and i can never say ghori was shaheed.he was a total coward...... the first thing he did was, to pierce prithvi's eyes with hot iron rods.when prithvi was brought as the prisoner...... i can never call such a person as a hero....... it was a complete inhuman act.but then i don't know, if u wld agree to it.cos even in kargil war, six of our soldiers were brutally tortured b the pakistani army..........The postmortem revealed that the Pakistan army had indulged in the most heinous acts; of burning their bodies with cigarettes, piercing ear-drums with hot rods, puncturing eyes before removing them, breaking most of the teeth and bones, chopping off various limbs and private organs of these soldiers besides inflicting all sorts of physical and mental tortures before shooting them dead, as evidenced by the bullet wound to the temple.............one of the soldier was capt saurab kalia......
second, the way he troubled the people of india after he won over.... his soldiers were busy raping the indian woman.......and u call such a person as hero.he destroyed our temples , stole gold from there.......

Many historians claim that in ancient India women were educated, had a say in family members and were allowed to choose their own husbands...the example is ancient system of swaymber which is mentioned in our history books. Many women were famous sages.
I would like to quote here the words of Sir James .."At a time when our ancestors were thinking of killing animals or one another, India perhaps had philosophy which was very mature, also, art,poetry, literature and infact every thing."
It is very surprising KGauri that you have written Ghori came to India for the betterment of Indians..where it is written or what he did for India?
Ghori and many other invaders killed many innocent people. Their own letters are evidence that they just wanted wealth of India and it was wealth of India, that had attracted them to come and invade India.

First of all, "All the best for ur Exams"................
and now, abt Ghori.............i am at loss to understand, how u equated our dislike of Ghori, with muslims........ Ghori is a muslim but all muslims are not ghori.........
just explain us, how u call ghori a hero........ a person who
1) brutally tortured a prisoner of war..........even when it was the same person who forgave him once
2)looted all the gold of india.....
3)raped the women and destroyed our temples..
