Sarita said a quick prayer thanking the Lord that her innocence had be proven. Before she could get to the one place she wanted to get to she stopped to give Divya a hug and to thank Raj for their help. Divya hugged Sarita back with all her might and whispered that she was thankful that this whole court case situation was over. Sarita simply responded with, "God always stands up for the truth." Divya could only shake her head at Sarita's humbleness. As soon as Divya let her she looked right at Raj and he gently shook his head in acknowledgement. Sarita gave a small smile and then accepted the loving hugs form the rest of her family. Finally after telling all that she was glad it was over and let them shake off all their worries she turned and looked for the only person that mattered. She spotted him immediately as he walked out of the courthouse. She felt her footsteps quicken so that she could catch up with him. However by the time she reached outside he had already climbed into the car and driven away. She felt such utter despair at missing her chance

Vikrant stepped out of the car and into his home, no he could no longer look at this giant mansion and think of it as home. It hadn't been home since the night the police took Sarita out in handcuffs. It had been an empty shell of house. He stepped into the living room and felt the cool chill of emptiness. He still couldn't believe how stupid he was, how all the signs were right in front of his face and he chose to ignore them and let the past overshadow what his heart had known. That Sarita was different. Hell his own son recognized the gem of a woman they had managed to capture the second she rescued him on the street. And had even given the chance for him to get to know her. Vikrant had no clue how he was going to tell his son that though they had won the court case, their family had lost. He couldn't face his son not yet he felt his feet carry him to his room and as he stood in the empty room he didn't know what to do. Finally he decided to change he went to walk to his closet however he found his hands reaching towards her closet instead. He just wanted one last chance to smell the fragrance that was unique to her. He remembered watching those ridiculous tv shows his mom would watch where the wife would pick up her husbands shirt and smell his scent. He had thought it was ridiculous however today he couldn't stop himself from trying to see if that simple acto would bring him comfort. He opened the cabinet and all he saw was...emptiness.

Sarita grabbed the first rickshaw she spotted and told them to hurry. She had places to go and she needed to get their ASAP. As she counted the seconds go by she was grateful Divya had forced her to take the cash. She reminded herself that the second she got things settled she needed to call her friend and let her know how much she truly meant to her.

Vikrant couldn't believe his eyes. Her closet was empty. There was not a single piece of clothing inside the closet. He started to tear open the drawers but they too were empty of her purses. He walked over to the vanity and though most of the little bottles and sticks and brushes were still there he senses that the key things were missing. Like the hairbrush he would secretly watch her use while he pretended to be busy doing work on his ipad. Or the little pencil thing she had accidentally drawn all over the front of his shirt when he came barreling in looking for his blue socks. And that moment solidified what he had known but had hoped wouldn't come true. It had ended. And with that realization he felt his knees give out and he tumbled to the floor tears falling down his cheeks, his soundless groan of pain all the more heartbreaking due to it's silence.
