India is my motherland., i am born to free INdia in the the twentieth century. I have seen many a new change for good, many a new change for bad.Since my early childhood, i have heard about the rich tradition and heritage to which i have been born. It gives me immense pleasure to think that i have been born to this country where civilisation have dawned, had been nurtured and had reached an epitome of glory and succees.

INdisa, as we all know was the origin of number syetsms, trigonometry, calculus, particle and nucelar physics, although they werw not known by today's nomenclature

astrology, astronomy, the science of politics and economics were well developed, the proof lies in our very own epics-Ramayan and mahabharat, which relfect the life and society at that time

India's treasure, rich, luxurious lands have always attracted foreigners-to begin with the aryans. some came as invaders, soem as tourists, some as colonists, some as business men, some simply to see and love this land. whatever might thier wishes be, whatever might they feel about our land-love or hatred, India had always assembled them together in her. each has retained their own unique culture and religious practise, yet each has become a part of a bigger culture, a bigger religion-religion of universal host and love, That's the greatness of India taht has prevailed through centuries. it won over the portugese invaders, the dutch business men, the french,the german and lastly the english. The english who ruled our land for long 200 years, took away a lot of our wealth-both vitual and monetary-but i returnm they borught us to the loight of the modern civilisation. A woman of 21st century, like me, who is tryping all these words is also communicating with the rest of you inenglish, and i owe thi to Raja rammohan roy, ISwarchandra vidyasagar-both product of ealry renneisance.

what INdia is now, we all know, we know where we have degraded us, and we all know where we have held our heads high. what we must all realise is that, our mother land, our country of orgini once gave birth to the oldest civilization, also to the most richly enhanced civilization and that we Indians can still win the world with our patience and love

we indians have a habit of hyping sometimes things and then when they fail by a micromillimeter toss them hard, its true for the public and the media

now since cricket is the only game that fetches money, good coverage and lot of ads to the media on a regular basis, tehy will hype it all

personally i fel we should learn to take evrything a little bit easier, thsi hype is the reason that other sportspeople are growing a grudge on Cricket people, also ist not good for the people, i think ours is teh only country where peopel leave work, study everything and postpone it for days just for teh sake of a game

all this happoens because of teh hypes of media

when india won t20, Some of our ace golfers have topped soem golfing tournament too, but hype doesnto rest on them

its bad for us , the poeple , for the sportsmen(*think of teh pressure cricketers undergo)
