Completely agree! The direction of the show is absolutely flawless. I was literally awestruck by how beautifully the last scene of yesterday's episode was directed, such a beautiful location, flawless transition, everything was perfect.
Like you said the direction has been pretty amazing from the very first episode, but it really, really stood out with yesterday's episode! As for the writing, it's absolutely wonderful, and paced just right, but I was expecting nothing less from the Mittals. One of the reasons I was so excited for this show, after the leads, was because I love the way Sumeet-Shashi Mittal shows flow...there is absolutely no drag, drama is created, but instead of being dragged till it's death, they are resolved within an episode or two. Secrets won't be left hanging over our heads for months, things are resolved quickly and swiftly in a very entertaining manner that keeps you hooked. Because really the worst part of Indian soaps is how long they can drag a single revelation or problem, really to the point where it becomes so over the top that it becomes really difficult to watch the episodes. But with the pace these first 8 episodes have set, I am sure we won't have to worry about that. Twists, turns and drama will obviously be thrown our way, no drama can survive without it, but they'll be resolved in a great and sensible manner.
Basically the who cast and crew of PV are extremely talented. I knew the PH is a good one, with new and unique ideas, and the fact that they managed to rope in such big names with so much talent as their leads just goes on to show that we will not be disappointed with how the story progresses. And I am sure once the romantic scenes start, they'll be executed and performed brilliantly as well, and one of the perks of having a 10:30 time slot is that they can show a lot more romance as compared to like a 9:00 time slot or something!
So before I completely deviate off topic, like you said, literally hats off to the entire team, and I really, really wish this show all the success in the world, and hope they keep delivering this brilliance!
