Part three
It was Payal's birthday. The guests invited were pouring in huge numbers.
Aarthi smiled as she got her girls dressed.
"Momma.. Do you think Payal is more beautiful than me?"
Aarthi laughed at Palak's innocence, "nahi beta.. you two are beautiful! You're our angels remember?"
Palak nodded and smiled. Aarthi smeared her saree, moving out of the room she almost bumped into Pratik.
"Oh bhabhi.. I'm sorry! Ow!! "
Prathik whined as Aarth caught his ear, "bhabhi please!"
"What's the time now and when were you supposed to be here? Palak dekho chachu se baat math karna.. woh aapke bday party pe late aaye hai.. "
Payal huffed. Pratik sighed, "Paridi.. aap jaanthi hai ki woh- "
"Haan! Your every sentence begins with her name! I know.. well, go and get ready! Payal, Palak, stay here beta! I'll be back!"
Aarthi walked out of the room, hurried down the hall when she knocked into someone.
"Oh I'm sorry Yash jee!"
Yash smirked and glanced down at her beautiful face. Wait! Did he say beautiful?
Aarthi looked around, appreciating the decorations, a faint tune reached her ears.
"Wow! This place looks beautiful!" Aarthi could hardly believe it was the same Sindhia household.
"So do you!" Yash didn't know what came over him and why he had said that.
"Jee?"
Yash smiled at her innocence, "haan jee! Your looking beautiful! No one here will believe that you're a mother of three kids!"
Aarthi's eyes widened slightly and her lips formed a small ' o ' .
"You know.. when someone gives you a compliment, you're supposed to say thanks. " Yash smiled again.
He was dressed in a cream and black coloured sherwani, his hair falling into his eyes as he stared at her.
"T- thanks!" Aarthi managed to smile him back while turning pink. Yash Sindhiya complimented her! O yes, the sky is green in colour!!
"You're welcome!" Yash walked away leaving her wondering what just happened.

A while later Aarthi walked into their room, just to find Palak crying.
"Momma! I just broke your favorite vase! I didn't do it on purpose.. "
Yash who was passing by the corridor, heard his daughter's cries.
"Chup! Come here now! Oh lemme pick you up! Ah- "
Yash stood by the door, watching as Aarthi picked up the girl and got her seated.
"Show me your hands, your feet? Are you sure you aren't bleeding!? Thank god! Aaaja beta! Oh.. don't cry! We'll ask dad to get another vase ok? Smile baby.. now!"
Yash was smiling widely as he saw Aarthi interact with his, no their daughter, he corrected.

The birthday party began and everyone was enjoying themselves. Gayathri, Mr. Sindhiya, Pankaj, Vidhi, Paridi were all praise for Aarthi who was an ideal bahu, beti and maa.
"Look at them, they look so cute together, nahi? Oye! Pratik! Look, there!" Paridi pointed at Yash & Aarthi who were feeding Payal with cake.
"Yeah, they look so cute! Aakhir mere bhabhi- bhaiya hai!" Prathik nodded.
The rest of the party went peacefully, the guests were almost leaving when a high pitched shriek errupted.
"Mommyyy!"
"PAYAL!"
Yash and Aarthi tushed in unison. Payal's head was bleeding. She must have tripped while playing around.
"Oh.. kuch nahi hua beta! Here lemme wipe it! Pratik! Go get some cotton and dittany! Yash jee.. doctor ko bulayiye!"
Yash picked up his phone, when a snide comment stopped him.
"Wah wah! Look at the way she's behaving with the kid! Oh Aarthi you can receive an oscar!" Yash's sister commented.
Aarthi brushed a tear that fell down her cheek, "kya mathlab?"
"Well well.. Looks like we have a whole family melodrama here! What do you think of yourself? Just because you have managed to fool Yash, maa and my pathetic brothers doesn't mean you have fooled me too!" the woman went on. Everyone was tensed. Aarthi frowned.
"Kaun is ladki ko bardaash karega.. ise kuch nahi aatha! Pyar toh door ki baath hai.. yeh to Payal ko sambhal nahi sakthi! Isilye pehla pathi margaya h- "
Aarthi closed her eyes, waiting for the painful words to srike her.
"Bas! Aarthi ithni achi hai ki koi bhi usse pyar karsaktha hai!" Yash stopped his sister in midsentence and glared.
"Oh wow! You succeeded in fooling this man too! I'm impressed.. "
Yash was about to retort when the elderly Sindhiya stepped in, "Beti.. andar jaao!"
"But father!"
"GET INSIDE NOW! Ah! Please excuse me gentleman.. " Mr. Sindhiya smiled awkwardly at the guests.
Yash walked up to Aarthi who was shaking with fresh sobs, "I'm sorry! Aarthi.. I- "
Aarthi hugged him at this point. Yash was taken aback but started brushing her hair, "its okay!"
"Mamma!" Ansh walked to brush her tears as Payal and Palak joined him.
"Please don't cry mommma! Main bhi rouungi! Aap ro math!" Palak was teary eyed. Payal started crying.
"No no! Beta! You are our angels! I'm not crying.. now you too don't cry! Ansh! Lets go get some sleep. "
Yash and Aarthi took the kids to their room.
The party ended.

Sindhiya pariwar are on vacation. They are out for sight seeing in Kullu ( HP ) .
"Your mom can never compete with me!" Yash smiled confidently.
"Oh really? Ho jay race? We girls are mush better than guys! Right, little girls?" Aarthi grinned as Payal & Palak shoued ' yes ' .
"Oh lets see! Come on, Ansh! We need to win this girls vs boys race!"
The race began.

"Oh no! Yeh hum kahan aagaye! Aarti.. "
"Yash jee.. I'm scared. Don't say that we are lost in this valley area!"
