?Where are the kids?"he asked himself.
It was eight months into their marriage and he had known Arti to be a dutiful wife,an obedient bahu and a wonderful mother for their kids-Ansh,Payal and Palak.
Yash smiled to himself as he thought how much Arti had influenced his life.She had now become his reason to smile-after all that had happened with Arpita.
Yash sighed and suddenly exclaimed,"Isn't it Friday?"
His face lit up as he quickly freshened up and ran towards the kitchen.

Fridays were meant for family dinner.Arti had made it a point that,Fridays only she'd cook in the kitchen along with Vridant-Vedhika(Pankaj's kids),Ansh,Payal and Palak.
She believed that it'd really help them in their future when they had to cook especially when Vedhika was aspiring to join Yash in his wedding planning company.
"Hey all!"Yash's chirpy voice came from the outside of the kitchen and her heart skipped a beat.
Yash was dressed in a V-cut white T-shirt with black Jeans.For a moment she felt herself getting dragged into a fairytale story where the princess meets the Prince for the first time that she had read a few years back.
"Papa!!"the kids yelled bringing Arti back to reality.
Trying hard from getting embarrassed she continued kneading the dough for the parathas.
"Papa!!"the kids yelled and rushed towards Yash.He lifted Ansh and threw him up in the air causing him to giggle.
He bent down and hugged Payal and Palak and kissed them on their cheeks.
"Papa,Did you get us something?"Ansh asked eagerly.
"Mmm...Not really"Yash said .
"Oh"the kids' face fell.
"I did get you something"Yash said.
The kids were confused.
Yash slowly put his hand into his pocket and took out some keys.
"What are those keys for,papa?"Payal asked.
Yash smiled and said,"I'll give some keys to each of you.What you'd do is,figure out what is the right key to open your cupboard.And once you do so,You'll find your holi gift there.Okay?Now go"
Yash said as he gave some keys to the children and saw them run across the corridor.
He grinned at the disappearing forms of them and said,"They're so lovely!"
"Yes,they are"Arti said looking at him.
Yash came towards her and said,"Hey"as he did something she didn't expect.
He slowly encircled her arms around her waist and brushed his lips on her forehead.
She blushed and slowly asked him,"You came home early?"
Yash hugged her from the back placing his chin on her shoulder and said,"I was missing you..and the kids"
She smiled as she continued kneading the flour.
"Cmon Arti,It's Friday!Lets do something constructive rather than wasting our time in the kitchen with you kneading the flour!"
"Yash,If U don't want to starve the whole night,U better put up with it!"she warned him.
Yash put his hands up in defeat.
"Arti,You always use my weakest point knowin that I have a very good appetite!"he said.
She burst out laughing and Yash was lost in her.
Suddenly they heard Palak shout,"I did it!"
Yash sighed.
"I'll check on them."and walked away from there leaving Arti smiling.

It was late in the night when Arti and Yash sat down for dinner after putting the kids to sleep.Yash looked at Arti and slowly said,"Will you be free tomorrow night?"
Arti nodded and shoved a piece of paratha in her mouth.
"Erm..I was hoping we could go somewhere"Yash said a little apprehensively.
"Wow,that's a great idea!We will go together-me,you,Payal,Palak and Ansh!It'll be fun"she said.
Yash slapped her forehead and said,"No silly,I was aking whether we two could go somewhere-alone...just like a DATE!"
Arti couldn't think beyond that.She lowered her gaze as she felt heat radiating from her cheeks.
"So,Mrs.Scindiya,Will you accompany me to a Date?"Yash asked.
She slightly nodded and quickly finished her food and ran away from there leaving him grinning.

Yash had some work to do and by the time he reached their bedroom,she had already slept.He smiled and was about to change when his phone vibrated.
He immediately took the call and slowly said,"Yes,Prashant?"
There was silence on the other end.
"Is everything ready?"he asked.
"Yes..Tomorrow evening.Sindhra Private Park.I'll be there with her.Okay?"Yash said.
"Thank you,Yash!"Prashant said.
Yash tried hard not to breakdown.He simply said "Take good care of her and Ansh.That's what I need"
"I will"he said.
He looked at Arti's sleeping form after he hung up and slowly said caressing her face,"I love you Arti,I really do!"
