Prakash Ramchandani replaces Ali Raza Namdar in Punar Vivah

Few days back it was a report on TOI about Punar Vivah 2 all set to introduce few characters according to its new track. Hence, actors like Abhishek Mallik, Urmila Sharma, Surbhi Vyas, Manoj Jaiswal have been roped in to play various characters.

The latest we hear is that soon in the track, Sarita's parents will too be introduced and for the same actors like Maleeka Ghai, who had earlier been seen in Punar Vivah will essay Sarita's mother while Prakash Ramchandani of fame Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage and acted in few episodic like Fear Files, Adaalat will play her father. Actor Ali Raza Namdar was casted earlier to play Sarita's father but now the character had seen a replacement.

"Maleeka and Prakash haven't started shooting and will start the shoot very soon. They will enter the show in order to carry forward the track wherein Sarita had asked Raj for her Punar Vivah," said source.

Maleeka Ghai confirmed the buzz while Praskash remained unavailable for the comments.

Thanks for sharing the article. Interesting writeup Regarding the underlined part...since it is written that the casting for the role of Sarita's father was done before...does it mean when the show started or just recently in the past 2 weeks.

If the casting was done when the show started then why were they not shown as a support system for Sarita? Since Divya and Raj's characters (their thoughts, reasons behind separation, emotions) were ignored in the beginning of the show and the fact that Sarita survived 10 years of abuse without any support and her pain and emotions were emphasized, does this mean that the script was deliberately written that way so that Sarita's pains are highlighted at the expense of Divya? I am not saying that Sarita did not suffer through abuse...yes she did and her emotions needed to be shown but why were Divya's pain and emotions disregarded. Couldn't both have been shown since this story was advertised as one containing three leads? I mean Divya left her love behind and took up family responsibility...she was all alone with younger siblings in a new city...she must have also undergone struggles. Nothing has been shown on that. Then till now we don't what happened between Divya and Raj. Isn't this important? All that is happening now is a consequence of what happened 10 years back...so why has no importance been given to that.

We have been asking about Sarita's parents from the beginning. So if they were reading the forum then they knew what the audience wanted. Yet they did not introduce them. So was this all planned from the beginning?

If its s new development then good that they have recognised their folly.
