ArYa : Mujhe kar de mujh se hi Rihaa.

Heeloz!

CONNECTION. Today's episode screamed CONNECTION. Connection between Aarti and Yash when Yash sensed someone 'familiar' when he didn't even see Aarti's face while exiting the lavatory . When Yash kept looking at that lipstick marked currency note. When his fingers touched Aarti's and time stopped for him and Aarti. He didn't even see her once – she didn't see him even once . Yet , they both were bound together by an unsaid , rather uncanny cosmic connection which was almost announcing that they are speeding towards each-other and destiny is putting her next card on the table. Its almost like saying that Arya inspite of having married different people, having lost them, still holding on to them – have held on to each-other just as strongly – through the sand of time , and maybe another lifetime.

How else do you explain this? Prateek , inspite of having been bashed and threatened by Aarti went out of his way to save her and Ansh from the nosey TC. He feels an unexplained warmth towards Aarti , an attachment – its like the moment her leonine radiance sunk into him, he knew that she would be his sister-in-law. Yash's Mom couldn't take her eyes off Aarti once she saw her. Averse to the very thought of her baby Yash marrying a single mother , she changed her mind the instant she saw Aarti. She kept looking at Aarti with a tenderness that her strict face can allow – almost convinced that Aarti is the hope and light that would change Yash, Paayal and Palak's lives. Even the rest of the family – Yash's father , badi bhabhi – they embraced Aarti the second they saw her. It seemed like ever since Arpita left, they had been waiting for Aarti to enter the house, Yash's life and bring sunshine with her. In short , as the creatives have portrayed so far – Aarti is leonine. Everyone falls in love with her. Mind you, with her radiance. There is no acceptance for her wounds.

Today's episode highlighted other issues very well and this is what I love about this show – GROUNDED REALISTIC WRITING. They showed you how tough it is to get a single, divorced mother or the one whose husband is no more , married in India. Specifically in small towns and rooted orthodox families. You understand the reason behind the lies and secrets that Aarti's Dad-In-law is going to use to settle Aartis' life. He has seen the world and Yash's mother only strengthens his decision. Yash's Mom highlights a closed tight mind that is only TRYING to accept modernity. Girls are shameless if they love a man enough to call him 5-6 times. A divorced woman is a TABOO. Convenient and myopic acceptance of modernity. Sadly, this is our typical Indian Society - selective perspectives and self-suited views.

Anyway, the moments that stood out for me were Yash feeling a special something when he crossed Aarti in the lavatory . That 20 rupee note marked by Aarti reaching Yash. Ideally, Yash would have shoved that note somewhere else but he didn't. ArYa tied 'Mannat ka Dhaaga' together and Providence joined their hands and destiny together. They both don't know what they felt when they crossed the other beautiful stranger – but whatever it was, it made their dormant hearts at least make an effort to try and skip a beat. Arya are SOULMATES.

'Kunfaaya' was the perfect song for the Dargah scene. They both are burning in personal hells and that is why 'Mujhe kar de mujh se hi rihaa'. When Arya unchain themselves from their tragic pasts , they will release themselves too.

P.S- You know when Yash's Mom was looking at Aarti with such admiration and tenderness , I remembered that daayan aunty from the first episode. Anyone can fall in love with Aarti's radiance and her beautiful beautiful self , but how many have it in them to love her wounds and her 'ugly' reality as well? Will Yash's Mom love Aarti when she finds out Aarti's divorce truth? Will that truth eclipse the person that she is? Aarti's in-laws hiding the truth and Yash's folks not having it in them to deal with the truth will once again ruin Aarti's life. Then? Will Yash see beyond the truth-lie hide and seek and even try to see who Aarti is and how shackled and scared she is? If Aarti is Yash's hope, then, Yash needs to understand someday that he is Aarti's release.

Love and luck always,❤️

GOD bless everyone. 🤗

Nitzieee!
I couldn't help but peek into this post, and I'm SO excited about this episode now that I've read a little bit of what you've written! Aaah, this story is going to be the death of me. Hyperventilating after only a week's worth of episodes, but this is what a truly good show does, doesn't it?

Well I started just today ... had some free time so watched a part of tonight's episode on tele and rest i will be downloading now and over the weekend 😳

As for the PM take your time Its not at all important except being a humble request or wish

PS what draws me towards this show is the strong characterization of Aarti ... she is not the cry cry sob sob divorcee wallowing in self pity.

So would love to see how they shape up this character

Nitz,
What do I say? You have said it all. It was all about connections, wasn't it? Everything was shown so beautifully and subtly. There was no over the top scenes, yet a very instant yes. Looking at her, everyone just knew THIS is HER. Sometimes when you meet someone you just have this inner feeling telling you that this is the right person. The positive vibes just changed everyone's opinion. Though, those yash'e mother criterias for marriage are something that are added to show some drama, but am sure they will overcome those obstacles. Sigh nitz, you have no idea after a long time (well after Phulwa) a show has just connected with me Even. Right from the promos, I just sensed that this show would definitely be a beautiful one. There was a breeze of freshness.
(I wasnt able to watch the show fully as I was in and out, so will have to wait till I get home to give a full feldge reply.)

Thank you, Gaggu.😳...True. Sometimes that does happen with us as well - we look at a person and he/she becomes a loved on. You just know it and maybe that is what Yash's family saw in Aarti - somebody who will become their own.I am just glad that we are watching the same show again. 😃

Pocu was so waiting for your post because I knew u will write today after such a symbollic and eventful episode 😳😳😳
Today there were bundle of symbolisms in the entire episode ...Firstly I think for the first time a show is shot in a real train and whole build-up of the Punarvivaah storyline is taking shape in a real train itself where both families meet and almost do the rishta ...I feel here the main symbolism is the train and how two lives r shown getting connected in that same train and so the train here symbolises the journey of life ..the new journey of Aarti and Yash ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ...
Second symbolism is the way first they meet in a very unromantic place like the train toilet which indicates their life's journey wont start on a romantic note 😆 but later once again they sort of brush each other's hand in a divine place like the Dargah where both almost comes face to face in front of that divine sacred place while tieing the dhaga together which indicates that their life's journey might not start on a romantic note but its going to b divine ,pure and eternal 😳😳...
Third symbolism is of course the spl currency note which has Aarti's lipstick mark on it and it goes to none other than Yash ...well does it mean Destiny hv made their jodi ..or should I say Rab ne bana di jodi ?? 😳
Their first meeting was in a marriage and well their life's journey too will start with marriage 😳..then the second encounter was in unromantic place like train toilet and well their life's journey too wont b a romantic one 😆...then the third brushing of hand happens in a peaceful place like dargah and their life's journey too is going to be peaceful hopefully without any jerks of betrayal 😳 ...
Pratik-Aarti scenes are really very cute and the way Pratik helps Aarti in dealing with that ticket checker ...is it like an indication that after marriage Pratik is going to b this cute Devar-Friend of Aarti who will help her out in her new life journey as well and might b a possible cupid for ArYa as well ?? 😛🤔...Like u said Pratik is definitely that spl connection between ArYa ..he is the one who brings the rishta ,makes Yash aware of that currency note ,helps and supports his future bhabhi ...so well he is like a god sent cupid for both 😆😳
