plz..iam not doing any kind of bashing..kindly note this...its a request...

GC is a super star...no doubt..regarding that...

his earlier role "maan" was a trend setter...the memories of that show are still a fresh in our minds...

he became a role model for such characters...

after the end of that show...within a short span of time...he took this character...

He can do any kind of role amazingly...but to accept him as yash...it takes time..long time..atleast for me...

GC is maan...and everytime when GC appears onscreen...mind views him as maan only...

I don't know..whether its my problem alone..or others are also having same difficulty...

He should have done some reality shows...after geet...to make ppl forget...abt the character of maan...(not possible)..atleast to some extent...anyway..its his life..and its none of my business...

anyways..all the best GC...but still its too early to accept you as yash...(atleast for me...)

completely agree with you. he is only maan for me and whenever geet was on there were butterflies in tummy, now he is only GC without that magnetic charisma. i think i will not be able to get over that for ever

I also agree with you...I still think GC equals to Maan only...definitely it will take time to accept Yash...but he looks too young as Yash and having two daughters...but still refreshing one...

why he trun look like maan stlye i feel yday hole scene is like a maan only there no yash.even today SBS also told same thing.but i dont what to hurt PV forums ppl thats why keep quit.we are crazy for maaneetain .

Well for me Punar Vivah is growing on me. And so are its characters. Yash,so far we have seen very little of him,but I am liking the slow build up. As for Maan,yes it is an unforgettable character. But it ended on 15th Dec. And nothing can change that fact,whether GC took up a role after 1 month or 6 month. I admire him as an actor for taking such a challenge.

Gurmeet has made place in millons of hearts as Maan and of course when we see him today we see him as Maan.

Maan was such an awesome character and Gurmeet played it so well that he made it real and a house hold name.

So If we forget Maan than it would not be great thing as the it is still fresh in our memories..

People who has seen him as Ram still consider him as Ram though Maan came later.

So dear it is natural and it will take time for Yash to grow in everyone's heart.

But do not worry.. Gurmeet is a trend setter and he will make Yash a huge success...

But it does not mean that people will not remember him as Maan or Ram

It only depends upon an individual who they connect with either Ram or Maan or now Yash..

Gurmeet himself says you can call me by any name.. Maan or Yash or Ram..

At the end of the day he is one and only Gurmeet Choudhary...

Agree with you, evasumi, I always like your mature posts. :)

I myself still see Gurmeet as Ram more than in any other character, because I've seen Ramayan not once, but many times and connected him with that character much before GHSP.

BUT...I think he does equally well in all his roles and Yash is truly growing on me. To me, GC will always be Ram, but I have accepted him as Yash as many here have, and soon, I may also come to think of him as Yash, though the image of Ram will never leave my mind.

Anyway, we can't make judgments now. Let the show air for awhile before passing judgments.
