what kind of message cvs r providing to the viewers really cant tell..but one thing for sure they r showing that how indian culture is so many steps ahead for weird way..whcih is giving us a big ? mark on every viewers forehead...

Kinara, I do have to say that this is the most unique show I have seen in my four years of Hindi soap viewing history. I cannot say that I watch a lot of soaps, but ever since I joined the forum I do read updates of few soaps just to see what is out there. Not that I am currently finding any show interesting, but they are regular type of soaps.

I can accept one-sided love, true love, spiritual love or whatever. But the definitions provided here are coming from CVs special dictionary. Wonder if they will write a love manual on their version of love and devotion. In fact, these CVs must be unique because I read more criticism of the show than any liking from the first day. Usually, it takes 3-6 months for even a bad show to turn off its viewers. Here, they are turning off somebody or the other from the very beginning.

As far as message is concerned, they are sending some unique ones of their own.

1. Fall for any guy whose proposal comes from him or his family. If you like his looks, then it implies that he is your true love.

2. Do everything you can to marry him (disregarding parents advice etc.) and then tolerate abuse if you have to win him. In fact, tolerating abuse will come in handy for generating pity and sympathy from him.

3. Also, worship the guy and gratify him with adulation if he cares enough to not bring a mistress. If he takes a slap from your parents, then this is a proof that he has Vishnu type tolerance and he is worthy of your devotion and love.

4. If he has an ex girfriend, then it is an added bonus. Bring her in even if you have to emotionally manipulate her to make the guy fall for you.

5. Marry anybody else as long as the groom is approved by the husband. The only condition should be that he instead of your parents should do Kanyadaan.

6. Lie to prospective groom about your current in laws and husband.

7. Marry the guy even if you don't love him and never want him to touch you because that would please the true love. Afterall, how else can he fall for you?

8. Do whatever is needed to get a second groom. In fact, giving virginity tests is a sure way to win your hubby's attention.

I too am very curious to see this one. Didn't the movie Raavan had the husband demanding lie detective test to prove that the wife did not sleep with the kidnapper? But the wife there was not a virgin. So was asked to do that. Here the wife is a virgin to an infinite degree (I mean our hero has kept her so pure that he averted his eyes whenever the wife started behaving badly).

Yup, these creatives do think of themselves as Valmiki, Ved Vyas and Shakespeare too (Sarita is probably Lady Macbeth).

By the way, I was thinking of another character name for Raj and that is Puru-rava to Sarita's Devyani and Divya's Sharmistha if they stick with the original story and original montage (shown a while back).

Myra, this is a triangular mythological story where Sharmista was an extremely beautiful daughter of a king and Devyani was her best friend (spoilt and pampered daughter of King's powerful Guru). Both were head strong and had ego clashes and fell for the same guy madly. I have read several interpretations of two characters where either the author loved Devyani/hated Sharmistha or hated Devyani/loved Sharmistha, but not much blame was given to Puru-rava who was neither faithful to Devyani or Sharmistha. Well, Devyani's enraged father did curse Puru-rava (taking his youth and making him an old man) despite Devyani's entreaties for being unfaithful to Devyani despite Devyani's entreaties after several years of marriage (similar to Sarita's father slapping Raj).

and there are several like you. It is coming as a degenerate show and I am not sure how many would continue to stick with ot.

It is fine to show double standards because they exist in the society. If that was the only purpose to show Rohan's rejection, I would be totally fine with it. But Shiela - the "good loyal" one to her Bhabhi, falling for Rohan makes no sense at all. I mean any sensitive girl would be repelled by a character like Rohan who has such double standards. But here she has fallen for him. And they want us to think that Shiela is Sarita's well wisher.

Then Raj and Sarita endorsing him and fighting for Shiela to marry him makes no sense. Are they Shiela's enemies? Sarita instead of coming as this sacrificing sister in law is coming across as Shiela's enemy. So is Raj who has no problem with Rohan type character. Which loving brother would want their younger sister to marry such a guy?

Remember when this show was launched , very proudly both the channel and PH were saying that this title PV has many potentialities , means they can go on making season after season .
But god know how many this 2nd season will take as there are many candidates for PV . starting from Raj,s father and his wife and mistress and the silsila will go on . Can not stop laughing , never saw such crap .

ok, now my head is spinning and CVs did not make it easy. In fact, I should not be in forum as I have tonnes of pending work that I need to finish this month. But what can I do? After yesterday's update, I could not resist the forum and have ended up spending so much time here that I am now way behind in my work.

I thought Myra meant Rohan. So is Raj now both Raavan and Ram? Now I am as conphused as you are.

Isn't Rohan the groom? I am actually quite confused as Rohan rejected marriage with Sarita but Sarita is getting married again. Of course, I am out of the loop here as I am not really watching promos or reading articles of this show.

But I like your idea of Raj disappearing from the show and having this new triangle. Actually, that would be quite unique. One lead disappeared after one month and the other will disappear after two months. The new triangle has more potential with villain parents, weakling husband and two vamps who can also be heroines depending on the week.

How should i know, i am an economist not gynocologist 😆 In the article pic it was shown sarita very confident lighting a match stick..maybe that the medical procedure :)))
