Karan V Grover was born in Dehradun, but brought up in Mumbai after completing his schooling he then did Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Mumbai. Later on he did an Event Management course from NIEM (National Institute of Event Management).

Before entering the television industry he worked for a year with Omang Kumar's Event Management Company but while doing events he felt that He should be in front of camera to fulfill his wish he participated in the Gladrags Manhunt Contest in 2004, where He was amongst the top five finalists.

Later he was a VJ with Zee Music but wasn't satisfied

and wanted to do something different and explore something else

One day he came to know about Star Plus's upcoming show through one of his friends and then gave the audition and got selected as the male lead In the show Saarthi after that his television career started and there was no looking back for him as he gained instant fame and became a household name.

Every year on his birthday he travels to a new destination some places he has been during his birthday are Mauritius, Ladakh, London and Europe.

He loves technology and is always updated with the latest trends

Goa and Ladakh are two of his favourite destinations in India

His dream woman is Scarlette Johansson

He is a big prankster and always likes to have masti on the sets

His favourite genre is action and his dream role is to play james bond

The most adventurous thing he has done yet is skydiving

He is a fitness freak and enjoys working out

His middle name stands for the first letter of his fathers name

He went bald for his role in YMGGK

His favourite actor is Aamir khan

He is a foodie and enjoys rajma chawal the most

His favourite co stars are Suhasi Dhami and Srishty Rode

As a kid he wanted to become a pilot

He is full with energy he can work long hours even and yet remain happy
