s the much loved sport of our country 'Cricket' which is crazily admired by millions of people, we got in touch with TV actresses who are participating in this year's BCL (Box Cricket League) to know their interest in this sport and also from the others who love watching this sport.

Let's hear what these TV stars have to say...

Divyanka Tripathy who plays Ishita Raman Bhalla in Ye Hai Mohabbatein on Star Plus - "I am not a cricket fan but I enjoy watching when our Indian team is playing. I cannot watch match which happens between two different countries when our country is not playing. I personally never played cricket and that's the reason I didn't participate in Box cricket League because any game require lots of practice and I can't do that because of my busy schedule. But I go to cheer my friends from the team Babu Moshaye and I go mad whenever our Indian team or my friends play because I really like their efforts they put in to play cricket. I am a very good cheer leader rather than a player. If I get a chance to play in future then I will definitely play because I am a kind of a person who likes to explore in all the activities. So I will surely learn cricket and then will participate because any game you play requires practice."

Additi Gupta who was seen in Badalte Rishton ki Daastan on Zee TV - "I was never interested in cricket, in fact when my parents used to watch match at home, I used to scold them as I feel its waste of time. I used to say that everyone can predict what's going to happen after every 2 balls. But when she was offered to play for BCL and when I started playing I actually realized that it's so much fun in this game. I love doing fielding and balling because batting is not my cup of tea. Bat hi itna bhari hota hai ki who uth ta hi nai mujhse (laughs). Currently I am playing for Box Cricket league for the team Babu Moshaaye and I stay back and work as per given command because our team has a very good players.

Vrushika Mehta who plays Sharon Rai in Dil Dostii Dance on Channel V - "I am not at all interested in playing cricket but I always watch and cheer whenever Shantanu Maheshwari is playing as he loves playing cricket. I used to watch him playing even on the sets whenever he used to practice and I used to cheer him. I don't know anything about the game but if I get a chance to play then I will definitely go for it and will prefer to do fielding because batting is very difficult as per my observation (smiles)."

Nia Sharma was seen as Manvi Viraat Singh in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain on Star Plus - "I was not at a cricket buff but after being a part of Box Cricket League, I started enjoying this game and its fun playing. When I was young I used to play cricket for fun but never had interest in cricket with its rules and regulation. After being part of Mumbai Mustram, I have started enjoying myself and started taking interest in cricket. I like to do bowling instead of batting because I am a good bowler and my teammate believes that girls show do bowling rather batting."

Srishty Rode who was seen as Sarita in Punar Vivaah Ek Nayi Umeed on Zee TV - "Yes I am a cricket buff, I play with my friends. I had participated in Box Cricket league and was about to be a part of the Ghaint Punjabis team but players were already selected and they didn't wanted to replace any player and unfortunately I didn't get chance to be part of it but I come to cheer my friends. I like to do batting more than bowling. I remember when I was a kid I used to hit my friends with my cricket bat (laughs) but now I don't any such thing."

Sukirti Kandpal who plays Sakshi in Kaisa Ye Ishq Hai... Ajab Sa Risk Hai on Life OK- "Yes, I am a huge fan of cricket, I love playing cricket. I remember when I was small I used to play cricket with my friends and used to remove ball from Nallas (sewage) and dirty places. The worst part was whenever we used to go out to play cricket we never used to bother about the time and at the end when I used to reach home with the dirty ball. I used get scolding from my mother but still I used to never stop playing. I really enjoy doing batting and I watch cricket whenever I get time. I went to the stadium many a times to watch live matches. I have complete knowledge about cricket. Currently my favorite cricketer is Virat Kohli as I really like his personality as a cricketer and the way he plays is commendable."

With the Indian cricket team making it to the semifinals and BCL (Box Cricket League) also heading towards its semifinals, we hope that the best team wins. Till then you all enjoy reading it!
