Srishty Rode is in pain…severe pain and our heart goes out to her.
The lovely lady currently plays the plays the role of Sarita in Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd's Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed airing on Zee TV.
And why is she in pain? Well, the pretty actress recently had a major fall on the sets. She fell from the stairs and rolled over to the ground, as a result of which she carries bruises on her neck,shoulder, back and legs.
Says Srishty, "It was a terrible fall and my whole body is in pain right now. This happened day before yesterday (24 July) and I wanted to see the doctor immediately. But due to the hectic shooting schedule, I have not been able to meet the doctor yet. We are presently shooting the mehendi sequence and every scene needs my presence. I am barely able to move my neck; I have been wearing the back belt for support to shoot the close sequences. I did not even move in to my vanity room post my shot yesterday, as it is tough for me to walk all the way. Thankfully, the entire team is of great support and has been taking care of me."
Srishty had a special mention for co-actor and lead Karan V Grover for helping her out during this tough time. "If I have been able to shoot even after the fall, the entire credit for this goes to Karan. He has literally been helping me around to shoot my scenes and also in moving around. I cannot afford to take a day's off, but hopefully would want some time for myself today to go and consult a doctor. I think I am carrying internal bruises on my neck, back and legs and it is very important that I take medical help at the earliest."
