Punar Vivah remains steady in Week 4

PUNARVIVAH

Week 11 - 12 MAR 2012 To 18 MAR 2012 Avg :- 2.20 TRP

Numbers are the same as last week. We didn't rise, but we didn't fall either, so hopefully this wedding track will be the catalyst that picks things up 😊

Thanks for sharing the TRPs, Maham! 😊

Yes, this is looking just fine as far as the progress is concerned. Observing the pattern, it actually looks like the PH is controlling the TRPs rather than the audience which is excellent because it means they will have full power over the story, without the channel trying to interfere for TRPs.

If the PH's other shows are anything to go by, we have to jhelofy some pretty heavy drama (so the TRPs shoot up) before the focus shifts exclusively to the main story. But since I like all the characters, and am willing to suspend my disbelief for the warm fuzzies, bring on the craziness! 😆 It is something they have to do to cater to a wide audience and I like the way this PH does it, where you can just about justify the lack of logic if you put in some effort.

Thanx for sharing.
Its a good sign that d trps are steady.
Hopefully it will rise from next week onwards.
N most importantly its giving a good competition to d other trp slot leaders inspite of being few weeks older.
Slowly n steadily its becoming a winning horse in d trp race.
N that's a good sign.

Completely agree with this! The Mittals are known for their slow buildup that eases its way to a dhamakedaar climax. In this process, the show slowly and steadily gains viewers, and these viewers are there to stay for the long time, so that when the climax actually hits, the shows have gained its momentum and never looks back!

Also, they're a known and successful PH so the channel won't intervene in the storytelling until it's absolutely needs to, and I hope it never comes to that. There is a reason all these parallel and side tracks are being laid along with the main story, so that there doesn't come a time in the near future where the show needs to lag because they don't know how to further move the story along! And there is no doubt that the Mittals execute in a way that keeps bringing the audience back, so I for one am really excited to see how the story unfolds!
